Property Ratings at Crescent Cove Apartments
Recently, my family and I had a very unpleasant experience in an apartment complex that turned out to be the opposite of what we expected. At first, everything seemed promising, but we soon realized there were serious issues. One of the most frustrating aspects was the mold on the walls. Despite our efforts to keep the place clean and in good condition, humidity and mold were inevitable. When we reported it to management, their solution was simply to paint over the mold instead of addressing the problem at its source. This not only affected the air quality but also concerned us about the health of our children. As we approached the end of our lease, we encountered unpleasant surprises. We were hit with additional charges we hadn’t anticipated, and to make matters worse, we didn’t receive our deposit back even though the apartment was left in excellent condition. This lack of communication and transparency left a bad impression on our family. Our experience in that apartment was a painful lesson about the importance of researching and choosing where to live carefully. In the end, what should have been a home turned into a huge headache. We hope others can learn from our experience and avoid going through the same situation.
Mold gets really bad, we would get mold in every closet and in the laundry room. The windows are not properly installed so mold would grown on the window seals as well whenever we would notify them they would come clean the closets with Clorox or just painting over it leaving our apartment smelling like pounds of Clorox, it wouldn’t help because it would come back after a while. They will just tell you not to have nothing touching the walls that are close to the outside because that’s how mold grows. Absolutely bad management!
DO NOT MOVE HERE!! We had mold in our master bedroom it keep getting worse and worse. They came out to spray it with Clorox and wipe it down and that was it. They don’t try to fix the problem with the mold. They just let it be. DONT MOVE HERE
I moved in in August of 2022. Since living here we’ve had nothing but problems with the unit and the quality of the property. The unit was absolutely filthy upon move in. The power went out and all our food went bad due to it happening and they refused to replace it. The sink in the kitchen started leaking and was leaking black smush that reeked and they didn’t clean or replace the pipes just fixed the leak. The bathroom drain for the shower wouldn’t drain and when they came to fix it they found tons of things the old tenants left. There’s hardly any parking ever and if you want guests to come over they have to park on the street and walk. The biggest problem we had was mass amounts of mold growing in my children’s closet. They came and wiped it up with bleach and painted over it. Your bills will be so high because they are improperly insulated and they won’t replace the insulation or the windows. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. I’m doing a lease buyout and not looking back. DO NOT RENT HERE!
We loved our apartment. It’s a great price. The staff is so great. The maintenance is really wonderful. It really felt homey! Tammy and Kris are such great property managers. We just really felt at home here! Definitely recommend!
I've lived in a lot of apartments, and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had living in one. The buildings aren't that old, and yet they're in worse repair than an apartment I lived in that was built 60+ years ago. The floors were all messed up with notes from maintenance on the move in sheets about being unable to fix it because they didn't have the supplies. Not maintenance's fault, they're horribly understaffed. Dog poop absolutely EVERYWHERE. You could hear all your neighbors' arguments. Office staff unreceptive and would often just randomly close for no given reason with no heads up they were closed. Towing policy is ridiculous. Toilet bowls were literally broken when we moved in, and they tried to charge us to replace them when we moved out. Dishwasher was broken the entire time we lived there even after having maintenance over twice about it, and it was absolutely disgusting inside. Garbage carpet. Windows got so much condensation that it was literally growing mold all around them. No deadbolt for the door.
Lived there for many years. When I first moved in, it had lots of features(free basic cable, water included in rent, monthly community notices)just to name a few. After the new management took over, they cut everything out. The new management used a charge on presumed useage, for water. So even of you used less, you were charged at the presumed rate. 1 bedroom would use X amount, 2 bedroom used XX amount, 3 bedroom used XXX amount of water. If someone used more, you could see your water bill going up, even if you used less. Before I moved out, they installed lights that were 5x the brightness, and would light up your bedroom like daylight. These lights were not for the parking lot, they were to light up the space between the apartments. I would invest in other lighting sources as for some reason the power in that area goes out often. Mainly in the winter(nothing the apartments can do, but till annoying.)
Okay the good: The office management is great at responding to request and conflict management. Maintenance is great as well and responds in a timely manner. My bad experience: I recently purchased a new vehicle and brought the vehicle home at 9pm. The following morning I discovered that my car had been towed for not having a permit. I understand needing a permit as it was in the lease but my anger comes from the fact that I did not have the opportunity to go to the office to receive a permit the following morning. After paying $250 to my new vehicle out of the compound they added insult to injury by charging $5 for a new permit. The office was unsympathetic and made a condescending remark about reviewing the lease.
Overpriced and if you work night shift expect to be woke up multiple times before 10 am, they are constantly working on something the entire year I've been here and I can't tell you the amount of times I've been woke up

We apologize for your experience at Crescent Cove apartments. We appreciate your comments and will work to improve any noise issues in the future. Thank you for your tenancy.
This place was the worst apartment business that I've ever dealt with. I got sent away on OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT ORDERS during the same time that my rent was due. I notified these clowns ahead of time that payment for rent would be late because of this, but they turned around and charged me with late fees anyway EVEN THOUGH I WAS ON OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT ORDERS after they said it would be OK, and when I tried to refute the situation they simply stated that "It's not our problem" that the government payed me after the due date of payment. These guys are a bunch of greedy monsters that just want every penny out of your pocket that believe they can charge anything they want as long as people are willing to play to "live it up" in Colorado. They only had one maintenance guy on duty that had any understanding of English who had a terrible attitude towards anyone who had an incident happen and would only give his work half effort of work after making us feel like anything that happened was our fault. Don't indulge these clowns, they'll rob you for every penny you have, charging you with "updates" that don't even apply to your apartment. It's a joke.
