Property Ratings at Haven Cross Creek
Incredibly frustrating and terrible experience trying to tour with this community. I'm very disappointed in the way we were treated from the staff who answered our phone calls. My wife and I went to go tour this place last weekend, and every part of the self guided tour was a mess. The key that we gained out of the lockbox after signing up to do our tour didn't work for the clubhouse or 3 out of the 4 show apartments. One of the show apartments was OCCUPIED by a current resident, as we found out when we opened the door and noticed someone's belongings all over the space. When we called the complex to ask for direction on what to do next, the person over the phone just started ranting very quickly in a way that we couldn't understand what he said. When we asked if he could repeat himself, we were already being forwarded to another line for someone that didn't work for the complex. We were then told by the forwarded person that we could still go see one of the other apartments (to which only 1 of the 4 apartments were accessible with the keys we were given). I have a high suspicion that 3 of the 4 apartments were occupied by a current resident, which is why we couldn't get access. The only amenity that we could visibly see was the pool, but did not have access to see anything else. Luckily, my wife and I found a much better looking place later that day. This experience told me that I shouldn't go near this place because of the rude staff, the inaccessible facilities, and the fact that my apartment could be put on the show list for prospective residents to look at without my knowledge.

I went to tour this complex and was absolutely disgusted. There were MASSIVE roaches everywhere! The kitchen and living room looked newly done. The bedroom and closet were full of nasty old carpet. I RAN out of there. I would never take a chance on a bug infested apartment. HELLLLL NO

Scheduled an appointment to tour this property and, even after calling to confirm my appointment time the day before, no one ever showed up. And the phone number went straight to voicemail. If I'm not respected enough as a potential resident for staff to even show up for a confirmed appointment, I don't expect to be respected as a resident either. If you're looking for an apartment to tour and live, do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.

Can’t get a real person to help.. it’s the ooooooo sorry to hear that I can leave management a message for me.. or the I want to help you but I can’t for me… this is outrages tricap trishat idc what it is .. be a real human being and do your job. I don’t understand how there’s always nobody on site. It’s Wednesday who in gods creation doesn’t work all week. -7 stars
When I first moved in it wasn’t bad the staff was nice and helpful then bam March 2021 comes and Tricap takes over all the good workers gone no office people on site maintenance nonexistent. Parking sucks people throwing dog crap on the back patio when you don’t do anything but work and sleep and keep to yourself. Call management you may get a person to call you back in a week or two or two months who knows. Me and my fiancé would have to go pick up dog poo that wasn’t even our dogs cause apparently that’s not the maintenance or groundskeepers job the rent isn’t worth the money cause can’t even go to the gym cause it’s dead bolted shut even after they renovated it. Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else

Please note that all reviews prior to March 2021 are based off of old management. The complex was bought by Tricap at the end of March 2021 & the transition from good management to terrible has been everything but smooth. Office staff are nonexistent. Communication is HORRIBLE. No one is on site. No one answers the phone & if you get a call back, you must be lucky. The office number goes directly to a call system & getting a human on the phone, may as well be considered impossible. We have had mail issues. The work around the property has been beyond mediocre. It took months for pressure washing and please expect for all of your things to be soaked because there were no warnings. Landscaping, in which your cars need to be moved...no warning. Painting of the doors, no heads up & on top of that they leave incomplete jobs. Doors painted, weather straps left off, which causes the doors to not close or lock properly and to add, bugs have come in. Speaking of bugs...they all come out at night, outside,and the amount of bettles moths, roaches & etc that come out is ridiculous. So due to the weather guards being off the door, they have entered the apartment. If you work from home, expect to be disturbed, as their two works aren't quiet, beat on your door and take their time all evening to even finish. Paint tape is still all over the property on patios, garage or just flying in the wind...weeks after the job is "completed". No consideration is giving to the residents......nor to the ones who work at home, due to a pandemic, nor the ones who come home after work,as they are still working late in the evening. It has become horrible to live here and I have been here 4 years. Parking is ridiculous. Property has trash & dog bins overfilled. Also, they have the ability to text us of the things that will happen, they refuse to do so...unless it's something they need. With everything that we have been going through from the pandemic, your home should be your peace.

I have not lived in Cross Creek Villas for too long, but I have really enjoyed living here so far. The staff is extremely helpful. Kari is great, she always is nice and remembers my name and is happy to help with whatever I need. The apartments are fairly new, built in 2009, and they come with everything I need. The gated community and alarms give an added sense of security, and the price is very good for what you get. Look for specials throughout the year! My only complaint about living here isn't even about the apartment, but more the location. There are plenty of drugstores and a grocery store around, but to get to a Walmart or such, it takes about 10 minutes, downtown about 15. Which is not bad. If I could pick up these same apartments and move them a tad closer, they would be perfect. Still, I am glad I am a resident here!
First of all the community is gated and the grounds are kept very nice and clean. I live in a two bedroom, two bath floor plan and it's spacious and enough room for me and my son. The only complaint I have is that the walls are thin and you can hear neighbors through the wall which honestly is to be expected in most apartments today but despite the nice grounds and spacious floor plans it was our property manager Angela who was the reason I moved into this neighborhood. I told Angela I was a single mom trying to get my son to sleep in his own room and she told me how her apartment's floor plan worked perfectly for her and her son and not only that but she was kind enough to give me an impromptu tour of her apartment so that I could see if it would work for me and my child and her going above and beyond like that just made me want to have her as my landord because I felt I could trust her because she had opened her home up to me. I haven't regretted that decision at all.
Great complex. Manager and staff are very friendly & helpful. If any problem in apt, it is corrected promptly. Love the gated and secure complex, not to mention this apt itself; and the fact they are pet friendly.
