Just three and a half miles outside the heart of Downtown Columbia sits the neighborhood of Rosewood, one of the city’s most distinct and well-known communities. You’ll find mostly single-family homes for rent here, but new apartment communities are popping up closer to Five Points and Williams Brice Stadium. Charming ranch-style homes and towering trees give Rosewood a vibrant, laid-back atmosphere, one that’s punctuated by all the of the offerings on Rosewood Drive. There’s upscale brewpubs like The Kraken, long-standing burger spots like Rosewood Dairy Bar, and convenient local grocers such as Rosewood Market & Deli.
Rosewood’s location is near perfect; in five minutes you can be on Interstate 77 for a commute almost anywhere, and in the same amount of time be in the heart of Columbia on Main Street or Five Points.

Property Ratings at Cross Hill Apartments
Break-ins are happening often they aren’t letting the residents know about. I got thousands of dollars of personal property stolen and the renters insurance they have don’t cover theft. I wouldn’t recommend moving here they are cute but it’s not worth everything you’ve worked for to get stolen. In addition I’ve also got my car hit by maintenance staff which was an inconvenience for me & I was legally parked.

Hi, Erin. Due to the contents of this review, we think it would be best if we spoke with you directly. Please stop by our office at your earliest convenience so we can discuss these claims. We look forward to speaking with you soon.
If you are considering moving to a location where there are issues such as widespread dog poop, unresponsive maintenance, unanswered calls from the office, or unjustified rent increases despite poor property maintenance, it is advisable to carefully reconsider your decision. These issues can significantly impact your living experience and overall well-being. It may be in your best interest to explore alternative housing options that prioritize cleanliness, responsiveness, and fair treatment of tenants.

Horrible. Roaches everywhere no matter how many times you clean!!!! Had an old mildew moldy smell. Was water damaged cabinets in bathroom. The kitchen did not come with a microwave as advertised. Outside maintenance was not appealing. Grass uncut, water leakage and wild cats everywhere. Also cabinets and drawers falling apart in kitchen. Didn’t even stay a month it was so dirty!!!!! Find somewhere else.

Are you looking at pictures online thinking about moving to Crosshill Apartments? Read my review and decide if it’s the place for you. Are you looking for roommates? Every Heard- of the 3 Rs ? Because those “unexpected roommates” are included. My first week they stopped by, startling me at 2 am in the kitchen, a Rat by pure definition. They didn’t forget their friends the Roaches. Now as a plus after incessant emails and calls to maintenance and a hellish 3 week starvation standoff they were evicted, and thankfully for good. What’s the last “R” you ask? Reefer. You’ll smell it all day long and may even be able to join your fellow residents for a neighborly hot box session. The interior of the apartments is decent and like the photos. It’s a good enough place if you can get over the slopping floors and the fact that you have to open the fridge door to have enough space to use your dishwasher. Ever been to EDC? This is best amenity that’s Crosshill has to offer! Constant, non-stop, wall thumping, beats and bass! That’s right Crosshill features DJ Crosshill hitting the tracks all day long from noon til 2 am ! During his intermission you may be serenaded by the sounds of happy children screaming at play, lawn mowers, and renovations. Well after a year long lease freedom could be no sweeter. I’ll certainly miss the laundry room, and the accommodating office staff, the only thing worthwhile here.
Roaches are in my apartment. I’ve asked several times for it to be bombed and it only happened twice. The situation is not getting handled. They keep coming back.
Reached out everyday through phone and chat no reply to get info about application or anything . Worst customer service make you not want to move there
I’ve been reaching out for weeks in regards of moving in and applications but I haven’t gotten a single call back and or email back
I recently moved out of here in August and I hated it. Maintenance does not come out in a timely manner at all. I once has my AC unit out for 4 DAYS IN JULY. I had mold growing on my front door and they did nothing. Absolutely terrible. When I asked for things to be fixed it was nothing but excuses. The front lady was rude all the time.
I went by Cross Hill Apartments on yesterday and applied. The are renovating the apartments. The leasing manager Beverly is fantastic! She was very helpful and kind! She showed me the exact apartment that I would move into if I get approved. Not a model apartment. But the very apartment that me and my son will move into. I am so excited and nervous! I really want this apartment so bad! They are gorgeous! They look exactly like the pictures on here on this website! They are located in a nice area of Beltline Blvd. on Blossom Street right beside Midlands Technical College. You could literally walk to school and save your car gas. Anyways I am praying that I get this great apartment for me and my son. I will do an update later on if I was approved or not. But give these apartments a try. They have changed a lot and up graded everything! - Tanesha W. 1/23/2020

Not a good place to live. People don't clean up after their dogs. Have to walk through water to get to apartment after a real hard rain.
