Property Ratings at Creekside At Amherst Apartments
I moved to Denver from the East Coast and am absolutely thrilled to be living here! As you can imagine, making that kind of long distance move is stressful and complicated. From the beginning, the property manager, Monica, was helpful, answered all my questions, and did everything she could to ensure that the move in was smooth. Once I arrived she was warm and welcoming, and helped me get oriented. She's a marvelous, caring person who will clearly go above and beyond to help you out. The apartment itself is amazing! It's very quiet here - I never hear anything from my neighbors. The grounds are beautifully maintained and clean. The apartment is large and has tons of closet space. The view of the adjacent creek and mountains are wonderful. It's a relaxing, friendly, clean, and safe place to live. There are 2 lovely parks right outside the apartment complex, so it's easy to walk, hike, and bike. The maintenance team is fabulous. I had a very minor issue with the closet door and they were Johnny on the spot. Thanks, Steve, for the very prompt response. Creekside at Amherst has surpassed my expectations grandly. If I could leave 10 stars I would! Kudos to the team - thanks for all of your hard work and dedication.

SKIP IS THE BEST HANDYMAN EVER. HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, HELPFUL, AND A GOOD FRIENDLY PERSON. SKIP IS ALWAYS QUICK, EFFECTIVE, AND PROFESSIONAL WITH HIS JOB. I HAD REQUESTED MAINTENANCE A PLETHORA OF TIMES, AND EACH TIME HE WOULD PERFORM THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF SERVICE. RECENTLY, MY BATHROOM VENTILATION FAN FAILED. SKIP REPLACED THE FAN AND LEFT EVERYTHING CLEAN. NOW I HAVE A PERFECTLY WORKING AIR EXHAUST. THIS TYPE OF GREAT SERVICE MAKES MY LIFE MUCH EASIER. GOD BLESS, SKIP. SINCERELY, ALEXANDER AND DANIELA.
Property Manager at Creekside At Amherst Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much! Our team is so delighted to hear that you have had such a stellar experience with our maintenance team. Our goal is to provide our residents with only top-notch customer service, so thank you for sharing your wonderful experiences with us. Creekside at Amherst
First of all, I want to praise the people in the office (Tambra & Monica) they are the nicest, most down to earth, friendliest people there are. When we were struggling to find a place they helped us get an apartment to move into. They helped us more than anyone else would. Also the maintenance people (Roman and Steven) were nice as well, when I did the walk thru and there was something that needed fixed I'd let them know and they got it fixed ASAP. I am appreciative of everyone there and our place is bigger than the previous house that we lived in. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking to live in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood.
The location is amazing and surrounded by beautiful landscape! The staff is friendly and the maintenance is always very helpful, even after hours. The floor plans are spacious and the windows are huge, providing tons of natural light. The atmosphere is quiet and homey. I love it here!!!
The apartments are well maintained. Repair issues are responded to quickly and repaired within 24 hours. The common areas are well maintained and enjoyable to walk through when going for a walk. It is on a major bus route leading to various shopping areas. The bus line then leads to various areas throughout the metro area. Marcelino C. Baca, Denver, CO
So, first I must say that I love the complex I live in. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing place to move them thisnisbthe place for you. The management staff here is amazing and are beyond friendly. The location is Awesome, the view is pretty amazing as well. Although we are trying to buy a house in the future, I must say that I am HAPPY to call this complex home until I do so. Look no more folks, this is the next place for you:)
The apartments are definitely older but the upkeep has been pretty good. The location is great with most amenities close by and easy access to the bear creek trail (its right next to it). The post-office is in walking distance and so are a number of restaurants and a 7-11 store. The management is friendly and responsive. All in all a great and affordable place to rent.
all though not the number one choice. For me it is the perfect building. Close to shopping schools Great walking path can see lots of wildlife great for nature lovers. Personal creek right outside your door. Very quiet peaceful place . Nice quiet courtyard. Small pool. All seems like your own personal space. Well taken care of. Staff here very pleasant very helpful
I love living in Denver and enjoy the feeling of living in a country setting. You can walk out of your apartment and feel the fresh air of the outdoor space, see the beautiful trees and hear the creek below. The maintenance crew takes pride in this community and the management is professional. The square footage is awesome for even today's high cost of living. You are near major intersections, convenience stores and bus lines. The perfect place to live!! Yvette L. Moreno
I love my apartment I been living here for 5 years and never had any problem with my apartment they keep a great maintenance team that are always aware that everything is properly working. I like the staff team at the office they are very friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend someone to live here we just love it
I have lived here for a few years now. The amount of space you get for your money is very good. the place is in a nice location close to several stores and walk ways. management is friendly and most of the time are very helpful. the only reason i would not give above average is the maintenance. there work awful and even after a job is marked complete don't expect it to be done.
