Property Ratings at Creek Point Apartments
I moved into this property little over 3 months ago. my unit is very spacious and quiet and peaceful. The rent is comparatively reasonable. The unit manager Ceairra is very friendly, prompt and helpful. I have had minor 2 maintenance issues which were resolved in a timely manner: thanks to Nathan. I would suggest having security cameras in common areas especially the entrance and the parking areas.
I called for a week and no one answered the phone, finally someone did, took my name and info and set up a tour for 2 hours later, then when i got down there no one answered the buzzer or the phone. I must have called or buzzed 20 times and was right on time. I stood out there for 30 minutes and finally just left.

Hi Ian, We apologize no one was made available for you. We now have a full time property manager on site at the building to better assist with future showings. We are truly sorry about the inconvenience.
Its been 7 weeks since I moved out . None to respond to my calls/voicemails/emails. No signs of security deposit refund .

Hi Vishwanath, We apologize for the delay you have experienced in receiving your Security Deposit refund. The check was reissued on 12/29/22. Interest was paid on the deposit and the only charge deducted was your final utility bill. If you would like to discuss further or have any other questions, please get in touch with us at (866) 757-4824 or creekpoint@ipgliving.com. Thank you for your residency at Creek Point.
I have lived here for 4 years and things have been going downhill ever since the building was bought by Sage Apartments (Investment Property Group, based in California...). Like everywhere else, once the "investors" got involved, any care for people/residents seems to have gone out the window since all they see are $$$ signs. Sigh. If you need a place to live, you could do worse. But I will no longer recommend Creek Point to people as a good place to live unless there are changes made to the way this place is run. The office is no longer staffed--there is NO ONE on site at this place. Everyone knows this and lately we've had a lot of trouble with thefts, car break-ins, etc. (no cameras on the property either--NONE). Once you move in and they've got your money, it very much feels like you're on your own at Creek Point. God help you if you're ever locked out of your apartment or have any other issue, because nobody will answer the phone and of course there's no one on site to help. This isn't the kind of experience that would make a reasonable person want to live/stay here, and it isn't how things used to be here. I strongly advise whoever is in charge "up the chain" to wake up and actually "invest" (ha) in residents' welfare. However, I doubt they will change anything until they start seeing hits to their bottom line as more people leave/choose other places to live. I would tell my friends to look elsewhere.

