Property Ratings at Creekwood Apartments
Creekwood Apartments are not reliable people. I had to keep calling them a ton of times to get something fixed. They are not friendly at all and just sit and make fun of their tenants. I have been in their office and one of the tall ladies that wear makeup is always being a smart mouth toward tenants. I definitely regret staying in this place. The place is getting more and more ran down.

Trying to rent an apartment from Creekwood Apartments was the worst rental experience I have had in my adult life. The prices advertised online for apartments are complete lies, by the time you get on their website and select your unit type the price will be vastly different and more expensive than what they originally advertised here. Quotes last a measly 48 hours and sometimes "mysteriously" disappear when you go to apply so the price changes. If you're lucky enough to get an application submitted you'll need to constantly contact their leasing team to make sure they're processing it or they might completely forget about your application and rent the unit you're applying for like they did mine. Absolute nightmare of an unprofessional experience, and blatant false advertising.

I lived here with my 5 year old and fiancé for 2 years now. Of all the negative reviews I’ve read I can tell you this has been quite the opposite of my experience. The apartments aren’t huge for sure and they do raise the rent, but the staff is very kind and helpful. I think that compared to other apartments in the area of Green Bay these are probably the most affordable, and pet friendly by far. I have my ESA, a large sized dog (75 pounds), my two cats, and fish. They are very understanding and every time I have called maintenance they were there lightening fast. The pool is beautiful. The dog park is wonderful to let my dog run without having to take time to drive her somewhere. And the work out center is nice as well. There is also a community garden and a lot of grassy spaces and trees. Every time I’ve had an issue the team in the office did their best to help me resolve It as quickly as possible.

heat is not included, place runs very small, management is unorganized. Raised my rent $30-40 more every year they asked me to renew my lease. It was like I was being punished for living there. They took more then half of my $250 security deposit for a late fee that I wasn’t reminded nor notified about, blinds that had been damaged that they seen during multiple inspections and did not fix. As well as charging me for 6.5 hours of cleaning. I cleaned and did the best I could for a place I lived for 2 years. They don’t care about you, they just want money for small overpriced, old fashioned apartments in a descent area. I don’t recommend. Huge rip off.

Arteyshia, we are sorry to see you feel this way about your residency with us. Annual rent increases are normal as apartment pricing and labor costs increase each year. If you have questions regarding your late fee or security deposit, please contact the leasing office. We most certainly do care about all of our residents and always want to ensure they are experiencing a 5-star service. For additional questions or inquiries, please contact our Residents First Manager at (414) 274-8250 or email residentsfirst@fred-inc.com. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
It took them three calls to replace the dishwasher, still doesn’t work and constantly over fills onto the kitchen floor and into the sink. Upon calling a plumber MYSELF said the plumbing must be rerouted due to the water not being able to run the route. Upon telling management done they came in and just said “yeah the dishwasher is cheap”. I reported to higher management, problem STILL not fixed and they just washed my towels and bought a roll of paper towels to clean it up, one roll of paper towels will not clean up the kitchen every time I turn the sink on! It constantly stinks of garbage due to the water, fruit flies constantly no matter how much I spray or clean the dishes or throw things away due to the sitting water. In the last month there has been three domestic calls and a methaphedamine bust! I emailed management worried for my safety, but received an email back saying they are working on it, but a week later I woke to more police cars in the parking lot. So if you don’t care for your families safety, always eat take out, never run the kitchen sink and don’t have to wash dishes. Five stars.

I've lived here going on 4 years & am hoping to finally move this coming year. My rent has been raised $20-30 every year I have lived here, I've told the office I feel like I'm being punished to live here. Like another review stated I too spent my 1st days here cleaning my apartment as it was filthy, took pictures of everything because this place will be cleaner than it was when I moved in, when I move out. I feel like the water is completely turned off without notice at least once every other month, there I have been multiple times I was showering and the water just stopped. Maintenance is eh, I have had multiple occasions where I had to make multiple requests til my issue was solved. Office staff are ok, the manager was a total witch to my mom when I 1st moved in, she's still here and not much nicer. The turnover is pretty high Ive seen easily a dozen different staff in the time I've been here. My building is quiet most of the time, got some neighbors that like to fight sometimes. Parking is a pain, I swear as many cars that are in the lot at night that many people do not actually live here. Plowing in the winter is subpar I have to shovel myself out every year. I have to walk outside to get to the laundry room, which is empty alot so yay me but 2 of the washers make my clothes smellier than when I put them in. Dryers probably need to be replaced I do 2 rounds alot because the 1st round leaves them damp....... overall it's alright location is good, close to alot. Started off good price wise but now I'm over paying. Looking forward to saying good bye

When going to the pool for the first time after moving in we weren't quite sure how to get to the pool area so we approached the office staff to point us in the right direction, after being told there was a door on the side of the building where you could put a code in to enter we told them we forgot that we needed a code and asked if they could provide it for us because our apartment building is the furthest building on Viking Dr. from the office. After telling her our address and our first and last name she raised her voice claiming we didn't live there and we couldn't lie to use the pool. When asking to have the address checked we got a snarky response of the wrong address and no attempt to ask us if it was correct. After correcting her we did not get an apology for not double checking the address in the first place before telling us she knew we didn't live at Creekwood or for being rude. We did get the door code but only to leave feeling very unwelcomed and dissapointed in the lack of customer service.

They always took forever to fix things and when they finally did get around to it they didn't do a very good job. And no, like another person wrote in a different review, they do not re-carpet like they tell everyone they do. I knew a lot of other people that lived there and when they moved in they found things like hair ties, sewing needles, bobby pins, etc. stuck in the carpeting. We saw many tenants come and go around us and never once did they pull up any carpeting. They lie about everything. We kept questioning why our rent kept going UP and UP and UP (which seems to be the biggest reason people don't stay there long) and they could never keep their story straight, they always had a different story.

