Property Ratings at Crofton Village Apartments
I've enjoyed my stay at Crofton Village. I've been here for a few years and have no complaints. The neighborhood is kept cleaned and well maintained. The buildings are cleaned daily; swept, mopped and sanitized. This is something I appreciate so much and hope they never do away with. The parking spaces are large and we have open parking. I've lived in other communities where they place the spots so close together that you have greater risk at hitting another vehicle as you enter/exit your vehicle. We have schools extremely close (in walking distance) to our community, which is great. The apartments are cute and spacious and the complex does what they can to add periodic updates and improvements to not only the apartments homes but our grounds as well. I have recently begin to enjoy the charcoal grills and outdoor seating that is available on a first come first serve basis. This has offered my family and I some outdoor bonding time, which we have come to love. Maintenance is quick to respond to issues and no bug issue at all! Well, I will see centipedes here and there but have NEVER, EVER seen a cockroach and have lived in a few different apartment homes in this neighborhood. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Any concern that I have had, it was addressed appropriately. I love it here and it will be my last stop before purchasing a home.
I moved in at the beginning of COVID so at the time they were not doing showings, I was a bit desperate and needed something a bit more affordable due to losing one of my jobs due to the pandemic. A nightmare Literally from beginning to end! I asked for the last floor because I didn’t want to live under anyone. When I get my keys they gave me an apartment in the basement I was furious but I understood how someone can misinterpret last floor with bottom floor. They are able to switch my apartment to what I wanted. When I get the keys to go see it, it had not been cleaned walls were dirty cabinets a mess the apartment looked nothing like the photos online. At this point I have no choice but to suck it up and process the fact this is not a luxury apartment. Fast forward some months I needed to terminate my lease due to person reasons and of course that wasn’t a smooth process as well. Luckily I was able to terminate my lease without penalty. Now it’s time to receive my 500 dollar deposit, I only received a check for half I was charged for god knows what, I have two weeks calling the office and sending emails to try and speak to a manager about these charges and no one has yet to reach out! Legit the worst experience ever! 0/10 don’t recommend
Apartment always reek of weed and Staff does nothing about it. Ceilings are also always being slammed on by noisy neighbors. Low standard of living.
I have lived here for over 7 years now and I love it! Even though I am in the process of buying a home, I strong heartily vouche for this complex as safe and welcoming. The staff is great and the manager Ron is always on his job! I recommend them to anyway looking. Ms.Ross
This is, by far, one of the best places to live in Crofton. The property is kept well groomed, all maintenance service tickets are completed within 0-1 day wait time, and the rental office staff is highly professional. You can’t beat the monthly rent price...especially with all the amenities. Love it here!!! Ms. Campbell
This is a great area to live in with Waugh Chapel right across the street. Children run around, so it appears to be family friendly (I live with just my girlfriend). Apartments are nice and each building has its own washer and dryer. The people in the office can be a little rude, but I haven't had any major issues with them. Open parking is nice, unless you get home after 10pm, then it may be hard to find a spot. Route 3 is always busy, so plan your commute ahead of time.
With Waugh Chapel being right across the street the area is great, commuting along route 3 is terrible though. Maintenance is quick and nice but some of the office staff are pretty rude.
I live at Crofton Villages and I have been here for almost a year. I can't wait until my lease is up so I can move out! The toilets re constantly clogging, the sink leaking and flooding and the dishwasher flooding as well. Not to mention the neighbors are rude, loud, and messy and leave trash everywhere. Also, the office is not open until 9 and if you lock yourself out of your apartment before then or need emergency matinence before then there in no number to call and no one to help you. Also, a lot of the outlets don't work and there is no gym or pool. All in all it's run down and overpriced.
Me and family have been in this area/location for 4 months and so far everything has been good.
I love my apartment. it spacious and the neighborhood is very quiet. The rental office is very attentive to the residence needs. The maintenance staff keeps the grounds up. i have no complaints.
