Property Ratings at Crossing at Holcomb Bridge
I have rented here for a few years now and this place is a joke. They do not fix problems with the units they just put band aids on gaping wounds hoping no one will notice. They add charges to your account hoping you don't see them. There is NO communication from the property management about anything. Nothing about delayed opening of the pool or when it actually does. Nothing. Every apartment I have had (3 different units) has had either bug issues, rodent issues, flooring issues, holes in walls, cabinets falling apart, or all of the above. Do not rent here.

Property Manager at Crossing at Holcomb Bridge, Responded To This Review
Thanks for your great feedback, Joel! If there is anything we can do for you, please don't hesitate to reach out.
For the most part, my stay was ok here at The Crossings. It wasn’t until they changed management last March and payments that were made were lost, that I had a problem. Our online portal was down due to re-vamping, which was ok. But there was absolutely no communication between the mgmt change. I paid my rent on time and it took them over a month to properly credit my account! Move forward to Oct. 22, 2020 when my building was set on fire due to arson. The only thing I needed from the office team was a letter stating that my apt was unlivable, absolutely lost everything and had to jump from my balcony to safety, so that I could get assistance from my job. They never could respond to that request but automatically set my account up with another unit that I never agreed to move to and charged me late fees, early termination fees and a whole bunch of other bs! Thankfully Richard seemed to be the only person capable of handling anything in the office because he was the ONLY one to eventually reach out, only after I threatens to sue! Fast forward to Jan 2021...Just realized that I was charged an eviction fee for their March mishandling of my money and it’s currently hindering me from getting another apartment until I get this bs cleared up! I would only recommend someone moving here if u plan on not having a long term lease or u absolutely have no choice!
The property is well maintained and the staff is very attentive to any concerns or issues. This is a recent improvement so if you had bad experience in past, look again. Much improved
Not a gated community as advertised. One bedroom doesn’t have microwave. Require 2 month notice and 2 month rend I’d terminate lease early. Make sure to call in weekly to request one-time pest control spraying, no auto scheduled spraying.
In short, this place is a total roach motel. Save yourself a headache and look elsewhere. 1. The noise is a HUGE issue with this place. My downstairs neighbors would: play horribly loud music constantly with a subwoofer, slam their front door so loud that it would startle anyone out of a sound sleep, have domestic disputes (they threw their couch off their balcony once), and so many more things I know I'm forgetting. The other neighbors were just as bad. 2. This place is absolutely filthy and the apartments are in horrible condition. The rug in my apartment was disgusting and dingy, there was dirt caked between the walls and the floors, there were ROACHES and spiders PAINTED over on the cupboards and the walls, the showers leaked, both bathtubs began peeling a few months into living there because they weren't refinished properly, the bathroom floors had terrible water damage and the floor is so soft you feel like you might fall through it, the counters are made of particle board and flake off everywhere, the laminate countertops started chipping and flaking everywhere after a few months... I could go on. Also, this place is a total roach palace. I have never seen so many insects (of any kind) in my life. I spent hundreds on my own pest control because the apartment's pest service was crap. I would get rid of the roaches for a few weeks and they would just come back again. I moved my fridge to clean once after I realized I was infested and found that there was a roach nest in the wall behind my fridge! No matter what you do they just keep coming back because they are in the walls. 3. The grounds are absolutely disgusting as well. First, there is a bogus "Valet Trash" service that you get charged almost $30 a month for and they never pick up trash when they're supposed to, which leads to people letting their trash pile up outside their doors in the breezeways. When the trash service does decide to pick up they mysteriously always seem to break a bag of trash open and spill it down the stairs. The trash compactor was always backed up as well and they decided to get an open-top dumpster, which was also always overflowing. As well as this, the tenants do not take care of the grounds at all and would throw their unwanted furniture and other garbage all over where the trash area was as well as the parking lot in general, especially the no parking zones in front of each building.
If you have something to be fixed in your apartment and say it to the front office, you should know that it is not going to be fixed. They never do what they say. Liers and unprofessionals. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED...
