The vast Patuxent Research Refuge covers nearly 13,000 acres of land. It was established in 1936 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to support wildlife research – the only one established for such a purpose. The refuge is ideal for birdwatching, hiking, and fishing. For those who prefer shopping to hiking, Baltimore Avenue is home to Towne Centre at Laurel, a large shopping plaza with a movie theater and several restaurants. Head into Downtown Laurel to visit the shops and restaurants along Main Street.

I wish I could give zero star . It’s that horrible. I don’t know if they have maintenance at all , no filter changes are done . I called over 2 hours ago for an emergency water leak coming from upstairs and pouring into one of my rooms yet no one showed up . If I could upload videos and pictures y’all will be shocked to see how an apartment that looks nice from the outside is all rotten in the inside . It has not always been like this. I have been here for 5 years since when they had Joelle a very professional lady who took residence work order seriously . It’s like management or something changed for the worst . This last one year has been nothing short of nightmare.

the supervisor maintenance leasing staff has been great with my move in and issues was address right away. Everyone is very respectful. I would recommend anyone looking for an apartment to stop. I give this property 5 stars.

The management sucks. They are always trying to make us pay fees we do not owe. Twice they sent us a balance which could not be justified as we have our receipts from 2yrs back. Management is so incompetent they can't send pest control even after Soo many reports on roaches. We have been waiting for a washer replacement for 2,months, not a mention coming back from the gym, and there is no tap water, which last over night, and I had to take my bath with bottled water.
Crestleigh Apartment has become so terrible. The former management company was not perfect but they are way better than the current management. The former employees(Tammy and Joelle) were very nice, proactive and professional. They made sure all your issues were attended to. The current employees does not reply and respond to maintenance requests (leaks etc). You call call call and follow up with them but no response at all. The issues are never fixed or repaired. The apartment surroundings are so dirty now(especially inside and the stairs). No one sweeps/cleans like they used to do daily and regularly in the past. You will see dirty masks, gloves, food, trash, etc. Hot water has always been an issue. There is NEVER hot water especially in the winter time and they turn off the water without prior notice or email notification. The list goes on I would not recommend Crestleigh Apartment to anyone that wants to move in.
This is the worst apartment complex in (Maryland). Management staff is extremely rude and out of touch with situations that affect their residents on a day to day basis. Lack of proper running Hot water has been an issue for over 2 years now dating back to 2019/2020 and management continues to do patch work instead of properly fixing the issue. Maintenance calls are half way competed and then follow up calls to Remy are not returned. Just the worst period. I would not recommend to anyone. And as stated in other posts if I could give 0 stars I would do so.
I commend the prompt response to give to us whenever there is a maintenance to be done. They all seems to be well behaved on the phone and on ground. Good job, please keep it up.

Cockroaches are EVERYWHERE. Moved to three different units because of flooding and vermin INFESTATIONS!!! Maintenance is unresponsive because they are led by a completely INCOMPETENT MANAGEMENT STAFF. Move here at your own risk.

This place has roaches!!!! I went there to view an apartment and passed a pile of dog poop. The dumpster is too close to apartments which can definitely lead to bugs and rodents. Well while viewing an apartment I attempted to walk into the bathroom and was stopped by the leasing agent...I’m not sure if she was aware that I had already seen the “house guest” on the bathroom floor, but she wanted to act like she was just turning on the light so I could see the bathroom. The leasing agent picked the roach up with her hand and tossed it near the toilet..not in the toilet to flush it...but right next to the toilet like no one else would see it. After witnessing that I definitely would not recommend anyone living here...especially if the apartment is near a dumpster.

All i can say is if you wanna move in new apartment, stay away from Crestleigh, they trick you by saying the utility included but, AC system is very old, it's a chiller run by cold water for whole building NOT every single unit, i mean ONE CHILLER FOR WHOLE BUILDING!!! so you will never see the temp below 68F. other thing which is the most important is the HOT WATER, think about, you just got up 7 o'clock in the morning ready to take shower and guess what NO HOT WATER!!!!! this happening at lease 4 times a week either in the morning or afternoon. HOT WATER BAD, I MEAN REALLY BAD...........
The apartments have large rooms and they respond really quickly to any maintenance calls but I have lived here for only 1 year and they have towed my car twice with a parking permit and in front of my building. The cabinets and floors are in terrible shape.
This is the worst complex I have ever lived in The office staff is very rude. The rent is going up but the quality of service isn't.
