Find beauty in the southwest neighborhood of Park Stockdale in Bakersfield, California, which skirts the south bank of the Kern River. Enjoy an incredible view of the city when you dine as a member of the Petroleum Club on California Avenue, with entrees such as herb-crusted salmon and artisanal dessert plates. Stockdale Fashion Plaza is also located on busy California Avenue where it intersects with Stockdale Highway. The shops here include Zumiez and Cotton On, among others. Continue east on California Avenue to reach central Bakersfield within minutes.
When you rent a Park Stockdale apartment, be sure to explore the history of the area, including the historic Stockdale Country Club, founded in 1923 by the Tevis family. Many of the exotic trees planted by Mabella Tevis still stand, such as the Italian Cypress trees at the entrance to the main clubhouse and the Monkey Puzzle tree from Burma on the golf course.

Property Ratings at Creekside Apartment Homes
Management doesn't respond to requests. Property is run down--horrible bug problem. Disrespectful maintenance staff.
Been living here for 5 yrs, its really quiet and peaceful and clean, the manager is very nice
The property is not maintained. Roofs always leak, the laundry machines are dirty and rarely work. The rent goes up every year and there are no improvements done on apartments to justify the rent going up. The manager will not give tenants the owners information. We have no idea how to get in contact with the owners.
I lived at Creekside apartments for years and I love it. I love in town next to shopping schools river walk park. It's nice big clean quite. Pets are welcome here. Apartment manager is nice understanding respectable. I love going to the pool in the summer and to the spa in the winter.
Lived here for over 4 years and the experience has been fantastic. Beautiful scenery, relatively quiet (at least if your in a back apartment like I am, fast repairs by Moses the maintenance guy, very understanding and responsive land lord in Antoinette, nice pool and spa area thats been surprisingly not overly busy allowing my wife and myself alone time in both, and incredibly reasonable rent. I've lived in a number of apartments and this has been by far the best experience. Would highly recommend.
Office hours Per the posted, good luck. It is more like 10-5 with an hour lunch break. The central facility pond system often sat stagnant and was great for attracting insects. The apartment was a good size for the value in the area. Daily trash dump divers and none were ever asked to leave. VERY uncomfortable when living nearby (hidden cameras, sure). Management requests; rarely rushed. NONE of the window screen fit so opening left plenty of space for the overly friendly nats. Earwigs were a continuous issue. Although there was monthly pest control service, no one ever treated the patio. The patio was never used except to clean away cobwebs. The patio wood was decaying. For the entire 9 months, the dishwasher did not work. I was promised a repair but always "after" the current vacancy. Upon exit, although guaranteed not to be any problems (management knew how clean I kept the apt.), was Nickeled and dimed: $75 to clean (clean!) carpets including the bedroom which was never used. Charged to clean a patio that once cleaned, would be full of pine needles and garbage from the parking lot. $$$ to clean outside windows. I could not open the windows but I will be charged to clean. Thin floors/ceilings. Management inspection for various reasons were never negotiable so rare days off were ruined. Could hear the kid running laps nightly. Not a horrible place to live but it could be so much better
Its a great location in central bakersfield, close to everything and the freeways. Its in a very quiet and safe area with not much foot traffic and almost no crime, however we do get a good amount of dumpster divers. I love the lay out of the apartment with a spacious living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. It has a good amount of storage space with closets, drawers, cabinets, and an outdoor large storage closet off the patio. The complex itself is very beautiful with a stream and ponds flowing through out the interior of the property.