My apartment is in a quiet, established residential area with lots of big trees, hiking and biking trails with Bear Creek flowing right beside it. This is a perfect spot for anyone who desires an active lifestyle. The grounds are well maintained. My apartment is partially underground, so it stays cool even in the heat of summer which keeps my energy bill low. In the case of a maintenance emergency, the staff was extremely fast to respond, even after hours, and remedy the problem.
I've lived here a few years. The area is great. Quiet, shady, nice lawn, by the creek and a park, etc. The apartment is older but spacious, and my only gripe is the a/c doesn't work very well in the heat of the summer (and it's really expensive to leave on). Otherwise, I've never (not once) had a nice conversation with the apartment manager. Even when she's cordial, you leave feeling uncomfortable.
The services that offer here are very good .All the employes of the apartments are very friendly and helpful. What I like most abaut this apartments is the location, Its also quiet and close to shops.
I was looking to purchase a home in the Denver area. As home and rent prices soared, I stumbled on Creekside by mistake when I got lost home shopping in a nice neighborhood. I was attracted by the very well kept grounds and placement in a clean, safe area. I viewed about 30 rental properties prior to this. I was surprised by the affordable price for such a beautiful property. What a gem! This is my new home before I purchase. I would have no problem living here for a few years!
Admittedly, I was concerned about living here at first. When I saw how low the rent was in correlation to the cleanliness and spaciousness of the unit and the complex itself, I was certain that a catch of some sort would be inevitable. As of yet, I have found no catch or qualms with regard to my current living situation. The area is nice, the neighbors are pleasant, and the staff is quite helpful. The fact that it is situated right next to a creek also makes for a tranquilly enjoyable addition to the location. Overall, if you're looking for a place in Denver with fair rates, spacious apartments, and an overall decent feel about it, this is not an opportunity to be passed up.
My toilet hasn't worked right since I moved in. I've had to let people in at night to work on the kitchen sink drains because the apartment below me keeps clogging due to old holey pipes apparently. I've had maintenance here twice because of my stove not working now it works but only the burners on the left side. Maintenance does help with your needs in a timely manner so that's great. I love the location my kids love that there is a playground. Its spacious for a two bedroom. Seems like a good neighborhood. I love that we can pay our rent online its convenient makes things easier since we have a very busy schedule.
I am very pleased with the apartment complex I live in. The area is continuously kept up to standards, cleaned outside grounds every day, and although it is only a couple blocks from a very busy street, because of the way it is all set up its always comfortable and peaceful . The apts themselves are all on the roomy side whether it be a 1, 2, or 3, bedroom. Never feel cramped at all. Maintenance workers are friendly and can solve any problems quickly and completely. There's a pool for cooling off in the hot months of summer, barbecue grills in different locations on the property, a nice clubhouse , exercise and workout room as added extras. Creekside Apartments are worth a look at for any size family, pet friendly also!
I love living here, the neighborhood is amazing, the staff is friendly, and overall a very amazing environment.
I moved into this apartment when I was 26 years old, and I'm now almost 34... And the reason why I'm still here is because I absolutely love this complex! The location is perfect, the creek behind my apartment is a beautiful feature, and it's set back just far enough off the main road that it's quiet and peaceful! Many times I have considered actually purchasing a home of my own, but I can't seem to let this one go! I'm on the third floor, west facing (I can see mountains!), and with the creek directly behind me as well as all of the large trees that line it, I feel like I live in my own little natures paradise. As far as the inside goes, I've got more closet space than anywhere I've ever lived, which I DESPERATELY needed, and everything is just the right size for me. As far as the staff goes, I have never had any issues with anyone that has ever worked here! The maintenance people have always been very kind and professional, the Leasing Office ladies have always been very kind and professional, and I actually feel like the leasing manager, who not only knows my first name, but that she actually cares about me as a tenant. If I ever needed anything fixed or if anything ever was wrong, they were very quick at making sure that it was finished ASAP. I have never had any other issues with any other tenant in my building or had any uncomfortable or bad feelings about anyone else that's ever lived around me. I have always felt well taken care of here. I always tell my friends about this complex, but they're usually full and don't have any open apartments to rent! I'm sure that it's due to the fact that the rent is affordable and the complex is in a wonderful location! So basically, I couldn't be happier ?? Thanks Creekside!!!
