Indianapolis is the thriving capital city of the state of Indiana — as well as the most populated. Nicknamed the Crossroads of America, Indianapolis is the well-known center for several major interstates that connect locals to the rest of the country. This commuter-friendly city is also home to the Indianapolis International Airport, a modern hub for national and international travelers. With an abundance of affordable apartments for rent, the city of Indianapolis has more than enough to offer both its residents and visitors alike.
Residents can enjoy a performance from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra at Hilbert Circle Theatre, cheer on the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium, and peruse the stores in Circle Centre Mall. Locals enjoy admiring the wildlife at the Indianapolis Zoo, exploring the exhibitions at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and hiking the trails at Eagle Creek Park.

Property Ratings at Crooked Creek
I have lived here for 3 yrs now and have loved it...however this "new" look they are doing is horrible, very cheep and cheesy looking. I like the black patio/balcony with the brick very classy look but to paint over it with white brings down the property value so much. Very Bad Decision
We have been at Crooked Creek for 2 years now. We love our apartment and the area. Management has always been helpful, prompt and friendly! We like the location, it feels safe and like you can relax while still being close to everything we need.
I been in my first floor apartment about six months, and already regret moving in. The apartment itself is nice and the area in general is quite. However, the water pipes bang very loud (like a hammer is hitting it) and even woke me up a few times at 2am and 3am. The worst part are the upstairs neighbors. You hear ever step very loudly, and there is a loud vibration noise in the living room when they walk. Constantly it sounds like they are dropping bowling balls. I enjoy some peace, but that only existed about 4 days in six months when no one was home above. For the first three months, the noise would continue till about 2am-3am. Management finally talk with the residents about the late night noise, and at least now it usually quiets down around 9pm. But I know it will be very noisy between 7am and 9pm. If you move in, I recommend only considering top floor units. Besides all the noise from above, the complex is nice.
I was so thrilled to find the loft apartments at Crooked Creek. I am extremely picky when it comes to apartments, and it was starting to look like I would not find anything to meet my "standards" when it came time to move to Indy for my new job. The only thing I didn't like was that they wouldn't let me see the inside of an apartment for a couple of months because they were all occupied (which is probably in accordance with the law); but I was in a situation where I could wait and commute long-distance for a while, and boy was it worth the wait!! The apartment I got was spectacularly clean and despite being "small" by square-footage standards, it was the perfect dimensions to hold my humongous sectional couch, swivel chair, 8-seat dining table, queen platform bed, full-size futon, desk, 2 large TV's with stands (one upstairs and one downstairs), plus tons of cabinet space in the kitchen for all my pots & pans and 2 large closets that held a ton of clothes and all my big musical instruments (cello, violin & 2 guitars). The best thing though was the perfect little alcove under the upstairs vanity for the cats' litter box. And it met all my other standards: open spiral staircase, huge loft bedroom with balcony, fireplace, patio & large outdoor storage shed, right next to a pond, plus they even let me plow up the area between my apartment and the pond and plant a fenced-in garden. I only had two water-related maintenance issues while I lived there and someone came to fix the problems both times ASAP. The neighbors were all very friendly too (though the guy a couple doors down liked to listen to his rap music rather loudly... but that is pretty much ubiquitous to all apartment complexes and society in general, sigh). I would've liked to have had one of the covered parking spaces but I was not able to get one in the 1.5yrs that I lived there. The maintenance was only good about getting snow out of your way if you worked regular hours... but having to get to work by 6am, I was usually left shoveling/salting my car out on my own. No big deal for the wonderful experience I had. I only left because I got married and moved out to the boonies... but I still miss my little loft at Crooked Creek! I would give this place the highest recommendation possible to anyone moving to the area! You will not be disappointed.
I and family lived at crooked creek for almost two years.sankes started showing up in the house we lived we told them and they said is not their problem and we should called pet control. Another incident occurred we our AC we called them to come fix it and they said they will not do anything until the next business day which was Monday so the whole of Friday night me and family get to be sleeping in the heat.so we put our notices in to move.
Very Classy nice minimum of complaints nice prices.
