The Maplewood neighborhood of Rochester got its start as a park, connecting Seneca Park and Maplewood Park. Its age reflects in the large shade trees that line the city streets. Maplewood rentals range from spacious single-family dwellings to apartment homes, and locals take pride in their neighborhood’s beauty and history.
Maplewood residents take advantage of the local parks, designed by Frederick Law Olmstead. The annual Rose Festival is one of the local favorites, as are the historic homes. Many come to the park to view a professional lacrosse game at Aquinas Stadium. Neighbors meet up at the Dark Horse Café for a cup of coffee and to celebrate the idyllic small-town vibe of their community.

Property Ratings at Crescent Gardens Apartments
I have lived at Crescent Gardens for over 6yrs. and it has become my place to call home. I love my townhome and I have fabulous neighbors. There has been a positive change in the on-site Property Management over the last couple of years which has made a huge difference in everything from maintenance issues being addressed timely to the overall quality of the property and living. A fine job is being done by everyone responsible for the day to day operations and I enjoy being there. If you don't like the late fees then pay on time and/or go find a new build where everything is brand spankin new(never breaks down) and you can pay to live somewhere whenever you feel like it(you probably pay everything that way, fabulous). Maybe then you can be thankful and happy in stead of miserable.
If you don't mind leaky windows (I was actually recommend that you put plastic on in the winter they are so bad); road drains that will become sink holes at any time; repetitive maintenance issues for the same problem that staff is not capable of repairing; walls that allow outside air to leak in because they were not properly sealed from the old air conditioner; a stoop that has about a 10" rise that sucks if you are short; entry doors that are not properly sealed and allow outside air to come in even with a storm door then this is the place you will want to call home. There is no rating below "Poor" so I have to give it at least one star.

Do NOT rent from this place! The apartments are in horrible condition and the property manager is terrible. She continuously gives little notice before having people enter your apt. Last year they came into my apt 5 times for "inspections." You literally have no privacy in this complex. I would never recommend this place to anyone . You've been warned

Very nice surrounding neighborhood, maintenance people very nice however the apartments are not newly renovated. The cabinet are all old style. The management sucks, very unprofessional, late fees are ridiculous after the third day of each month.