I have lived here for 15 years, so there have been no improvements, only increases in cost. It needs to be modernized, fresh paint, new carpet and pad, kitchen and bathroom redo. It is spacious and located well for my jobs. The management staff is outstanding.
A great rent price and a great location. Right off Bear Creek, with a 5 minute drive to Bel Mar shopping center, Southwest Plaza, and a 1 minute drive to a fine selection of small retailers and restaurants. They also allow our 50lb. dog without the typically enormous increase in deposit and rent. The facility itself is clean and neighbors are friendly. We hope to live here until we can buy a house.
Very nice and helpful staff and management that helps with any problems night and day as soon as they can. Keeps maintenance and the integrity of their buildings kept up clean and good looking. havent had any problems and have lived her 7-8 years now. A to creekside
Great location, near bike path which leads to the mountains to the West and grocery stores, shops and library to the East. Older apartment buildings, but good value. No balconies, but nice green spots through out the complex and a pool. My apartment is a spacious 2 bedroom, one with a walk-in closet and 2 bath, but small kitchen.
This apartment is a true gem. I currently live in a two bedroom apartment, it's very spacious. Central air was a huge selling point for me! The appliances all work very well. The biggest selling point for me though was the amazing staff! I have only ever had small problems, but a repair man has always been in my complex within the next day to fix it! The leasing office has always been there to answer any of my questions. Onsite storage is even provided in the basement of the leasing office! The property itself is very lovely and wooded, and backs up to an amazing biking/running path that will connect all the way to the Platt River Trail. I have nothing but positive comments to say about this complex, and have recommended it to any of my friends who are looking for a new place to live.
I've lived in the complex for 2 years now and I have to say I've enjoyed it. Its pleasant to live adjacent to the bear creek green belt, so lots of opportunity for recreation. The leasing office staff and maintenance crews have always been very helpful and kind. The apartment is spacious and quite affordable. I would definitely recommend taking a look at this property.
Its a pretty decent place to live but we're always having problems with the hot water and as much we pay here to be always having hot water problem that's not right
Living here for 5 years, for the most has been pleasant. The area is calm due to the proximity to the park and the flowing river. There has been some issues with the management with rent and mischarges that we've had to take care of and basically solve ourselves. Hot tub is no longer in existence and was filled about a year ago, so only the pool is still there but closes at 9pm as well as the gym in the summer and 24 hours when the pool is closed. Parking is by permit only and cars without the permit will be towed promptly. Close to schools and shopping and parks, over all a peaceful, good place to live
I moved into these apartments only four months ago and am so happy that I did . The ladies in the office are always helpful and nice, and I have had no problems with neighbors. I'm already considering extending my lease. It's affordable nice area nice staff and a great fit for me. :)
We have lived here for a year now and we really like the apartment itself. Lots of space for a great price plus when we resigned our lease our rent only went up by $50. The office staff is always very friendly and easy to get ahold of. Our only major complaint would be the major lack of parking. We either have to park our brand new car out on the street which I dont prefer or we park very far from our apartment. All in all we have had a decent experience here and are glad we are able to stay another year.
Really nice apartment in an attractive nicely landscaped neighborhood. The mature trees, and pretty grounds first attracted me and the direct connection to the Bear Creek Trail helped me decide to rent here. There is a pool, weight room and also a nice playground. It is quiet and safe. The staff are always responsive to my needs. The rent is quite reasonable considering the accessibility to downtown Denver.
Prices are reasonably set here, and management always responds to issues quickly and has staff and maintenance on site. The pool is clean and any grounds issues are taken care of quickly as well. I feel like I get my money's worth at this apartment!
I gave creekside at amherst apartments a 4 star rating because its very clean, they make sure that if you have any problems that needs fixed they get on it right away. Very nice staff, i have not had any problems while living here and the rooms are very big and lots of space in each room, i would recommend it to anyone. Also great neighborhood.
Image a little village, nestled in the city complete with a babbling brook. This is Creekside, the well kept lawns and the shade trees lending to its ambiance. It is deceptive in its looks, you walk in to a covered hallway and go to your apartment. Upon entering your apartment you are literally blown away by its size! No, my friend this is not a 2 bedroom with 800 square feet to fit all you own into. It is over 1000 feet!! Two full baths, a walk in closet in the master bedroom! Along with a giant living room, formal dining room and a kitchen you can create fantastic meals for your family. A front door and a back door. All with central air and heat and here is the surprise it is lower in rent than any other place in town. The staff is always caring and is genuinely concerned about keeping this one of the best places to live. They always have a smile for you. We have been here for four years and they have become an extended family to us. There are no loud parties, no druggies here just a decent place for children to play, swim and a place to call HOME!
