Property Ratings at Creekside at Arden
The Aprtment itself is ok. The high ceiling make it seem bigger but just like the other reviews, walls are paper thin and none of the apartment buildings are smoke free so if any of your neighbors smoke, your apt will stink all the time. Maintenance claims go unresolved for the most part. Just a basic place to live, no amenities, parking is ok, most neighbors are nice but loud. I suppose it is what it is for the price point. I should of spent the $200 more a month for a better place
Some ppl are allowed to have grills up against their apartment and use that grill while others cant. The favoritism is grotesque. Its against the lease to use a grill for all tenants.
I have lived at Park South for 9 months and I cannot wait until the lease is up. The owner doesn't care about his tenants as much as he does the money. Recently, 5 cars got broken into, my apartment lock as well as another's have been tampered with and nothing has been done about it. Along with the other comment you really can hear everything in the apartments so I suggest living on the top floor if you don't want to be apart of the circus above you. They may seem great as far as price and location but that definitely is not the case.
While the grounds are maintained well, the units are cheaply put together and the inside of the apartments are very outdated. Maintenance is great though and very on top of things. This is a frequent review of apartment complexes, but do not take it lightly when I say that you can hear EVERYTHING going on in adjacent units at Park South. I can hear my upstairs neighbor's every movement. I can hear when they shut doors, set something down, walk through the halls. I hear when they turn their sink on. Seriously these walls are paper thin. Thankfully I am here on an extremely short term basis. The location is also not that great unless you work in a warehouse nearby. The traffic on 191 from 4:45-6pm is stand still. And that's the only way out. And it's only one lane.
