Hi, thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts here. We appreciate the wonderful things you've said about Creekside 121. If you think of anything we can do to make your time here even better, please let us know.
I could not actually live in my apartment for the 1st month I lived there as the AC was broken. They sent out maintenance to "fix" within 2 days of my request. Told me to wait a day for it to get cool. It did not. I went back and forth with them for roughly 2 weeks before I mentioned bringing in legal counsel and they actually sent someone else out to check on why it still wasn't working. They had broken the AC further when they topped it off with the wrong FREON on the initial visit. It took about another week before they could completely replace the unit. They only comped a few days of my rent on how long the issue was initially "open" in their system. Meaning that the other days I was not able to live in my apartment were not comped as officially I was still in the apartment. This was in June. Maintenance would often close requests before they were actually completed. Another example was when the bottom of a barely used drawer fell through because it was glued in. It took 2-3 weeks for them to come out and fix it. I wouldn't have much of an issue with it, except that on my side of things, they closed it out about a week into waiting for it to fix. There is a reservoir behind the property. When I initially toured, the property did a pretty good job at pest control especially near that part of the property that is near the water. I don't know if they changed providers or what but overtime, I found that my ground floor apartment was being invaded by various bugs. When they changed trash valets, trash wasn't being picked up as often, this is barring severe weather. Lots of raccoons and squirrels getting into your trash. As a couple of other reviews mentioned, you'd be required to have a sticker on your car or register your guests' cars each day, under threat of being towed. I wouldn't be as bothered by this except that there would be partying and loud music in the middle of the night on the street with guests on the regular. Management didn't seem to care. When it comes to internet, like many places, you don't get to choose your provider, however, you are paying more through the property for internet than through Spectrum directly. However, you do not get a choice on this. What the property is currently charging now, I cannot confirm. Also, management would often scold residents about using the pool too much, using the trash compactor, etc. Overall, not worth it. Though it does look like they lowered the price on my apartment so there's that.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We're truly sorry to hear about your experiences and the challenges you faced during your stay. It's clear that there were several issues that were not handled to the standard you deserve, and we deeply regret the inconvenience this has caused you. We apologize for the prolonged issues with your AC unit and the unsatisfactory response from our maintenance team. We understand how critical a functioning AC is, especially during the summer months, and it's unacceptable that it took so long to resolve. Additionally, the delay in repairing your drawer and the handling of maintenance requests were not up to our usual standards. Regarding pest control and trash collection, we're sorry these services have not met your expectations. Your feedback about the pest control provider and trash valet services will be reviewed to ensure improvements are made. We also understand your concerns about parking regulations, internet service, and the management of common areas such as the pool and trash compactor. Your comments will be taken into consideration as we work to improve the living experience for all our residents. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we're committed to addressing these issues to prevent similar occurrences in the future. If you have any further concerns or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out directly to our management team. Thank you again for your feedback.
Shadiest apartment I’ve ever been to. You have to practically beg management to send maintenance. They will tow your car if you don’t have their sticker (they get a cut of your $375 tow fee). Guests have to register for parking every 24 hours and after the 3rd visit, they have to pay $5 each time they wanna park. Trash is always overflowing and Raccoons can often be seen at night digging through bags and leaving garbage everywhere. Rent isn’t that bad but the headache of everything else isn’t worth it.

I have had to contact the management probably about 10 times each time I need something done with maintenance. I have to hound them to come. There are things that they have marked as in progress that are still not done from the time we have moved in (broken blinds) and they took 7 months to give us a mailbox door. My apartment vibrates loudly from the AC unit below us. Vibrating doors, drawers, I can't put a bowl on the counter without it clinking around. They have printers available in the lounge that do not work/ are out of ink/ are out of paper. They have guest parking spots but they will tow your guests out if they do not register (and you're only allowed 3 registrations per month per visit before they charge to park)

