It may not have the flashy reputation of San Francisco or Los Angeles, but Sacramento embodies the very best of what makes California so unique. The city is well known for preserving its history, from early settlements like Sutter’s Fort to the gorgeous 19th century architecture of Old Sacramento to the artifacts in the Sacramento History Museum. Pop culture and the fine arts are well-represented, with local stages hosting symphony concerts and rock shows and galleries displaying works by the old masters as well as modern upstarts. The local restaurant scene is famous for its heavy emphasis on “farm to fork” principles, making it one of the best places to find fresh, locally sourced food.
Those living in Sacramento love to take advantage of the mild climate, whether that means biking the River Trail, taking the kids to Fairytale Town, or heading over to Sutter Health Park to catch a River Cats baseball game.

Property Ratings at Crossing at Wyndham
This place would be great if the leasing agreement was actually being enforced. There should be ZERO smoking of cigarette or marijuana indoors since leasing agreement states, "Smoking anywhere inside buildings of the community is strictly prohibited." It also states that a definition of smoking, "...refers to any use or possession of cigar, cigarette, e-cigarette, hookah, vaporizer, or pipe containing tobacco.....smoking also refers to use or possession of burning, lighting, vaporized, or ignited non-tobacco products if they are noxious, offensive, unsafe, unhealthy, or irritating to other persons, and include, but not limited to, marijuana." So you might get lucky and avoid these kind of problems but if you encounter it, expect nothing to be done about this in a timely manner. Still happens and Management keeps letting these people smoke cigarettes and weed indoors when their leasing agreement still says that all of that is PROHIBITED. Keep families away from here unless if second hand smoke is what you can deal with.
Property Manager at Crossing at Wyndham, Responded To This Review
We are sad to see that you are still dealing with this issue. We want all of our residents to feel comfortable in their home and we do not allow smoking. If you can offer more details as to your experience please don't hesitate to talk to us.
The management here will make sure not to give your deposit money back when you move out and when you try to ask them about they won’t talk to you. The apartment itself is not so in good condition as they were made in late 80’s or 90’s you have to call the maintenance guy every other week.
desiree helped me out and she was super nice and the complex is super nice. she made it feel super homie on our tour. I like the way the halls are set up I feel a lot safer having 2 doors. there is a washer and dryer inside the building which is cool a lot of places make me walk far. and there’s a lot of things to do around the area
The most recent post is not a good representation of our management. I've been living here for almost a year and the management has been nothing short of amazing. Thet make sure maintenance work gets done, they look into complaints and they are super friendly. Bryan is the guy you want to talk to. Super professional and gets things done. We plan on renewing our lease. The crossing is our home.
Horrible. Spoke to someone at their office and the person told me to come in the following day (Saturday) at 8:00am to submit an application and get everything started. Came back the following day at 8:00am and waited TWO HOURS until someone even arrived. Person took my application fee and $200 refundable deposit and said she will run my application but won’t be able to say right away if I’m qualified or not. I will not get the results until Monday or Tuesday. I call all through out the day Monday (7-8x altogether) and no answer. I go there on Tuesday and the person tells me she still does not have an answer regarding my qualification. So I decide I will no longer go forward with the apartment due to their bad communication. If this is something I have to deal with and I’m just a prospective tenant, imagine what Id have to deal with if I’m already locked in a lease. If any issues come up in my apartment it most likely will not be handled accordingly and will probably fall on deaf ears. So I ask for my refundable deposit back and she tells me come back on Thursday. I come back on Thursday and they are CLOSED. Waste of time, money, and gas. Now I’m out $200 for SIX days, going on SEVEN because they can’t get it together. It’s ridiculous. You need better communication and better staffing. Wasting people time and energy is never okay.
I lived in this apartment for 5 years now & I have a hard time paying my rent every month so I decided to have a room mate for awhile but it didn't work out. So I decided to get another room. Right now I live in a studio with my younger sister & her baby. Me & my little sister only make minimum wage so that's all we can afford. This apartment been really good to me. I never have problems & if I did I could call them anytime to fix it. My lease will be over on Oct. so rent going up. Right now it's 635 & in the end of my lease it will get to 690. I'm staying here because it is quit, very clean & great neighbors.
