Lochmere is quickly becoming one of the most popular neighborhoods in Cary. Beautiful landscaping, ample parks, and scenic lakes create a stunning backdrop for residents. Commuters appreciate easy travels into Downtown Cary and Downtown Raleigh, located about 10 miles east of town. Families are fond of the strong school system, the two community pools, and the large parks in the neighborhood. The Lochmere Golf Club is a major attraction in the neighborhood, and Swift Creek and the Swift Creek Nature Preserve provide hiking and birdwatching opportunities. At Harold D. Ritter Park, you’ll discover a sand area, a climbing wall, ball field, playground, and picnic areas.

Property Ratings at Crescent Arbors Apartment Homes
These apartments are old. The appliances are old; the paint is just terrible. The sliding glass doors are single pane which brings in very cold air in the winter, my utility bill in the winter has been $150. They pay for water but the water tank is so small that you can’t wash dishes and take a shower at the same time. No programmable thermostat; I have lived here for 2 years and they are raising rates but yet have no fitness facility; for what you can pay here you can find a newer apartment for just a little more. It wouldn’t be bad if they offered an up grade in the apartments; the only good thing is the shopping area.

Hi there. Due to the anonymity of this review, we are unable to identify you as a resident. Any residents that joined our community post 2010 would be in an non upgraded apartment due to the timeline of our renovations. We pride ourselves on open communication with our residents as we are always looking for ways to improve their experience within our community. We invite you to stop by our office so we properly can address any and all concerns you may have, in the most efficient way possible. Thank you and we hope to hear from you promptly!
I can’t say enough about these apartments. I am going on 3 years and I love it here. My neighbors are great and the place is quiet; office staff is friendly and professional and maintenance comes when you request them though I have never needed them. The apartments are in a great location with plenty of shopping. I can’t tell you how much you will love it here.

Thank you, It means so much to our team to know you find our efforts to be worthy of a full five stars, and we truly appreciate the time you've taken to recognize our hard work, as well as our beautiful community here at Crescent Arbors. Thanks again, and should you ever have any questions or concerns, you're always welcome to pay us a visit here at the office. We'd be happy to help you!
The special qualities that made Crescent Arbors stand out in the past are slipping. Leasing office employees used to deliver impeccable customer service however lately don't seem to care about residents' satisfaction. After many years here I and other old-timers are moving on. Management cuts corners on exterminator services, resulting in units infested with roaches, carpenter bees, ants and centipedes. I know of 2 residents awakened by roaches crawling on them in their beds. Mold is another issue dismissed by management. Fitness Connection gym membership has been discontinued; website needs updating. Pool hours, previously 10am to dusk are shortened to 10am-5pm weekdays and 1-5 Sundays meaning working residents have limited weekend hours and no chance for evening weekday swims. A disruptive resident is allowed to continue living here despite frequent police and ambulance calls. In spite of COVID restrictions lifting, management refuses to open the business office/clubhouse since closing it in March. The nice touches such as free coffee/Internet and gathering space for book club and other activities are gone. Management selectively enforces the "no guest" and "no floaties" COVID swim policy; some residents are allowed to bring grandchildren to swim with toys while other residents are not allowed guests. Alot of recent turn-over; new residents are smoking on their decks in violation of the no-smoking policy. Trespassers are using the car wash center and trash bins; management has threatened to put in cameras however has not taken action. The leasing office employees need to stop hiding behind their closed doors and pay attention to what is happening to make this community go downhill.
We've been here for 3 yrs. and are renewing our lease for another year. I've looked at other places and despite their being newer, I prefer the atmosphere at Crescent Arbors. The beautiful trees sold me on the place, along w/the vaulted ceilings. The 2 bedrooms are spacious and the way they're situated, one located on one side of the apt. and the other on the opposite gives occupants of a 2 bedroom unit their individual privacy, noise doesn't carry from one bedroom to the other, either. We've had very few problems and when we've had anything come up, maintenance is quick to respond, always within 24 hours. The manager and office staff are very helpful and easy to deal with whenever any issues may arise. The location is perfect for quick access to shopping and highways, yet being set back among the tree lined streets, you're feel as if your miles away from any noise factors. We're looking forward to another year at Crescent Arbors.

We highly recommend Crescent Arbors Apartments. They are conveniently located near lots of stores, restaurants, medical facilities, and service centers. The upscale apartments are clean and well maintained. The tennis court, free car wash, pool, and fire pit make a welcoming place to enjoy. The staff is exceptional! They are pleasant, professional, and very accommodating. There's plenty of parking and garages. Again, we highly recommend Crescent Arbors apartments!

Thank you for the detailed and honest feedback! We make every effort to provide the highest living experience to our community and invite you to continue sharing your thoughts and suggestions. We love to hear from our residents! - The Team at Crescent Arbors Apartments
Crescent arbors is clean and quiet. It is not as pet friendly as claimed. There are no pet clean up stations at the complex and there are no plans to get them. There is a significant ant issue and ants would fill the apartment and even our cars after it rained. Not nearly as many amenities as you can get elsewhere for the same price. Most of the office staff is rude.
One of the first things that attracted me to Crescent Arbors was the trees. They surround and enhance the views from every single apartment and give the community a secluded, private feel. Nothing could be further from the truth of course. I am within walking distance of my bank, Whole Foods, Harris Teeter, Walmart and a variety of other shops and restaurants. Now for more practical things. I have lived at Crescent Arbors for a little over two years now. The complex is quiet (love that I can actually sleep through the night), well maintained and smoke free. You will find the residents are friendly (most have pets whom you will also get to know), the apartments are spacious, and a free gym membership comes with every lease. The one thing that concerned me when I first looked at the community was cost. At first I thought Crescent Arbors was pricey. Then I started visiting other complexes and discovered their additional fees. These included pet rents of $20 to $30 PER month (in addition to a non-refundable pet deposit), water, "valet" trash, parking space fees, monthly washer and dryer hook-up fees (not to rent the washer and dryer, just to be allowed to have them), renter's insurance, and grounds fees. By the time they get done, you pay MORE than at Crescent Arbors and MOST of them allow smoking in their units. Bottom line is that Crescent Arbors is a lovely community with friendly residents in a part of Cary that can't be beat. You owe it to yourself to take a look!
Crescent Arbors are fabulous. The grounds are beautiful, the people are friendly, and the location is exceptional. The apartment has been recently remodeled and the workmanship is great. I am glad I chose Crescent Arbors.
