There is not enough parking spaces for residents, I have to park in the visitor parking for months now. They take too long to fix things around The Creole on Yorktown apartment complex. We have Roach infestation. Many people smoke in and outside their apartments. If you have asthma or any respiratory condition this is not the place to live. I have been battling asthma and allergies more since I live here. I am not renewing my contract.

If you are planning to rent here, and you have a vehicle, don't rent here. The property does NOT provide you with an assigned parking spot, there's an area, but with the amount of residents with multiple vehicles, there's not enough parking spaces

Creole on Yorktown is my first apartment I’ve lived at on my own. The office staff really help me feel informed about the community with their emails they regularly send out. The maintenance staff are always fast and helpful. The community is safer than most and all of my neighbors are kind and have become my friends. Which is exactly what I needed for my first time living alone. It really feels like home at Creole on Yorktown!

Honestly horrible so many things in my apartment came broken and they won't fix it even though I put in multiple work orders, the workers are rude and not helpful I would not recommend living here at all!

The Creole on Yorktown apartment are a ok place to live, I really like the beautiful landscaping and community. Someone needs to fix the laundry rooms, the washing and dryers need detailed cleaning, many of the machines are out of order. electricity problem. The apartment complex has water issues, sometimes no water, brown water comes through the pipes. water bills are really high. We pay more than we consume.

Old buildings. Beautiful property. Needs a lot of maintenance. There are minor plumbing and, electrical issues. Maintenance tries to resolve but are not really given the tools to properly address.

The Creole at Yorktown apartments are ok place to live if you patience and in need of a place beware of the noises, the apartment are not soundproof, so you can hear your neighbors every move. the apartments complex have a good amount of issues starting with the electrical issues, constant weed smells, decayed smells, rats. sewer water backups. The washing machines are often broken and dirty. Tenants are usually overcharge for the water bills, trash, sewer, and natural gas. The apartment also need to improve their security, to many strange people coming and going into the apartment complex. one reason many people move there is because the beautiful landscaping of the trees and plants.

The Creole offers a chill like vibe near the Galleria. I love the lush trees and plants around our property. I also enjoy the amazing treats and events that the Leasoing team offers. For Mothers Day this year I had a yummy cake and soft cookie; it made my day!

The Creole at Yorktown has quite a bit to offer from plenty of closet space to nice neighbors. There is some construction going on in many patios and parking garages. The washrooms and gates could use some TLC, but it is manageable. The floors in the apartment building’s hallways require more frequent cleaning and do get slippery when enough moisture accumulates.

Creole on Yorktown is a great community to live at. Just a block away from The Galleria mall and many restaurants is a great place to be living in. Maintenance team always doing their best to keep the grounds clean, fixing issues such as plumbing, appliance issues, and great communication with the office staff.

Its ok, management recently changed so it is slowly getting worse. Does not keep up with property maintenence anymore and many car thefts. Tires and gas are stolen very frequently. No roach problem, but laundry is very annoying and they keep raising prices of machines when you can't even access the room until laundry employees finish and all laundry rooms have bad smell. Good staff they fix things when you call right away, parking is the worst here. Only give you one assigned space and visitor parking is hell.

While this is an older property I feel the staff keeps things in good working order and the beautiful grounds well maintained. My only complaint is the plethora of speed bumps!!

The Creole on Yorktown is conventiently located in the shadow of the Galleria. Great biking in and around the Galleria all the way into downtown. Great sidewalks for walking. Beautiful Tanglewood neighborhood just across San Felipe great for walking and seeing Christmas lights. Only twelve minutes to Downtown Houston via Woodway/Memorial Drive - stay off the interstate. We feel safe in Creole apartments. The staff is friendly and are excellent listeners. Excellent value for people who want to be close to the city life but cannot afford million dollar homes.

Tenants are getting progressively louder and less considerate. Complaints about said tenants go unheard. Apartments are just outdated and old with many underlying, unfixable issues such as being impossible to cool during the summer or smoke coming through the A/C from people grilling on balconies. I am happy to be leaving in May. Maintenance crew is one of the last redeeming qualities of the Creole as they are on point. If the apartments were newer/updated the price would be worth it.

I stumbled upon this property and found it to be exactly what I needed. My favorite thing about it is the landscape and lush foliage. Secondly, my apartment has lots of storage, two closets and the bay window in my living room. I love having a place to workout, host events and relax by the pool! I can’t wait for summer. The communication is top notch. My neighbors are quiet, friendly and low-key. I think I will be here until I move into my tiny home ?? If you’re looking for a really nice place in a great part of town… this is it!

After living here for almost 2 years, I would not recommend this place to anyone. NOISE – Inconsiderate, antagonistic neighbors, continually awakened at night, music blaring early in the morning, sometimes all day, at night. Mgmt. refuses to address the issue. OFFICE STAFF – Attitude is terrible unless you want to rent an apartment. It quickly changes once you move in, staff is unhelpful, Join the Citizen app if you want to find out what goes on in the complex. Nothing is communicated. GROUNDS – Be careful where you step, No one picks up after their dogs TRASH- I had a neighbor that would throw his over the railing to the ground below. It sat there for 3 weeks, another trash can sat out for about a week before someone dumped the contents on the sidewalk. LAUNDRY FACILITIES – Washing machines constantly out of order, and in filthy condition, caked with goop, lint and dryer sheets are disposed of on the floor instead of the trash can HOMELESS PEOPLE–We’ve had several that have tried to make the complex their home, they got into the clubhouse and slept there, out by the back pool and buildings OVERALL LOOK – Facades of buildings in disrepair, dilapidated louvered panels on windows and balconies falling down and coming apart, window screens torn and laying on the ground CONSTRUCTION – Early May pieces of soffit were cut out on approx. 100 or so patios looking for wood rot, it is now end of Sept. By all appearances, this project has been abandoned in favor of a few less vital cosmetic projects, DRUG USE – In walking by the back pool, saw 2 guys rolling joints at the pool, you can smell pot in the walkways MAINTENANCE – Had a broken window in my bedroom and was told “it was not broken bad enough to replace” My oven would not turn off, maintenance told me “Why don’t we just wait and see if anything happens next time” I asked to have it replaced and he closed the ticket out and went about his business. It is generally not a pleasant experience when maintenance comes out as they would rather talk you out of whatever it is they should be doing.

I wouldn’t recommend moving to The Creole, management could be better, maintenance is okay but the apartments aren’t worth what the prices are. They need to be renovated & upgraded, I’ve been here about 7 months & have had many issues with my fridge, stove & in the bathroom. Also air ducts are disgusting & I’m pretty certain there is mold in here. Also, there’s always broken machines in the laundry mats. With these prices there should be a washer & dryer in the units. Definitely won’t be renewing our lease.

So the biggest issue I have with the Creole in my moving experience is that my spouse and I were told a rate at the beginning of the process prior applying but while in the process of applying the rate was higher by over $200 when the rate was verbally confirmed from Zach and Johnny at a lower rate. That was the most disappointing factor on top of horrible communications by all staff member.