I am a current resident of Creekside 121 since 07/2023. DO NOT MOVE HERE! It kills me to post a bad review because of the warm welcome I received from my leasing agent when viewing this property. I’m from a completely different state and I had high hopes for this place but I have to be honest. The first night I moved in there was a flood from my laundry room The water was going through the walls. I called emergency maintenance they said someone would be out immediately. I called 15 times through out the night and was told someone was coming and no one came until the next day. The property manager Brittany came that morning to apologize for my first night going the way it went. I was ensured by the property manager Brittany that this was not the norm for this property and that I wouldn’t have any issues anymore with someone coming out to service these emergency issues. It took them days to dry the walls and weeks to come put my base boards back on. Last night 09/09/2023 I had an electrical issue while simply turning the oven on that kicked my power breaker off. I live in Texas it has been 100 degrees or more here. I called the emergency maintenance line at 9:30pm and was advised that someone would be here. After an hour i called back they said the emergency maintenance associate acknowledged the request and would be there soon. It was 11:30pm still no one. I called back to see if they could contact the property manager to see if they could put me in a corporate apartment because it’s so hot until they fixed it. I got no response from them. It is now 09/10/2023 11:00am. The next day and I am still with out electricity.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We understand how this could be frustrating to experience. Our maintenance techs have been to the unit several times to inspect why the shortages continue to happen. Our next step at this point will be to call an electrician. Please continue to reach out to me directly at the emails we have been community on. Thank you, Brittany Cimino Property Manager
This is a terrible property. The office staff does nothing about complaints. The maintenance staff won't fix repairs they just close out the online requests to make it look like they've done the work. The management doesn't confirm the maintenance work. It's an embarrassment. Management gave the maintenance staff rewards for completing a high volume of maintenance requests, but they never checked to make sure the work was done. Sad. Also, the complex allows non-residents to hang out in the parking lot playing loud music, drinking, and being offensive to residents. This happens continuously without anything being done. The police help as much as they can , but they tell us we have to rely on the office/management. Do you want to live in a place where the staff doesn't care for your safety?

We always appreciate reviews and we are sorry to hear of the challenges you have experienced. We would like to speak with you about your comments and address your concerns. Unfortunately, I'm not able to have our team reach out to you,as there is no name associated with your review. We will use your comments to help train our staff to provide better customer service. Thank you.
Nice brick buildings contrasted by many green trees and open spaces. The interior has modern, luxury fixtures and finishes. The community is quiet & peaceful with a nice pool and gym. Lots of restaurants/shops/parks and things to around the area. If you're interested in leasing the apartment. Ask for Barbara! She has been so helpful & accommodating throughout the entire process. She's also really friendly and personable so feel free to reach out to her or any other staff member. They are awesome!

Thank you for this wonderful review about our homes! We're pleased to hear that our team has been so helpful during your entire leasing process. We greatly appreciate your kind feedback, and we hope you have a great stay!
The worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. During the winter storm, they showed little to no care about tenants. I have been without water for OVER 2 weeks now, I am pregnant, and there is no getting ahold of anyone in the office. They assure you they’re working their best but instead of sending out email updates, they remind you today is “Doggie Appreciation Day” & to bring your dog to the office for a treat. Aside from that, this is by far a “luxury” apartment complex. The gate never works, the fob you’re given to get in and out of the complex never works, and your share a package room with everyone in the building which leads to your packages/mail getting stolen. I have had several packages stolen. I have only been at this apartment complex for 2 months now and will be terminating my lease early due to the awful management. I should’ve listened to the older reviews and done more research before signing.
Staff is unprofessional and does not respond to calls. Complex is filled with litter and most amenities tenants pay for are often not working or unavailable. Frequent power outages. Thefts are common due to gates not functioning and being left open.

Been living here 1 1/2, Quiet and conveniently located from everywhere I need to go, love that there is a school bus pickup/dropoff. Might renew

