Property Ratings at ***CREEKVIEW PROPERTIES***
I couldn't be happier with my experience living in this apartment! The property management team is outstanding—they're responsive, attentive, and always go the extra mile to ensure everything runs smoothly. Whether it's a maintenance request or general inquiries, they handle everything with professionalism and a friendly attitude. The location is another major plus! It's conveniently situated near essential amenities like grocery stores, restaurants, and public transportation, making daily life super easy. Plus, it's in a safe and peaceful neighborhood, so I always feel comfortable and secure. To top it all off, the price is very reasonable for the quality of living offered here. With such great value, it's rare to find a place that balances affordability, excellent management, and a prime location so well. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great place to call home!
I lived here as a student. The distance from campus was convenient. The apartments are great, property is really well maintained, and the amenities were also fantastic. Most of the residents are students, families, or older couples so it's generally pretty quiet. The office staff was always very accommodating.
I scheduled a showing at 2:30 the office emailed me to change it to 4 PM. They didn't tell me what apartment to meet them at so at 4:02 I was desperately scrambling. Trying to call and text to figure out where I was supposed to be. When I finally got an answer I was told there were 3 other people ahead of me and I didn't actually get my showing until 4:30 after i'd been there for 40 minutes. If you can't make a good first impression, I don't have much faith in your management skills
I've lived here over 6 years and never had a problem. It's conveniently located near everything. The rent is reasonable for good-size units with full amenities, and the units are very energy efficient too. The office staff and maintenance people are friendly and are quick to take care of any issues that may arise. Neighbors are generally working-class people who are friendly and respectful of each other's space. I have never had any noise issues with neighbors here. It is very quiet and reasonably safe to walk around the complex and the nearby streets after dark. Weekends are very quiet and nice to sit outside. Totally worth it to check it out.
A great starting apartment. Neighborhood is quiet and the building is safe. Conveniently located near all the shops and restaurants. Never had any trouble with other tenants. Was well updated when we moved in. Definitely will renew the lease!
I had only lived at this apartment for 6 months and had recently moved out. There was a lot of bugs that would crawl through the cracks of the windows because of the windows being poorly sealed by maintenance. The landlord refuses to talk to his own tenants whenever there is an issue. When living there I believe it was the month of November when my fiancé noticed that there was bedbugs and we immediately got blamed for it. Also since we left early we are now not getting our security deposit back. This place is a literal joke, I would definitely not recommend living there. Who knows what else could be wrong with the apartment that tenants aren’t telling maintenance. Such a disgrace….
The staff and location are great! Very helpful, clean apt./grounds and I appreciate all that we need is in a close proximity, easy to pay online and at stores, i enjoy the friendly, quiet community. Good value. I recommend it.
I have moved last year with my roommate and this place is awesome! Great value, spacious two bedroom updated apartment! Property maintenance is there available for us when ever we needed them. Constant improvements made! Great locations to all the stores and shops and just 10 minutes away from Rockford downtown. Definitely recommend!
Creekview Apartments are overall great. The building is in a perfect location right next to all the stores and busses. The apartments are spacious and look very nice and modern. Staff is also super friendly and maintenance fixes what needs to be fixed very quickly. I love staying here and planning to be here for next couple of years!
Maintence will walk into your unit with no warning, and when they do decide to give you warning it'll be the night before when they say they are "required" to come do electrical work. The electricity in all the buildings is awful and they frequently cut everything out for an entire day every so often for more work. Everyone on my floor gets shocked by light switches, outlets, and appliances. Dips in floors, buildings not insulated and paper thin walls. Landlord is awful to communicate with and refused to do anything when a neighbor was harassing us. We submitted after a noise complaint about them having parties going til 4-5am and they told the tenant it was us who complained and they began threatening us. Maintence has no clue what they're doing so they will frequently come back to fix things.
The management is amazing, attentive and caring. They have built a great community over the last year that is safe and fun! Love this place so much! Affords for students too!
This property has been an excellent place to live this past year! This apartment has given me some of the best times I’ve had at college. It’s close to Rockford Univesty, great location for bars and restaurants. I felt like the living arrangements of the rooms let me have my own space when it was needed. The staff is always friendly when I run into them. I would recommend that anyone give this place a shot and live here!
I looked at a couple other apartments in the area before choosing this one. It’s very similar in style and size, the location is great (grocery store, close to my work, restaurants, my gym, etc) at it’s a lot cheaper than the others I looked at. I’m very happy with my decision. I love my apartment & the location. Maintenance requests are done quickly and office staff is very kind and professional. I will continue to renew my lease.
There are a lot of cockroaches in their building, the laundry room is not working, you have to wash outside
A lot of improvements in the apartment, management is really taking care of the properties. Close to schools and all the restaurants. Nice neighborhood and many young couples. Really enjoying staying here and I would definitely renew my lease for the next year!
Out of all the apartments in Rockford, I would definitely would recommend Creekview Apartments. It is quiet, updated, well maintained! Great location, very close to Rockford University and all the shops. Definitely great experience!
Reserved a unit in this property by just seeing in the internet. On arrival to the apartment we were shocked with the condition of the units. Brick walls are chipped, stinky hallways and dirty appliances. No decent leasing office and landlord is just after the money. Stay away from this apartment. Don’t be deceived by the photos in the internet, these are not updated. It’s just a waste of money.
You get what you pay for. There is a reason this place is so reasonably priced. Landlord that never calls back, things broken constantly because they were never done right the first time. Loud music coming from cars in the area all night at times. Paper thin walls so you can hear your neighbors having conversations and literally everything else.
I moved in about a month ago and have zero complaints. The property managers care about the tenants and respond quickly. A couple loud cars throughout the night from surrounding properties has been my only inconvenience. I would recommend these units to any person/family looking for 2 bedroom apartments.
Very difficult to get a hold of, constantly have to send more than one email to get a response! The lady who showed me the apartment said I wouldn’t need credit to be approved so I paid the application fee just to get a response saying they can’t continue with my application because I don’t have any credit history.
The apartments at Creekview Apartments are very nice. The building itself is located near public transit, making it easy for anyone living here to reach the Rockford metro area. The building is also close to business district, which offers residents a great opportunity for local dinning and shopping. The location is perfect for anyone!
The staff and location are great! Very helpful, clean apt./grounds and I appreciate all that we need is in a close proximity. Easy to pay rent online , I enjoy the friendly, quiet community. Good value. I recommend it!!!
If you are renting in the Rockford area, this is where you want to be. Clean, quiet, secure. The entire staff do everything possible to make your time here enjoyable, peaceful and without incident. They couldn't have been more accommodating. Was there 2 years and would recommend Creekview Apartments to singles, families, long and short term residents alike.
Friendly staff and anything needed is done in a quick and timely manner..we have been here over a year and all our needs have been met. The office staff and maintenance crew are all excellent

Great location to stay, close to University. No complaints about neighbors. Very friendly and attentive staff, quick response time. Definitely recommend it to the others.
Bad place to live in. Too much noises, bugs/pests, bad air/ atmosphere (smelling weed) and the landlord doesn’t care about your concerns. Bad experience ever in this place.
