Property Ratings at Cresthaven
I absolutely loved these apartments. I wished I didn’t have to leave but covid and the financial hardship that came with that caused us to leave. The staff are very helpful the neighborhood is very peaceful and friendly. There are drag racing that occur from time to time and homeless people that come into our garbage. Only once has our garage been broken into but only bags of bottles were stolen. Still, these apartments were great to us. Highly recommend it, for the price and the peaceful environment
First, the staff here; office and ground staff are just wonderful. That apart. The apartments are small, you can not put a queen size bed with a night table and a dresser in the master without having to climb over your bed to get to the closet. The corporate office raises the rent every 11 months 10% which is ridiculous. There isn’t a 12 month lease. The washer/ dryers are broken about 40% of the time. These are the things the ads don’t tell you.
I have been here two months and I am very pleased, especially compared to where I was living before. I love the fact that the community is a lot safer than any other place in San Bernardino and the leasing office is very friendly and welcoming. The apartment came with all new carpet, freshly painted walls and when we moved in, everything including the restroom was wiped down and cleaned thoroughly.
Me and my family have lived at Cresthaven for over a year and we love it. We have a garage, so I always have parking ( I comfortably fit my sedan in it). It's super quite here at all times. The office staff is very professional and maintenance are easy going. They did everything to fix my AC and my Dryer when it wasn't working. Now we have smart thermostats in the apartment, that I didn't have to pay for. Very convenient (I control with my phone). We plan on renewing our lease for another 13 months.
First, these are the best Apartments that I have stayed in San Brdo. for the $$$. I was sad about the no pet policy. Generally it is quiet but of course some things could always be improved. I stay in a one Bedroom with my partner and it is on the small side and we had to put our extra belongings in the garage. Our appliances could use an upgrade. As far as the layout I don't like when we have guest over they have to walk into our Bedroom to use the bathroom. I love how spacious the kitchen and Dining is. I love the size of the patio (although if you live upstairs it's smaller and less private) and the fact that they provide a water hose connection to keep it clean. The living room is on the small side but you can get creative with the furniture to make it work. I was dissappointed by the Fire Place. It can best be described as turning on your stove. It's gas and the flames don't get very noticeable so it doesn't quite have the magic of having a fire place and rarely do we use it. They have units that have washer and dryer but they did not have them available when we moved in. But if you do get a unit with one you have to give up your walk-in closet space. I have no complaints about by walk-in closet. The Master Bedroom is spacious but awkwardly angled so there is only so many layouts you can do with a queen bed. Parking can be a nightmare sometimes. There is no assigned parking so first come first serve otherwise you will have to utilize your garage. In our case we had to use our garage for storage but parking got so bad here that they were forcing people to park in their garages first before utilizing an open space. If you come home late at night that's when it's harderst to find parking and sometimes have to walk a bit to your apartment. When we first moved in when we called the office for repairs it would take them an unreasonable amount of time to respond or fix things. After a while people complained and I noticed it improved. They have pool, gym, tennis, basketball court playground and business center. I am satisfied with most of it except the gym equipment seems a bit outdated. I also wish the amenities stayed open later. You have to stop at 10pm. It's great for keeping the noise level down though. I like how they try to create social events like apartment night they even buy pizza for guest. They have a community room but it's kind of pricey to rent out. The business center is sufficient. The pest are well managed. I have not had a problem yet.
I love these apartments. The staff is kind and curious. It is close to freeways , shopping, and schools. It is a quiet clean complex. I literally have no complaints.
So my husband and I have lived in apartments for about four years now the previous appointments that we lived in we were there for about three years we never had any problems with noise from the neighbors we lived on the second floor of a 3 floor building. we have lived here at the current apartments for about eight months Man oh man. These walls are thin. We can hear everything from conversations to footsteps the stairs go directly in between the apartments and when you have rude neighbors like ours you're over the stove microwave rattles worse than a 3.5 earthquake. The kitchen is very small with very little cabinets the cabinets also hold very little the bedrooms are very small the so-called master is smaller than the second bedroom the only reason it's called the master is because the bathroom is located inside the bedroom the patios are not private there is a small gate to separate the apartments for the first floor the second-story patios are not covered so if it rains with your personal belongings outside it's a mess. The laundry mats are very small the washer and dryers hold about eight towels if you're lucky it's a dollar 25 to wash A dollar to dry and you have to purchase a card for five dollars to use the machines if you need a replacement card it is an additional five dollars the gym is very small and has two treadmills and two other outdated exercise equipment machines there's no parking residents sometimes have to park on the other side of the apartment complex, we do have garages but they are very tight I am an average size woman and have a smaller midsize car and have trouble getting out of the car with the doors half way open. The apartments are very dark on the inside especially if you're on the east side of the complex the model is very bright and open but when you happen to get an apartment that is not a corner apartment you do not have any windows except for the windows in the bedroom you have a sliding door and that is it for the natural light in the living room and kitchen. If you happen to get an apartment with a stackable washer and dryer they are very outdated loud Leakey and or a hassle to have maintenance come and replace or fix there is no security no gates for the apartment car break-ins happen often to place a noise complaint you have to submitted in writing to the office.Overall it is a beautiful view, nice neighborhood but not worth the price, even though they are bigger than other apt.s in the area.
The apartments are always well kept, the location is close to freeway and shopping. Even more, the amenities are exceptional and complex is quiet.