We're happy to hear you've enjoyed your stay with us! If there's anything we can do to make your stay even better, don't hesitate to let us know. We would love to have you stay with us for another year!
After carefully viewing several complexes in the area, I moved into Arium Creekside in February 2019. I chose Arium Creekside because of the professional staff and convenience of the area. Every time I see, a staff walking around the property they always smile and say hello. I recommend anyone to live here.
My family lived here for 9 years back when the apartments were still called Meridian. The management was different but we were comfortable and couldn't find a reason to leave. We had to move for school and lived somewhere else for a few years but eventually came back. Big mistake. The new management and feel of the apartment complex can be summarized as incompetent and unethical. Need repairs? It could take weeks to get a response and even if they do come, they don't try to fix the root problem so the issue ends up reappearing. Safety? Sure, I guess it's safe... because the gate never opens. The passcode system is never working so unless you have the gate clicker, you can't enter. This isn't ideal for people who come in and out at night. But seriously, I question how safe it is here based on how management responds to emergency situations. The staff can be nice on good days, and completely rude the next. They also aren't too keen on answering phone calls and emails. I read other reviews and I'm honestly not surprised by the one-star ratings. The staff doesn't have your best interest at heart and don't take you seriously. Gym: They recently got new equipment because the old equipment broke, but the gym was bare-bones for months. No gains :'( Pets: People sometimes don't pick up after their dog's poop :/ nastyy, but it happens to every community Out of loyalty to the apartments, I give 2 stars.
Arium Creekside is a joke. I was declined and no one could tell me why. They said I needed to call the property management company which I did. I called Carroll Management Group. They looked at the report and said they couldn't figure why I was declined because everything looked good. They said I was declined by the management in the Arium Creekside office. I hadn't even visited the property yet to meet them. I had only spoken with them on the phone because I'm relocating back the DFW area from another city. I called Arium to find out why I was declined and Julie, the office manger wouldn't speak to me, but she sure wanted to keep my $75.00 application fee without an explanation. It was handled very unprofessional. I was given some names of other apartment complexes from the staff that I should look at that were a lot nicer. I seriously question Julie's integrity. That's not good management Julie and you are completely incompetent and very unethical. I wonder what rock you crawled out from.