I moved in here with my girlfriend in 2014 and we renewed our lease in May. Nice area close to the highway or mall. Our rent went up in 2015 due to "pet deposit". If you have animals you are only allowed to have two animals and it's extra rent each month. On the plus side you have a pool in the summer and free breakfast every morning!

I have bugs. All the time in the warmer months! I have contacted management four times since June, and they haven't even come to look how they might be getting in. Beetles, moths, and even bees and wasps have gotten INSIDE my apartment. I've told them where the wasps nest are located outside, they came once, killed one nest, and ignored all the others. And one thing i think was unique to my apartment and you probably wont have a problem with, when i first moved in i got stabbed in the foot 4 times by 4 different sewing needles that were stuck in the floor. Maintenance says they re-carpet every time someone moves out but i cant imagine that maintenance needs sewing needles to re-carpet the floor. One more thing, the cops are always here! Since i have lived here i have woken up in the middle of the night to 3 domestic dispute calls, and one noise complaint at 3am, where the officer was pounding on the door to the upstairs apartment. And at least 3 times i have seen the police here in the middle of the day for drug related happenings.

I have lived in these apartments for the last 2.5 years. There is a pool on the complex, never has it been "too full". Maintenance is on call 24x7x365 but I have only ever had to call them 2 times. Apartments property itself is well maintained, easy access to all buildings and plenty of parking. Nestled between the Austin Straubel Airport and Hwy 41, you don't really hear any noise at all. I'm happy to be living here.

When we first moved in, the staff didn't even check to see if our electricity was working (which is wasn't obviously). They claimed the people before us turned off the electricity. Also, because of this, they said they had to clean in the dark. Which if you know anything about cleaning, it is not possible to do in the dark unless you're vacuuming a floor with a light on the vacuum. Needless to say, there was grease and food residue in between the stove and the side counters, the bath tub was disgusting from just not being bleached or cleaned, and the whole place smelt like smoke. My wife spent the first two days cleaning the entire apartment, and when we brought this up to the staff they just apologized. Also, in the laundry room there are supposed to be 4 washers and 3 driers. We moved in June of 2014, and told the maintenance staff that one of the driers was out. 6 months later, we told them again because they never came to fix it, and it's impossible to get laundry done with only 2 driers when a whole building shares them. Finally, they came to "fix" it, but didn't even bother to see if it worked after the so-called fix it because it is still not working today. The hallways are always a mess. And granted it is now winter, the hallways were a mess in the summer and spring as well. The price for our 2 bedroom apartment is not even worth it. So many people have come in to visit us, and they all say that we over pay for the size. The bathroom size is the biggest joke. We had to build our own storage just to have room for towels. Also, the kitchen when we moved in was the poorest excuse for a kitchen that I have ever witnessed. The wrapping on the cabinets is coming off on the edges, and there was a fowl stench coming from the garbage disposal. The fowl stench was from a fish bone wrapped in a sock. Which tells me the staff didn't bother to clean that either. There are so many more complaints that I could type out, but I have already written a novel. Don't waste your money folks.

Apartments are on the small side but you aren't paying very much. I am bothered by the fact that recommend you use their online to make payments and such. When, not if, they lose your rent payment it is up to you to prove you paid it. The office staff wasn't very helpful in fixing the issue. It would seem there is only one person at the whole office that can help. As of now, still waiting for it to be found. Good thing I keep good records and make copies of everything. I will be handing my rent check to some one in the office and getting confirmation of payment from now on!

This apartment is decent for the price, but not much space. The kitchen is very small, but has lots of cabinet space to make up for it. Also, we are enjoying the nice closet space; it helps make up for the small apartment. They allow pets at an additional fee. Some neighbors are great, while others are annoying and fail to pick up their dog's remnants. I have had great experiences with both the office staff and the maintenance man. The laundry room is not up to par, which is the biggest con you will hear. The location is great and close to shopping centers and the mall (Gas station is 1 minute down the road, Festival and Walmart are only a 6 minute drive away in De Pere). Basically, if you are looking for a low cost apartment that allows dogs and is close to the "main strip" of Green Bay, this is the place for you. No bells and whistles, just a decent place to live.

My boyfriend, roommate and I applied for a 2 bedroom apartment. We were told that all we need to be approved was a cosigner that made a very unrealistic and ridiculous amount of money. When we were unable to find a co signer we returned to get our money back. The man that we talked to was very disrespectful. Nobody was raising their voice, nobody was yelling. He told me to calm down and wouldn't let me talk. I don't recommend this place to anyone. EVER. Every other person we talked to was nice and respectful and we had no problem Just this one man ruined it for me.

Every year they raise the rent significantly. Expect high utilities because nothing is very well made here. I get smoke through my kitchen from the next apartment. The hallways are kept somewhat clean but we've had birds that get trapped in the hallway and leave nasty surprises. The air conditioner and dishwasher are ancient, high energy consumption and poor quality of results. The hot water lasts only five minutes at most. The shower water drizzles. The best part of living here has been the location with pine trees but this fall they started cutting a bunch of them down.

The grounds and the apartments are kept up well, all the staff is incredibly friendly, and are very helpful. The apartments are small with normal wear and tear, and while the appliances may not be brand new they are clean and work very well. The buildings are quiet, and neighbors nice yet respectful. My only complaint is the entrance to some of the buildings don't have doors, just stairs to the various apartments.
