Property Ratings at Creekstone
This apartment is great if you love brown recluse spiders inside and yellow jacket nests on your porch! You want a washer/dryer in unit? You might have that, but they’re so small that they can only hold about 1/4 of your laundry at a time. And the washer might break and flood your apartment and you’ll have to beg the office for any information or timeline on it all getting fixed. They finally fixed it? Great, but they did an awful job and there’s a nail literally holding down the carpet in the middle of your floor! You want to go for a swim? Excellent! They claim to have 2 pools but they really just have 1 and the bathroom at the pool is covered in diarrhea and has never once been cleaned. The pool will also be green and closed for about a month before officially closing for the season, so get that swimming in quick! Regular trash pick up? Maybe, but maybe not - I hope you like the view of an overflowing dumpster 50 feet from your apartment! Speaking of trash - paying monthly for a valet trash service when you can take your trash 50 feet to the dumpster is a lot of fun, and they only come 5 days a week and not on holidays or when it’s raining. Crime? It’s got that too, and no one at the complex will tell you about it, you’ll just find out on the news! Do you love having awful neighbors that you can constantly hear through the thin walls? Yep, you guessed it, they have that too! And they have the audacity to raise the rent! I have never lived somewhere as small, gross, unsafe, & unkempt as Creekstone and would never recommend this complex to anyone who values their well-being.
They did not resolve issues. The customer service was poor. They don't inform or provide information. They make changes but do not always inform the tenants.
I just moved to this community about a month ago and so far it's been great! The office staff is super helpful and the few work orders I did have were taken care of promptly. I would definitely recommend this community....and the neighbors are awesome!

As a previous tenant, i feel that it is my duty to make people aware of the black mold situation they have in their vents. make sure you check all your vents before renting here, it’s disgusting. also management was the least bit helpful and downplayed it as mildew.

FLEAS! be careful! This place from the outside doesn't look bad, and from a virtual perspective looks decent enough to live. When you actually move in you unfortunately get a whole other side. The communication of this place is poor, they do not update you on your concerns or tell you what actions they are planning to take to fix damages or concerns. When we moved in the apartment was dirty. The AC filter was never cleaned, exhaust fans were super dirty, sink handles were falling off, doors wouldnt shut, window leaks when it rains, tons of water damage that you can clearly see was patched, carpet super soiled (but stated it was cleaned before move in) , spiders (which is common in TN), floor coming apart or caving in......dog park not maintenenced and stray cats galore. Advice: Get your dog a flea and tick prevention before moving to nashville. We learned the hard way and got a flea infestation in our apartment.....awful......I would not recommend living here at all.....its not worth the price........or do a thorough walk through before choosing this apartment.....we moved from AZ so we were unable to do an in person walk through, but wouldnt have done must justice as they switched our apartment last min without informing us....after i had set up electric with the original apartment we were going to be in. Oh and one thing to note: when you tell the appliance company creekstone referred you, YOU do NOT get a discount.......Creekstone gets a referral bonus...so do not let them mislead you when they say " give them my name and you will get a discount"... LIES....

Thank you so much for considering Creekstone in your apartment search! We appreciate you highlighting Tonya for doing an amazing job and are so happy she was able to go above and beyond to help you. We hope to have you as part of our community soon!Sincerely, Creekstone Management
Let me stay off by saying that although Creekstone my not have the highest reviews or be the newest property. The customer service that I received from Tonya and Kayla was very impressionable and made me feel so very comfortable. I have visited and spoken with several properties across Nashville and creekstone offered me the best service from the first initial call to the application process to locating the perfect unit for me. What I was most impressed by was something so small. When I called the office they actually answered they phone! In my search for the perfect apartment for me one time I had been sitting outside of a property, saw that people were inside working, called the property several times and ........ no answer!! Despite the fact that they were clearly RIGHT THERE!! With the interaction that I have had with Tonya and Kayla I look forward to living in my new apartment home at Creekstone!

Literally from the office manager thru the newest maintenance member, they are the most respectful and professional team of people I could ask for. Even in the midst of the virus, being short staffed and other adversities, no matter the size of the task, they never take long to promptly and efficiently get the job done. Great community, tenants are friendly and welcoming as well as it being a crime free, generally quiet area. I’m appreciative of them if you need a reference to help you get your foot in the door and into your new apartment just Mention Ky! Thanks Creekstone