Hi Kat, We appreciate your feedback regarding the office and staffing. As you know there is a shortage of staffing nationwide and our industry is no exception. We do have a manager at Creek Point, however there are occasions that coverage is needed at other locations. The office is checked daily, along with phone messages and there are afterhours emergency services that can be reached. Please call 866-757-4824 to leave a message or to get immediate assistance for emergencies. We are always hiring and if you know anyone who is looking for a rewarding career in multifamily industry we welcome their application at IPGliving.com. Please be sure to have them mention your name for the referral. Thank you and we look forward to your continued residency and any referrals for employment at IPG. Just moved in recently. Wendy in front office in charge of building and leasing is extremely efficient and accommodating. The building is quiet and the neighbors are nice. The best thing about the property is the location. Walgreens is a few blocks away and the Knollwood mall which includes cub, aldys Tj max and panaros are in the mall. All things be equal so far it’s been a good experience and hope it continues:
Very pieceful and quiet place to live, I love living here but do have some issues - 1. If you desire to live here don't say it's OK to live in any apartment because not all have a view, like mine is nothing but the view of trees, 2. Not all have a balcony so make sure if you want one to ask for it because all I have is a large window 3. The 1 bedroom apartment is big but the bedroom is small and the bathroom is too big 4. The elevator is smaller then most and weird shaped but it works good, After all I do give this place a 4 star reading, it's much better then the last place I lived in and I love the quiet, I am a city girl but I love it here in the subs.
I question the veracity of the 5 - star reviews below. I will preface my statements with: I lived there for 2 years never had any issue raised and rent was paid on time or before. All Facts: Lived there for 2 years had my rent raised 3 times (they start you cheap but get you once you've moved in). Fire alarms constantly getting pulled Saturday morning by pranksters. For separate issues police showed up at least twice. Had a hit and run on my car overnight in the parking lot. Management group offered no assistance with that. The garage is moldy and whatever that stuff is on the ceiling falls all over your car. LOTS of bugs from the wooded area get in your apartment during the summer. In the winter the top floors are 100 degrees, the bottom floors are barely heated - had to buy 2 space heaters. Manager - Janet is rude and will track the amount of packages you get, making weird stalkerish comments. She's also weirdly full of herself and will try to be condescending and tell you how much experience she has in commercial real estate given half an opportunity. Gave them 2 months head notice that I was moving out but after 2 years of on-time rent and zero issues - wasn't allowed to pick my own move-out date. Was denied a walk through on move out (they don't let you do final inspection with them) and then lo and behold they dinged me $400 for a 'carpet replacement'. I had my apartment professionally cleaned every month. Really shady business, really shady management group, neighborhood isn't great. Can't recommend - renter's beware.
My efficiency apartment really worked out well for me. In today's apartment marketplace, this place delivers a lot for the money they charge. They've done a good job of renting to good people. Janet, the manager, was exceptional in a number of ways including her professionalism, experience, intelligence, and common sense. Some managers are full of themselves; Janet was the opposite of that. I loved living by the Minnehaha Creek, both summer and winter. The underground parking, laundry room and the "party room" were all more than adequate, especially the big, clean, well-lit laundry room. An amazing number of restaurants and stores, including Target and Cub, are close by. I can recommend Creek Point Apts without reservation.
I lived here for more than 3 years and I never faced any issue. The management is very prompt in addressing service requests and the resident manager (Janet) is very helpful. I will recommend this to anyone looking for a good value for their money.
This was my first apartment and I'm glad I chose creek point! Management switched in the middle of my lease and she's absolutely amazing and really cares about her residents! I needed locks changed due to a safety issue and a couple hours later I had new locks! Maintenance has been wonderful too they've fixed everything right away! I saw a complaint about wifi but it works great for me..never had an issue and I use it constantly since I am at home all day everyday with my daughter! Everyone that lives here is quiet, respectful, and nice!!
I lived at this apartment thinking it would be a great deal. I quickly learned that the management is apathetic towards repairs. It took 3 years for them to repair the rusted railings on the balcony. They include "free" wifi, but it is so over used that it is down the majority of the time and the access points are overloaded. You will end up getting your own internet like most of the residents do...so factor that in when you move in. The elevator is down about every weekend, but they will not come to repair it on the weekends. The owner also drives like a maniac. He will come speeding into the parking lot every am about 8 am in his huge black truck...and will almost hit about every resident, then he will park in a angle that makes it near impossible to get into your vehicle. Just look elsewhere....
Conveniently located a block from Blake Road and bus stop. New restaurants just opened nearby, close to Target, Knollwood Mall, and Cub Foods. Still, overlooks beautiful Minnehaha Creek to the west, I can hear the ducks and geese with my window open. Downtown Hopkins is not far. Well maintained, no issues with maintenance, quiet building. The office staff are helpful and friendly.
I have lived here for three months now. It's a lovely place to live. I have a huge porch which looks into trees and the Minnehaha Creek. The building is tucked away from Hwy 7 enough that it isn't noisy, but it has the convenience of being close to Knollwood, Target, Cub Foods, etc. My appliances work well and are relatively new. It is a cement building, which I picked intentionally, so as to not deal with the "paper thin wall phenomenon" and it was a great choice. It is very quiet. The people that live here are generally quiet (I hear a kid crying every now and again) and respectful. There is the opportunity for heated underground parking, package receiving at the office, 24 hour laundry facility with multiple machines. My experience with management has been overwhelmingly positive. Granted, I haven't had any maintenance needs, so I can't comment on that process, but smaller needs (signing me up for the underground parking garage, the moving in/lease signing process) have been met without any drama. I rated everything a "4" only because I haven't been here long enough. But the quality of living I'm experiencing for what I'm paying in rent makes me very satisfied. If it continues, I doubt I will move until I buy a house.
I have lived in a one-bedroom apartment at Creek Point since August and so far, I am very happy with it. Overall, the building is pretty clean and well-kept. Maintenance has been responsive to any problems and/or questions, although I can't say that I've had too many issues with my unit. There are a variety of shops, grocery stores, and restaurants in the surrounding area and I love being so close to a bike trail. If you're looking for a quiet apartment at a reasonable price, Creek Point is a great option.
Lived here for 4 years and loved it. Quiet and comfortable. Also, close to Knollwood mall and some great places to eat.
