Property Ratings at Crossroads Apartment and Townhomes
The cost of living is not worth it to me personally. I’ve lived here for 2 years now and let’s just say I’m ready to go. My move in was completely trash! If you move here, ask if the tenants before had pets, which most of the tenants here do and some have huge dogs. The tenants before us did and there was a flea problem! We couldn’t even move in like normal people because the apartment had to get bomb and looked multiple times. Then the dryer wasn’t drying our clothes properly and maintenance told us to put less clothes in it and that’ll work ?? The amenities don’t really fit our needs and leave that up to preference. The apartments need serious updates to say the least!! Tenants will let their cats out and I’m not a cat person so to be bombarded with a cat at your door was very nerve wrecking for me. MOLD was bad. Having mold in the bathroom is one thing. Mold being in my room and getting on my clothes and stuff is a different ball game. And please be aware that they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for any mold and the professionals they claimed they were contacting nvm came lol go figure!! We had 1 nice maintenance our first year and 1 nice one last year and now this year. The list goes on but in other words.. move at your own risk ???????

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We value your input and are committed to making adjustments to improve going forward.
The rent is too high. The amenities are poor and severely lacking. Management is unprofessional and rude. There is no proper drainage on the property. The grounds are a marsh when it rains or snows. The neighbors are too noisy and management does nothing about it. If I could give it half a star I would.
I wish I could give it no stars. The maintenance is terrible. I have been here for 2 years and have had electrical issues since the start of moving into the townhomes. When they came to look at it he flipped a switch and waited not even a min said it was fine and walked out. The walls are basically cardboard and easily are damaged. We also addressed some very weak spots in the flooring which again was not even looked at.

There was a shooting here recently and management has yet to address it. I don't really feel safe here. Add to that the fact that rent went up significantly and I've only been here a year, it's a no no for me. I will not be renewing my lease here.
Absolute worst place I've ever lived. Maintenance is terrible. I've had closet doors off the tracks for a year that I've put over 3 tickets in and never been fixed. Tonight I have water pouring from my ceiling... have zero faith it'll be fixed tomorrow as promised.
I just recently moved in in July! The management were incredibley kind to me! The guy who showed me the apartment was very nice and down to earth. Also he told me how it was, he didnt sugar coat anything which I really liked. I feel safe here. The guy who showed me around also showed me his place (he lives here) and said if I ever needed anything he's right there. It's quiet. You'll see kids playing on the basketball court when you drive in which I love to see. They gave me a really good price and discount since I bought the apartment the same day I looked at it . Also the maintanence guys come quickly. I put in a request online and they came the same day and fixed everything I needed to be fixed in a very timely fashion. The apartment also Included a washer and dryer which they set up for me and my rent is very low considering I have a washer and dryer. I would definitely recommend it! :)
I lived here with my mom for 19 years when I was growing up. We never really had any problems and everyone was pretty nice. She chose not to renew the lease last fall so we both moved out, and then this past march I moved back with my boyfriend and a friend. Since even before we moved in, we've been getting screwed over by them. First I put a deposit down on one of the front units, and was called a week or so later to ask if I could push my move in date back by 10 days, so I said sure. When it came time to pay our first months rent, we found out they were putting us in the back of the complex, which is whatever but they didn't communicate this to us at all so I had to quickly call Spencerport Electric and Spectrum to change units. Next, we go to look at the townhouse only to find that it is significantly smaller than my old one up front and the one we were supposed to get. When I mentioned this to Megan, she snapped that they were all the same size, even though they clearly aren't. And then we moved in, and a handful of our outlets didn't work, our downstairs toilet was leaking water, our shower wouldn't drain, the list goes on. Finally after living there for two weeks we get it all fixed. And now most recently, I had given Bonny a letter stating I am allowed to have an Emotional Support Animal that will become a service dog. They put down some chemicals in the grass with no letter warning and, given that my dog is a puppy, she picked up something off the ground. She didn't eat it, but whatever was sprayed on the grass was now in her mouth. So naturally I called to make sure whatever they sprayed wasn't toxic to my puppy, and in response they send over Kyle, who was just incredibly rude the entire time insisting they sent out letters and then telling me I'm not allowed to have a dog even though they knew I had her and I'd turned in the papers three weeks prior to the whole situation. Essentially they've been nothing but rude to us (with the exception of Bonny and two of the maintenance guys) and this place has gone downhill by a lot since Megan became the landlady. I'd just avoid the place all together honestly. Megan just has a horrible "I'm better than everyone" attitude and most of the maintenance guys are lazy and rude, and when they do finally show up to do anything if you aren't there to spell it out for them, they'll do nothing.
I have been living here for 3 years its a great place to live. They take care of the grounds well and the staff here are great people. The apartments are spacshious and very nice. We also have a new dog park and have lots of things for kids to do including basketball court and playground. All around great place. Reasonable price too.
My roommate and I live at morgan crossroad apartments. All I can say is that it is very nice and quiet here. The maintenance people are really nice and helpful. The office ladies are really sweet and very helpful. They keep up the yard work and maintenance which makes it a nice community. I've never lived anywhere nicer than here.
I looked at Crossroads for several reasons. I wanted to be in the Spencerport area. I had a friend who had lived there years ago, so I was familiar with the apartments and how nice they are. I also had another friend recently move in there and he recommended it to me. I had quite a bit of correspondence with the staff via e-mail and they were always quick to respond to my questions. The ONLY reason I didn't end up renting there was because they didn't have an apartment available in the time frame I needed. I had to move quickly, as my new job would have been a 75 mile commute from where I used to live. Overall, I'd recommend Crossroads to anyone looking to live on the West side of Monroe County.
