Property Ratings at Crestwood Townhomes
The bathrooms are disgusting with old yellow, blue or pink tiles. Tub is rusty. Sink is stained. Maintenance and management are terrible, once they finally respond. Don’t sign a lease without looking at your unit! Hardly any parking spaces. Some buildings don’t have lots at all.
I moved into Crestwood a few months ago, and I have never been so unhappy with an apartment. The units themselves are fine, but management has been manipulative, unresponsive, and scummy. The Solomon Organization owns Crestwood, and I’d highly recommend avoiding the entire company like the plague.
Living here 10 years. Great location, 24 maintenance, off street parking, affordable and allow pets! Gonna stay as long as possible!
I loved living in Crestwood. Three years ago when I was looking for a place to live in Albany I read more negative than positive reviews so I’d like to address those comments. First, people complained about the noise from neighbors and often attributed this to the walls being too thin. People need to be realistic -- if you choose to live in an apartment or condo or townhouse where you share walls with other people you have to accept that you may hear your neighbors. I had neighbors on both sides -- I never heard a peep from one side but often heard from neighbors on the other side. Same walls, different neighbors. People complained about water in the basement but mine was dry as a bone. People complained about the maintenance guys and I cannot say enough good things about every one of them. Whenever I needed anything they were there immediately. They were all polite, professional, and efficient. They fixed whatever needed fixing as soon as humanly possible and they cleaned up any mess resulting from the repairs. The grounds were nicely maintained and every time there was a snowstorm the guys were there at 4:00 in the morning if necessary -- they plowed the parking lots and shoveled and salted not just common areas but each individual porch and walkway. Management was always quick to respond any time I had a question or issue. I could have a washer and a dryer, and I could have my cat. In all honesty, if I did not move cross country to Oregon I would still be happily living in Crestwood.
