Property Ratings at Crescent Terrace Apartments
Horrible. Roaches. Landlord does not comply with the law in any shape or form; not only when it comes to health codes.
Run, run, run far away. If you come within 100 ft of this place your car might even become infested with cockroaches. Landlord is apathetic towards a major cockroach infestation, even though it's a major HEALTH CODE VIOLATION. He says they can "spray," and "there's not much else they can do," which speaks volumes of their apathy. There's way more they could do to prevent the roaches from coming in, but really the whole place needs to be burned to the ground. It may be cheap rent for the area, but it's not worth it. I'll probably have to trash my couch, because roaches are in the living room. And in every room. Good luck trying to sleep or do anything in your normal routine because you're bound to see a roach. You can't even put food in the cabinets, so you spend more of your energy after working trying to keep these pests away-- or killing them. I don't know why other tenants aren't vocalizing their concerns, maybe they don't know their rights or whatever. The maintenance guy is equally incompetent. It's just ridiculous! Fair warning: ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES
These apartments have roaches and they linger from the smell of ciggerates. It's disgusting and the owner needs to do something about it assp. No one in their right mind would want to stay there. The owner told me there was no roaches and he lied. I couldn't get management to do anything about it either.
I made the mistake of not coming with my bf when he looked at this apt. I regret moving here, and now we have 11 months to keep regretting it. It was not cleaned-at the most vacuumed- which now I know you can ask the landlord to clean it before moving in and they're supposed to ask if it's okay as-is. The stupid thing is, it was advertised as "nice and clean!" Yeah, right. Also, there's roaches!! The FIRST night we were here, there was one in the bathroom, then next few nights we saw one or two a night. The maintenance guy "sprayed" but left the cap to the spray behind and it turned out to be bug spray you can buy at wal-mart. They need to exterminate the whole building! We're located next door to a restaurant! If the roaches keep coming and they keep spraying cheap bug spray (and not call a freaking professional), and act as if that's all they can do, then we can legally break our lease. The bathroom is barely sealed for bugs, as is the kitchen. Also the deadbolt doesn't work (there is a regular lock, too) and the lock bar barely works; it looks as if they had to break down the door at one point. No back cover on our A/C window unit. Huge mistake moving in here and I feel really stupid.
I hate living here. Parking sucks and maintaince sucks. The apartment is barely clean when u move in. Comes with no blinds on windows. They try and make u pay cash for ur first encounter. They say average place is 750 sqft but it definitely looks like 500 sq ft to me. Very small. Kitchen is big enough to cook but can't put a trash can in there let alone a table
When i moved in the apartment had no screen in bedroom window nothing ever gets fixed no matter how many times you call. A friend of mine moved into an apartment that had a whole in the wall behind the front door bathtub didn't drain water and his stove did not work , ive personally been waiting 7 months to get my front door fixed 4 months to get my bathroom light fixed .
