The University of Tennessee is undeniably the focal point of Knoxville, and the school’s orange and white motif is everywhere. Largely thanks to the big student population, Knoxville’s nightlife scene is among the best in the region. Traditionally, the bars and restaurants along Cumberland Avenue - or "The Strip" – have been the preferred night spots in town; while The Strip remains popular, redevelopment in downtown and in the Old City has spread out the after-hours revelry. With so many students in the mix, the local rental market is packed with affordable options as well, so it’s easy to find a budget-friendly house, condo, or apartment just about anywhere in town.
But the city is much more than your typical college town, offering a charming environment surrounded by gorgeous hills and forests, with a generous helping of Southern personality. If boating is your thing, join famous Tennessee Vol Navy as they cruise the river behind Neyland Stadium on game days.

Love that these have washer and dryer connections and a comfortable sized space. The office and maintenance staff has been great so far.

Maintenance here is a joke. The office is never helpful with anything or knowledgeable at all. The property is a mess. There is no playground, no tennis court that is usable (it's filled with storage units that aren't ours currently), & the gym is teeny tiny with no air conditioner or heat. The only positive of this neighborhood is that you can have your pets here, but only 2. There is a nice area to walk your dogs. Other than that, the apartments themselves are cramped & extremely cheap with floors chipping & shades breaking & leaks all the time among other things. If you can help it,do not live here. Wouldn't recommend to anyone I care about.

Cross Creek is beautiful with bunches of mature trees and a forest like setting. The apartments are ok on the outside. They are older but they have been well maintained. The inside was clean when we moved in. The rooms seem small at first but they get the job done. There are no overhead lights in any room other than the kitchen and dining room as well as no fans. I have not had a problem with bugs. The apartment staff are super nice and helpful. I would recommend this complex to anyone!
I have live in these apartments for 3 years and love it! They are older apartments but there is a lot of space for the price! It is a very good value!