New management came in about 6 months ago and we were excited because everything appeared positive. However we've been terribly disappointed. When you speak with them they tell you exactly what you want to hear but there is no follow up action. It took 3 weeks for someone to attend to a leak in the unit which stemmed from a cracked tub in the unit upstairs that was never fixed appropriately even though the tenant had reported it. Another leak occurred a month after that resulting in water stains on the ceilings and walls of two rooms took several days to be addressed. Both times we were told de humidifiers were going to be brought in but nothing has happened except some paint was applied. We're still waiting...Who knows if there's mold in the walls as a result. We do know that there are spiders in the walls. There exterminator has been out 4 times to spray and leave traps and confessed that he has never seen so many in one apartment. Our last count was 39 recluses in the traps not including the ones we've killed outside of the traps. He did discover a whole in the wall behind the water heater that allowed you to see into the wall space and guess what? There were webs and spiders! You could also see daylight and the bushes surrounding the building. Maintenance's response was to put up a thin piece of wood(particle board) over the hole in our unit. I guess they think out of sight out of mind works. We've tried to be patient with this issue but its absolutely insane that they don't see the urgency in this. This is a matter of safety. I've almost stepped on a half dozen of these dangerous spiders not to mention the two I've found in my bed!!! The spider issue has been going on for about 4 months. We've asked to be moved and they can't accommodate. We're leaving it would be foolish to stay and jeopardize our health and safety.

Moved in about 3 weeks ago so far so good. Nikki in the leasing office has been SUPER nice and helpful during my whole moving process!!! I had a leak in my bathroom sink when I first moved in and maintenance came that same day and replaced my faucet. I’m really enjoying living here but at times the planes can get a little loud.
I have been living here for six months and am very happy! Over the past holiday weekend I had some maintenance issues in my apartment and the staff responded very quickly and resolved the problem. I recommend this community to my family and friends. Great location too with nice extras!
Lived here for 3 years. Getting ready to leave. Too many brown recluse spiders and red wasp in the summer. New management team is worse than the last bunch. Manager rarely here and doesn't care much? Maybe her schedule is why the property is a mess? Front gate is always open round the clock......doesn't really need to be there. Can be real noisy also.

New management company took over this Property in February of 2016- new management team has been in place since then and this review is not reflective of current management.

Sorry to see this tenant go. Wish we would have helped you. This was with the previous management company.
I've lived here for several years. Just keeps getting worse! Rent continually goes up with numerous other fees added on.....it all brings the rent up! Good for the owners, but the property is poorly maintained. The actual footage (especially the 1 bedrooms) is much smaller than other complexes with comparable rent? More expensive for the smaller space! And again, after numerous other management changes, it still sucks! Just waiting for lease to end!!
Property Manager at Creekstone, Responded To This Review
This review was posted under previous management company. Our rents are actually pretty stable and we constantly look to be competitive- some rents go up and some do come down. As for added fees, all fees are listed in the lease and online. If you are still a resident with us please come in and see us and we will take care of any issues you might have.
New owners that came in are awful! Slapped on paint and a roof and jacked up the rent. The grounds are hideous........very poorly maintained. Dumpster areas are always a mess. And last but not least, parking is bad! Way over priced for what you actually get. Management not so hot either. Don't seem to care much.
the rent was at reasonable price until new owners came and threw some cheap paint up and bought trash cans only to add on another twenty dollars to the rent. The air doesn't reach the master bedroom so the summer time is terrible. All of the press wood is old and falling apart. It is nowhere near close to the cost of rent!
The staff is courteous and helpful. Given the location, amenities (two pools, tennis court, fitness center), and price you can't find a better value in Nashville. It can be a bit noisy at times with neighbors and planes flying overhead, but that's to be expected with apartment living. The one bedroom units are equipped with a stacked washer/dryer and fireplace.
The rent is very low, and it is a big space for cheap rent. I like the set up of the bathrooms and kitchen, and the hardwood floors. Gated community which is nice too. The only complaint I have is that a lot of appliances were broken when we moved in (ice maker didn't work, toliet didn't flush, vents were extremely dirty, etc.) but maintenance has been very good with taking care of our issues. The lady that works in the leasing office has been SO nice and helpful.
Water is turned off all the time, maintenance argues about any fixing and more than once I've had to wait over a month for problems to be fixed no matter how many times I have called. Frequent roberts and attacks at night and rent keeps climbing. Don't make the same mistake I did.
I just moved here a month ago. So far it has been alright. I did have some initial problems when looking at the apartment. The floor plan advertised online was not what I had held for $300 dollars prior to moving to Nashville. The Toilet needed to be replaced and my kitchen stove and cabinets are pretty outdated and look beaten up. Lastly for the negatives, when I first moved in, I was seeing multiple spiders a day. I went out and got some repellant and haven't seen anything in a few weeks. Other than that though, I do have to say, the staff has been really quick to fix any complaints I've had. The area isn't bad, close to the city and tons of grocery stores, gas stations, entertainment, etc. near by. Although I do list some negatives, I think every place has its downsides. For what I pay a month, I am definitely content.
