The southside of Savannah provides plenty of upscale waterfront communities conveniently located to downtown. These diverse residential districts have large lots with tree-lined roads and an old-south country setting that attracts many professionals, students, and families to the area.
Conveniently located just 10 miles from Downtown Savannah, the outer southside remains one of the six principal areas of Savannah, which also include midtown, eastside, westside, southwest and downtown. The area features a romanticized feel with elegant antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and plenty of historical landmarks. Families also enjoy the excellent school systems, active youth sports teams, and fun activities.

Property Ratings at Crescent Place Apartments
My apartment is so roomy and bright! My kitchen isn't huge, but I am able to store my dishes, appliances and food sufficiently. The living room is so spacious and I have a really big fenced in back patio! The bedrooms are really large with excellent closets and the bathroom upstairs is huge with a double vanity! I am very happy here!
Been here for 2 years and since the new management company has taken over, rent has increased by over $500 with no added features or amenities. We have extra pay for trash and pest control which should be placed into the ridiculous amount of rent everyone pays. Also a pet deposit (normal and ok) but paying a pet insurance monthly is just another bogus cost. Isn’t that what deposits are for anyhow? Takes forever for maintenance to come out even in an emergency and problem still doesn’t get fixed. People should be able to afford and enjoy where they live and since this new company they do not care about the residents, just their pockets. If places are worth it then absolutely money is ok, but not this place. I nor I’m sure other residents didn’t ask for all these upgrades (which are basically putting bandaids over everything) and being in one of the townhomes that isn’t upgraded my rent shouldn’t even be close to the “updated” ones.
I wasn’t able to find the leasing office because it is border up but I toured Spanish villa apartments with Heather and she was very informative an such a gem to meet She immediately greeted me once I came in the door and answering all of my questions making me feel like I was already at home you don’t get that anywhere else she was very polite and kind an If I could afford to live here by myself I woulda applied and moved in that day! I was so surprised these are beautiful renovated units!
Please turn away from these apartments, Spanish villa is over priced the only good about these apartments is the square feet but with they cheap appliances and low budget flooring and paper thin walls id tread lightly Since the new owners all we have been dealing with it ugly and slow remodeling, it's been months and no gym just another abandoned project. Parking spaces arent painted, dirt and huge rocks cover the road. Plumping is crap and they love to charge you with out you knowing. GREEN POOL they are TOO LAZY FOR UP KEEP. The company will loose more money on buying rocks and plumbing before giving residents proper amenities. Cheap dog park, the developing neighborhoods have decent dog parks. NO place for kids to actually play!!! They are more concerned with legality than making residents happy. Also, the place is NOT SAFE, it is hazardous !!! Just stay away the schools in the are is crap if you have kids and dignity don't live here, I'm just waiting on my lease to end.
I like my apartment itself. It's a good size and is in decent repair (the washer and dryer hookups are on opposite sides of the bottom floor of the townhomes though, which is a little odd). But a cooperate management company bought the complex at the beginning of the year, removed a large portion of the landscaping, filled the greenspace in our back patio area with gravel and called it "decorative stone", jacked up the rent for the new lease 50% (and I don't trust that they won't jack it up again next year too), and on top off that are making us pay a monthly trash removal fee and pest control fee (what the heck is our rent even going towards then?). They said the higher rent is going to a gym (they gutted the office to make way for a gym, but have stopped the project and have left the building trashed), the dog park (they didn't even install the gate hardware correctly so the door won't close and it's unusable and the equipment inside is falling over because it was just plopped in there instead of properly installed), and other property "improvements" (like painting the buildings, but leaving the unit number plaques painted over for 6 months so no one can read them?). Long story short, this new management doesn't care at all about the people living here and are only looking for ways to squeeze every possible dollar out of the residents. The "improvements" are only things that make them sound good on paper and aren't actually done in any way the will improve life for the people living here. I do not trust the people who own the place to not overinflate the rent with every single new lease. Shame. Used to be a wonderful place to live.
Moved in a few months ago. I love my apartment. Its a huge townhome. Lots of space. They did put a newer flooring and black appliances. Looks modern. Office staff is nice and everyone has taken care of me well. Best place I looked at on Abercorn.
This might just be the best apartments for rent in this great city. Comes with 2 pools and in home laundry. Very large layouts with lots of storage. And the price is pretty low for what you get.
