Incredible Historic Character - Downtown Living At It's Best! The Historic Crescent Warehouse District in downtown Davenport once anchored the city's thriving industrial trade along the Mississippi River, including several paper manufacturers, a macaroni factory and an ironworks. With the decline of industrialization in the mid-to-late 20th century, many buildings in the Crescent Warehouse District were vacated, a symbol of an economy that had passed. In 2003, 4th Street, 5th Street, Kerker, Waterloo and Davenport Lofts underwent full restoration with the ultimate goal of riverfront revitalization and renewed economic prosperity for the district. This thorough and creative historic preservation creates stunning modern living that is the Crescent Lofts community.

Located along the mighty Mississippi River, Davenport brings to mind riverboat cruises and the cool sounds of jazz. It's casinos, rolling prairie, and that famous Midwestern charm. But Davenport, nicknamed "Iowa's Front Porch," is much more than that. With a fast-growing tech industry, Davenport is the largest of the Quad Cities and one of the nation's fastest-growing areas. Sitting directly across the river from Moline, Illinois and with I-280 and I-74 flanking the city, traveling throughout the region is fast and easy.
Davenport's neighborhoods are as unique as the city itself, so be sure to explore them as you look for the ideal apartment. Some are historic, dating back to the mid-1800s, while others provide a sleek, modern feel. Whether it's the Victorian ambiance of Hamburg, the action of downtown, or the historic mansions in the Village of East Davenport, this city provides something for everyone.

Property Ratings at Crescent Lofts
Poor management. Bad neighbors. If you are over the age of 25 you aren't going to like it here. Many issues with garage. No cameras meaning if something happens to your property no one is held responsible. Worst management I've experienced. Would not recommend to single female or friends.
Just don't bother, especially if you can afford it and if you're a good tenant. Poor management and units are never available.
Crescent Lofts really can’t be beat if you’re looking for modern, well taken care of apartments within walking distance of downtown Davenport. The interior and all of the appliances are within a few years old, and my unit was pretty much spotless when we walked in. The historic buildings also give the apartments a cool unique look. Despite the high-quality living space, they are still very affordable.
This property is a historic building that is still decently up dated. Animal friendly, people friendly and plenty of variety of neighbors. Close to things to do, each apartment is a various unique set up. Pros: animal friendly Close to things to do Unique set ups Reasonable prices Cons: weekends can get noisy depending on floor Parking spaces can be hard to find depending on time of day
Cool old buildings with affordable prices in the east end of downtown. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants and bars. Great location. Great neighbors. More maintenance staff would be helpful.
Is cozy and surprisingly quiet for an apartment. Loves that laundry is one site!
