Property Ratings at Crescent Apartment Homes
I was moving here from out of state. I did a virtual tour with my agent and it was great. I filled out the application and got no response. Time went by and it was now a week till I made my Roadtrip to move and she had apparently gone out of town and did not tell me. Rather than someone else taking over talking to me, everyone waited till my leasing agent got back. It was finalized I had a place to live the morning I had my road trip. So stressful to start… It was super spacious and I loved that. Hot water was good. Dishwasher looked like it had melted some inside, but everything worked besides a few lights that were out, some doors that were a little too snug, and the sliding screen door that wouldn’t latch. I told maintenance about the issues, hardly ever a response back. They did come into my apartment without notification. I only knew they had been there because a light had been changed and my door was smoother to close. As a young female, I find it extremely unsettling that my roommate nor I were notified they were coming nor were left a note stating they had come in. My catalytic converter also got stolen within a month of moving in. Another item of mine got stolen outside my front door the following month. My first two police reports within two months of living there. My experience ended with mold in the vents. I kept emailing and calling for it to be fixed with little to no response. Eventually they said they were just waiting for me to move out before they fixed it. I had another month living in mold, so I moved out early. They then said my roommate and I did not return all our keys, which was not true. We were so done with them by this point we just took what was left of our deposit and ran. Office staff was very nice, but communication was not fluid. It’s not well lit and car theft is common. We got a letter from the sherif reminding everyone not to leave things in their cars. Ultimately, the mold, lack of communication, and safety issues are why I will not return.

I have only been here a month and it's been amazing! I currently live in a 1 bed 1 bath unit on the third floor. Some pros to living here. (In my opinion) -Units are well built so you don't hear much noise -Easy to pay rent through their new mobile app -Staff is VERY friendly, especially Indiana, she cares a bunch about the tenants here. -The complex is a quiet and safe environment -The location is perfect, it's close to 87th and I435 -Maintenance is amazing and they fix stuff quickly -My unit had a new carpet installed right before I moved in. They also worked on my AC so it works amazing! (My friend who also lives here did not get new carpet/AC so it just depends on when you move in and what unit. I believe that they are working to update all units soon. ) -Most units have a big porch! And a nice storage closet. -My unit has a very spacious bathroom and big bathtub. -My unit also has high ceilings with crown molding. Definitely more pros than cons but if I had to list any. - Sometimes there isn't parking, might be because people have company over. You're limit to 2 cars per unit. -Had a hard time getting in touch with my leasing agent several times. I had some unanswered emails. Thankfully got in contact with Indiana and she quickly answered any of my questions. This was my first time moving into an apartment and I did not have enough credit built up to normally sign a lease. Thankfully, my leasing agent worked with me to get me into my first place so I could build more credit! I love it here and would recommend it to anyone!

Lived here for a little over a year. A/C breaks multiple times every summer. This is the second time its broken this week. They never actually fix the problem. I would advise finding somewhere else to live. The staff is nice but not have a/c throughout the summer is a problem. Obviously they dont care enough to pay to fix the issues.

Before moving to Lenexa I did some extensive research on apartments in the area and visited 6 before I landed on Crescent. I've been living here for about a year now and have nothing but great things to say. Great location, right off of 435. Maintenance is super fast (Chris, the maintenance guy, is sweet and very considerate). The complex is quite, which is nice because I work late and get up early. The staff is always nice and responsive. My apartment is big with a huge closet. Overall, I'm glad I chose to live at Crescent and would recommend it to anybody looking.
I am writing this to express my sincere appreciation in regard to a recent experience I had with the staff at Crescent Apartments. I have lived here for several years, but recently during a very busy time at office, the staff was considerate of my needs and provided good customer service. It is not always possible to receive good customer service during busy times. Ms. Denger did and I appreciate it.
Hey , I've lived here for about a year. This is an average apartment complex here are the reasons why: GOOD -The Staff are good at addressing issues and helpful. -The maintenance of the property is very good. -They address apartment issues quickly. -Close to grocery stores, pharmacies , gas stations and Highways OKAY -The Apartments are okay, the apartment is very dated. BAD -The HVAC system is terrible. you'll be paying way too much for regular utilities. -Rent is expensive for what you get, unless you get some sort of work discount. -If you live on the 3rd floor, you better not skip leg day, no elevators to help you pick up those groceries, luggage or fat in-laws I hope this helps Regards,