I just saw this place today-- why doesn't the local government close it down- wow! even the breezeway stairs are dangerous the apts. are worn out inside and the A/C's and heaters don't work or are old and filthy. The roaches want an upgrade. Good place to get carjacked. Kitchens are tiny and they were too cheap to even replace the light switches so they covered them with plastic covers. The toilets are ancient. Better to live under a bridge.
If you are looking to be scammed out of your money and live in filth please apply to this apartment! I went to tour the apartment, and upon arrival I saw several evictions people's things were scattered all around the property and the trash area was completely disgusting and over flowing. The trash compactor is located at the front of the apartment complex which makes it an eye sore; but this did not detour me from viewing the apartment because I understand that evictions happen and it was early in the morning so the trash men had probably not been by yet. The model apartment was decent with nice upgrades so I decided to apply online. since my husband and I were on a tight time crunch to move. My husband whom is a truck driver did not get to see the property and when returning home asked to drive by it to get a idea of the area. When arriving we were in completely shock at how disgusting the trash compactor was 2 days later after I'd toured it was still overflowing but worst. We decided to cancel the move and were scammed out of our REFUNDABLE $85 administrative fee. I had to deal with unprofessional front staff and managers they were very rude and told me they would be back in contact with me and never responded to my emails and or phone calls and messages. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND KEEP LOOKING !!
All the reviews below are true. For personal reasons I have been living here for over a year now and things have really gone downhill since B&H Management took over. First we had a RAT PROBLEM (we would bring in pictures of the damage that it was doing to our pantry, not something mice do) which the office denied by saying that we most definitely just had field mice. That is until we caught it. Then we had a BIG MOUSE PROBLEM. We came back from a week long trip to discover pest control had placed sticky traps behind our large appliances and they were COMPLETELY FILLED WITH DEAD MICE. Once they patched up all the holes in walls I can't say I have much peace of mind because we still have a huge GERMAN COCKROACH PROBLEM TOO. (I kill six or seven every time I wake up in the morning.) Repairs never happen unless you bug them repeatedly or offer to do it yourself. On a weekly basis garbage is overflowing around the compactor. We are talking 10x10 foot swathes of just piled high garbage bags. If you are visiting check behind the fence that's just past the leasing office (it has a little sign listing which section of apartment numbers is on either side of the property) you will see what I mean. Oh and while you are here. Keep an eye out for the rat traps (they are everywhere once you start to look for them) and our lovely feral cat population. Also, good luck developing a good relationship with the staff at the leasing office. They change so frequently that it's hard to keep tabs. I have seen our most recent round repeatedly remain unsympathetic towards tenants concerns and even yell at them from time to time.
I would never recommend this apartment complex to anyone. I have been living here only 6 months and regret the decision. They have so many rodents such as roaches, rats, snakes and frogs. The first day I moved in we saw our first roach, then another one, and another one. Come to find out it wasn't just our apartment but everyones. Our neighbor came to us outside one day and told us his experience with the roaches. He just moved in 2 weeks ago and was planning on moving out later this month. I soon learned that this was the same for all of my neighbors. Also this place has terrible costumer service. One day all of a sudden all of my water wouldn't turn on, right when I was about to shower might I add. This meant I couldn't wash my hands, couldn't use the toilet, and couldn't take a bath. I was very disappointed. When I called the office and told them, they didn't answer. Another time, the garbage disposel in the kitchen was broken and when I called the office they said they would be there shortly. They never arrived until days later. Also they've went up so much on my rent it's out of control. I absolutly hate living here and can't wait to move in July.
Very poor up keep of the complex. They have a major rat problem. And the neighbors are noisy and nasty. And it's hard to get in touch with management on weekends.
we came from a roach free environment and noticed there was an infestation here. We've had issues with the fridge not closing and lit took five months for a replacement. The maintenance man told me that he reported the unit needed to be rewired because it's not cooling which resulted in a $300.00 electric bill. They haven't attempted to address the issue and that's why I graded with one star.
