Koreatown is a vibrant LA neighborhood fille with hidden gems, bars, eateries, and a collision of cultures. As the name suggests, the atmosphere in Koreatown is heavily influenced by Korean culture. The neighborhood is a favorite destination among foodies city-wide for its endless selection of authentic Korean restaurants, but the community has a much more diverse character than that: the broad range of cultural influences is exemplified in landmarks like the synagogue and contemporary art gallery of the Wilshire Boulevard Temple, the Latin fusion cuisine of Roy Choi’s restaurants, and the popular German/Korean/Hawaiian tinged gastropub, Biergarten.
Although the area is a hot spot for LA residents’ day trips, Koreatown is known as one of the best places to live in LA. Most locals rent their homes and enjoy parks, coffee shops, and stores within walking distance of their apartments.

Property Ratings at Crosby
I really loved living here because of the facilities. The ceilings are high and the apartment itself was a dream. The fridge, washer/dryer, pool, and gym were all excellent. So on paper, this is a 5 star property. However, after living there for some time, you'll realize that the management is quite disorganized. To fix something small like the A/C, I had to put in multiple maintenance requests. There were several technicians who came to the apartment just to confirm that the A/C was indeed not working. Finally, the A/C was fixed after several weeks. Then there's the hidden fees. Your rent is not what you will be paying. You will be paying for utilities (obviously fine with that) and internet. But the internet is provided by the building and you have to go with their expensive as hell internet and their router which you buy from them. Then there is parking which, since they didn't have enough parking on site, is an offsite shadier lot about a block away from the property. It is expensive too: $85 a month. Not to mention random additional charges to our rent that we'd have no warning of. A leasing agent told me that this building was an older building before it became an apartment complex. That means that the walls and floors are very thin and you will hear everything that your neighbor says and does. The people below me were obnoxious and constantly bothered me about WALKING in my apartment. Management didn't tell them to stop. Then the worst thing: Since the building is older, the ventilation and air is old. Not sure what exactly it was, could be fungus or dust or something, but the air in the apartment was always rather stale and made my sinuses clog up. My roommate developed polyps and had to have a dangerous surgery to have them removed. Although the amenities and the apartment itself is really nice, I strongly recommend considering somewhere else based on the above information.
Bryan was exceptionally helpful and patient through the entire process. He was able to navigate hiccups with my application in a clean and efficient manner and matched me to a unit that had yet to be listed online according to my preferences. Top to bottom it was a very pleasant experience

beware do not live here! building advertises as pet friendly but pets not allowed anywhere on the building and get kicked out by security. management also has rude attitude all the time and does not care about the livelihood of their tenants. also EV charging is a rip off 20/month AND 25 cents for each kwh you charge
The building management is useless and won't bother to help you with anything you ask for. If you ask a question or have a request expect to be either completely ignored or given an unhelpful, unprofessional, rude response. The property is poorly maintained, dog excrements and loose garbage just lying around in the hallways. Windows are so dirty I can barely see out of them for the past year and I've requested a window washing for the entire building but management just hits me with the "we're working on it" for the past 8 months. The only helpful person who works here is the security guard who is the only one who knows what’s going on in the building at all times.
manager is the worst! They are so rude and always slow to get things done. Leasing office manager hates to work. I don't know why they are working.
I scheduled an appointment to view this apartment my appointment was originally for 1pm which they rescheduled. I was fine with the rescheduling they push me to 5:30 and I rearranged my plans to make it. I drove 40mins got here at 5pm was waiting in their parking lot when I received a call from a different agent who wasn’t the one I spoke with only to be told they rented out all the studios and wanted to cancel. I usually don’t waste my time doing reviews but I just think it was very unprofessional and inconsiderate. The one who called did offer me a studio for the same price at another building but the building is smaller with no amenities. I just think it’s very uncommon for them to rent every studio unit within a day from me confirming and communicating with Lisa/Hannah .
I can hear every single noise from my next door neighbor, literally every word of their conversation. This building was not thought out properly when it was remodeled.
I initially didn't have plans of checking out Crosby Apartments but I'm thankful that I did! The management team was extremely friendly and welcoming from the moment I met them. All of the questions I had were answered in a friendly and professional manner - even the small talk while touring was fun and filled with laughter. The units I saw were all clean and had the specific amenities I was looking for, such as a walk-in closet, in-unit washer/dryer, wooden floor, and a nice view of Koreatown. The building has many amenities available and is also in a prime location too - I can literally walk to go and get groceries but I'm pretty lazy so I'll be driving instead. I still have a few more apartments to check out in Koreatown but Crosby Apartments has definitely set the standard high. Thank you so much to the management for making this a great experience!!
It is 5.42am. Again, my neighbor is having people over and playing party music. They talk loud in the hallway and balcony. The party music is strong enough to wake me up. I’ve complained about this for more than three times. But they just don’t care about the community quiet time policy and COVID. Would you want this kind of neighbor?
Want to hear every footstep above you? Want to hear tiny dogs in all the units barking their heads off? Want a front door so paper thin you can hear someone scratching their nose in the hallway? Want to live down the hall from a unit that holds weekly COVID parties? Then this place is for you. A brand new apartment building with all the qualities of a Depression Era tenement.
I moved 3 weeks ago. And I never used a washer and dryer. And it is not working. So I requested to fix it 2 weeks ago. And I still can’t use it. And they just said they are trying to do their best. i live in studio and i pay almost 2k every month. but i can't use washer. so i should go outside for using washer whenever i need washer. please don't come here if you don't want to get bad experience.
