Property Ratings at Crescent Oaks
Office staff is unfriendly and never on site during posted office hours. Now they have decided to make us pay for Spectrum in our lease making it a no opt-out option whether we use it or not, without making it a rolling option at lease renewal. For the rent asked these apartments are not well maintained. There are holes everywhere both inside and outside the buildings. The patio above me is made of wood and is rotting as well as breaking away from the foundation, a major accident waiting to happen. There is water damage everywhere both inside and outside. Big black ants overrunning despite "pest control" of which I am charged for.
The community here is very quiet. It's a lovely and well kept place to live. Staff is very friendly. Maintenance is always prompt. We love living here!

Thank you for the wonderful review. We are lucky to have you as a resident! As always if you need anything at all please do not hesitate to call us. We're always happy to help.
I was all set to move in from the pics and it looks nothing like the pictures. The appliances are so outdated. The microwave had crud and a crack in it and I basically had to get nasty for them to say they would replace it. The patio feels like i would fall through and I am small. The outside is disgusting with green junk on it. No thank you....
At first glance you notice the well kept landscaping and the welcome flags on each building. The quiet neighborhood is very welcoming and on a nice day the sounds of people splashing in the sparkling pool provides great joy. The office staff is friendly and goes above and beyond for the residence and their families. We have 3 small children and have never once felt as though they were bothering her when we went in to chat. The maintenance man is top notch. We’ve only had a few issues - like lightbulbs going out, nothing major - and each time we called, he was there within a few minutes to take care of it, always with a smile on his face. The largest apartment offered is a 2 bed room 2 bathroom and you are definitely not lacking for space or storage. There is a large laundry room a linen closet right outside one bathroom and a coat closet as you walk in the door. The master bathroom is well laid out and the master closet is both spacious and well lit. At first glance the kitchen seems small, but it is laid out extremely efficiently and there is more than enough cabinet space for food and desserts dishes. The bar and the dining room provide plenty of space for dining and entertaining. Each room in the house has So much natural light that you hardly notice the lack of light fixtures. However if that is not your thing, there are ample outlets for lamps and maintenance will install light fixtures that you purchase. As a family with 3 little kids and a wife who stays home nights while her husband works 2nd shift, the neighborhood is not only quiet but peaceful and safe. The location is perfect for people on the go or with kids. Close to dining, shopping, and several parks, and right off of the interstate for added convenience. For anyone who is seeking a place to live in Graham, your first and last stop should be Crescent Oaks Apartments.
We have lived in dozens of apartments over the years. Crescent Oaks is one of the finest. Two large bedrooms and bathrooms, nice size living room, and a formal dining room. The galley kitchen is ideal for me, although many people find it too small, and I love it! Management and the handy man are wonderful. The only drawback of this beautiful complex is it is an older facility, soundproofing elements were limited. The complex has a wonderful mix of children, working couples, and seniors. Everyone is friendly but aware of each others privacy. Social interaction increases around the well kept pool in the summer when new friendships develop. We are very contented living at Crescent Oaks, Tana and John Calvert.
My husband and I lived there for a year. We lived on the ground floor and it was noticeable only because of the few little critters we would have coming in without us knowing. During the fall, we had spiders and worms that mad their way in. Often times we would see the worms moving across the ground at night. The spiders were pretty big, but that goodness they were few and far between, but enough to mention. They have an exterminator come out every week, but that didn't help for the spiders we had. The floor of the second floor apartment was VERY thin. We were often worried the people and their kids would fall through to our apartment one day. The front desk opened from 10am-5pm, which was kind of inconvenient at times, but there was only one person that maned it. That also meant that if that person was gone, or sick or not there, we were out of luck for asking questions during some of those 'available' hours. All in all not a bad place to live, neighbors were friendly enough, and it was pretty quite.
My wife and I moved into Crescent Oaks apartments in January 2015. We are both retired senior citizens. We are from N.J. but liked the Graham/Mebane area because of it's locality to so much shopping and restaurants. Crescent Oaks is located close to Interstate 40 and 85 which we also enjoy. Although the apartments could use some updating IE: dishwashers, refrigerators and cabinets. In our particular apartment we could use new windows. Our neighbor has new windows but an old kitchen like ours. The staff is great. The grounds are fantastically groomed. The buildings just got power washed. Next is tree trimming and eventually new paints on balcony's which cover our patio. I would give this 5 stars if we had new windows and updated kitchens.