I was a resident from June 2017- May of 2017 and I must say the overall price and look of the apartments was very appealing. Not to mention I had to find a place quick upon relocating for work. The apartments on the outside and inside are well kept. Yet, they do use a very cheap paint in the inside so whenever you clean using something as simple as soap and water the paint will peel. Revealing the layers of previous paint they used to cover up spills and normal wear and tear. Also,I wouldn't continue to call them luxury apartments based on the surrounding properties that have been built within the past few years. Another concern as a former resident I experienced a lot of residents who would place their trash out days before the scheduled valet trash pick up. This practice attracted a lot of rodents (mice and raccoons especially) within the property and even the dumpster would fill beyond capacity and you would often see raccoons sifting through the trash. Residents also have a bad habit of not pick up after their dogs. Everywhere you turn you could see the droppings of pets and in our more common areas it caused the complex to have a foul smell, especially in the hot temperatures. It also didn't help that the complex is close to the dumpsite. When it came to safety the property did have a several complications with their gate. The back gate was always malfunctioning and the entry doors that led into the gym area was always unlocked and using the code was pointless. Lastly, the office staff, while friendly in person, have a bad practice of not answering the phone. Therefore, you are always having to stop by the office to get anything done, and this is still occurring after the management has change from Pinnacle to the Carroll group. I would honestly really read the reviews from when the property was called Meridian and search around before committing to this complex.Try driving around once the office is closed and on Sunday or Tuesday evenings right before trash pick up. I would also suggest walking around the complex for yourself so you can see the problem with the pet droppings. This is not the type of complex where just visiting once and allowing them to drive you on the golf cart will give you the full overview of what you are about to commit to. They are not the worst, but they are definitely not the best or of "luxury" like they claim.
My family & I have lived at Arium Creekside (formerly The Meridian) for a year and half now and are breaking the lease due to security. On a typical Tuesday morning around 10am, my wife heard what sounded like a gun-shot near our patio area. I thought maybe it could of been something else and we dismissed it, but the very next day we found a bullet hole through my driver side door. It was a big bullet hole and we called the Carrollton police and received a police report. Arium Creekside management and corporate offices said there is nothing they can do to get us out of our lease, that they are not responsible for security outside of the complex and if you read you contract they are not liable if anything bad that happens inside your apartment either. It's NOT SAFE LIVING HERE. It continues to get worse each day which is why we are leaving the property & paying our break out fees. The complex will not do the right thing in assisting with any of the fee's, as "Policy is Policy" & "Crime has no address", is what we were told by management. So being a current resident and soon-to-be former resident, I DO NOT RECOMMEND that anyone live here. Maintenance requests take days to be completed & they also leave their trash for you to clean up after they are done. Office personal are the worst and do not know anything about the property. We asked what size options do they have for their storage units, response was "I don't know", that is their response to everything! We put up with a lot with this complex and finding out that someone shot at my car, even if could have been an accident. My son's room was in the opposite direction of that bullet's direction. I cannot take another chance of letting crime take place outside of my apartment window! You'd think Arium Creekside would agree with this and do the right thing here, but at this point it doesn't matter. I would never recommend this place to anyone!
Newer complex, good location for traveling the metroplex, not much crime around, fit and finish was very nice. No horrible over spray, old worn carpet, stains, bad paint lines, or cheap maintenance fixes visible. Competitive rent compared to other locations nearby. Needed to move in a hurry and the leasing office hustled to make it happen. This saved me having to stay at a hotel and move twice in a week, huge thanks to the awesome ladies up front. Liked the gated aspect, although the gates have been broken and open since I moved in.
The staff is constantly changing, the management has changed twice since we have been living at The Meridian, and complaints haven't been taken as serious as before.
I've been living here for 3 months and am very happy with it. The complex is older, but well taken care of, and nothing seems to be out of place. My only complaint is that the sign to the apartment isn't lit up at night, so when I have people over at night I have to be extra detailed in my direction– Though this hasn't been a huge issue so far. When I moved into my apartment it looked like everything was brand new! The carpet looked nice and updated, the crown molding is nice and gives it some charm, and even the fixtures look nicer than a lot of other apartments in the same price range. My apartment feels very spacious, even at only 650 sq feet. That may be due to the fact that I live alone, but the good amount of cabinets and shelving really help. I have a whole wall of just shelving. It's awesome. Also, before I moved here I was a little wary of the maintenance, because I read a lot of reviews about how long some residents had to wait in order to get a request fulfilled, but I have to say– every time I submit a request, It's taken care of within a couple of days (Even when I select "routine" as opposed to "urgent")! That really goes a long way with me because it makes me feel like the people who work here actually care about their residents. My only complaint, other than the sign not being lit up at night, is I had an issue with my alarm. I reached out a few times asking to get it activated and no one ever got back with me. This is the only thing that rubbed me the wrong way, but that being said I still feel safe. I may look into it again in the future, but other than that, the apartment is lovely and I am very happy living here thus far :)
Wonderful place to live and also very close to mine Job. Very clean space place to live everyone very friendly very quite. Wonderful area store are around close to get too. Also highway to all areas. I give it Excellent rating.
At first the staff will promise you the best: a fireplace in your apartment, all gates always locked, no trash left out by other residents. What you will find is the complete opposite. Conditions have worsened under the new management with a dying landscape and dirty corridors. And don’t expect anything to be done correctly the first time by the maintenance staff. We also have problems with purse thieves holding residents at gunpoint. Save yourself the headache and stress, please rent somewhere else.
The Meridian is a pretty good property overall. The construction is older, which is actually a good thing as newer properties tend to have thinner walls and floors. Most of the noise you'll hear from your neighbors will be from outside. The courtyards inside each set of buildings are nice, although the gas grills outside the pool area are not maintained, and neighbors frequently neglect to pick up dog leavings. Maintenance has its ups and downs -- they're generally quick to respond to tickets, but consistency has been up and down over the course of my lease. The pool areas are decent, although the pool chemical balance is frequently skunky. Generally it feels like a safe property, although the side gate is regularly broken, and there were two crime reports over the course of a year. Management changed PMCs over the last year, although besides an improved online portal, I haven't seen much of a change at all. The drive through mailbox, package lockers, and front office signing for packages is a huge perk. Rent has gone up quite a bit, but that's true everywhere in the area due to the housing bubble. They may seem a bit overpriced at the moment, but everything in the area is. Overall, I've been very happy with my time at The Meridian, and I would have renewed if I weren't relocating to a different area.
Since we've moved into these apartments they have been truly a place we love and adore. The great scenery of the property is awesome. The maintenance people work really hard to keep the lawn mowed and the trash puckpipicked up around the area. This is such an upgrade from where we came from. The staff has made it a strong effort to accommodate our requests each time we have an issue with something. Were greatful to live here and its a safe place to call home.
I have lived here for the last 6 years. The first 4 were great but the last 2 years the maintenance has been horrible. Some of the pools have gotten so bad you could make sea weed smoothies with the pool water. Wasp nests are everywhere and require multiple request for removal for any action. The complex security gates hardly ever work and they mainly stay open. I would not recommend anyone living in this complex. Over priced, poorly managed and minimal maintenance by the new owners.
