Property Ratings at Crossroads Apartments
Our building is one of the few that got new sliders over the summer, we have had issues with water coming through the top and bottom of the slider area. Now we have carpet damages, on top of water constantly pooling outside said slider and along the whole outside walls. Everything else is fine, but this issue needs to be addressed quickly before more permanent damages happen

They take forever to do maintenance request no matter if it’s serious or small and they lie and tell you maintenance will be out when in reality they just lying to get you off the phone . I honestly wouldn’t recommend them unless it’s like a last option and you’ve tried other places first .
The rent at Crossroads Apartments is cheap and the only utility you pay for is electricity which is great. If you're looking for a cheap place to live, I recommend Crossroads apartments. The location is convenient since it's close to US-131. However, that's where the "pros” end. My apartment had a dishwasher but I gave up on using it since it didn't get my dishes clean and I ended up doing my dishes by hand. The apartments don't have central AC but have in the wall mounted AC units. I was able to cool down the living room but the air did not circulate which made the bedroom hot. In the winter, the heat was turned up way too high which resulted in me often having the windows open in January since there’s no way to control the heat. The hallways smell like smoke and, every time I went in the hallway, I got a big whiff of smoke. Maintenance is the worst part of living there. The apartments don't have a washer or dryer so the laundry facilities are located on the ground floor of the building. My building had three washers and four dryers but it was a miracle if they were all working at any given time. There was a long time where only two of the dryers worked. I called maintenance to inform them of the situation and they said they don’t handle the laundry facilities but that they said they would let the manager know. It was still months before the dryer worked again. At least one of the lights in the hallway of the building was usually out meaning that, at night, it got very dark. The lights in the hallways often flickered. The worst part of the maintenance is that they've never heard the words "snow removal." There were times when I had to shovel my car out of and drive through 12 inches of snow to leave the parking lot. The sidewalks were never shoveled or iced and I took a couple big falls on the ice as a result. The neighbors across the hall from me were obnoxious. This isn't something the apartment complex can control but people in my building called the cops on them several times because of loud fights. They had a tendency to blast their music on full volume at all hours of the night. Also, the apartment I lived in was close to 44th Street. I realize that this may be different depending on which building in the complex you live in but there are at least six buildings in the complex where you could deal with quite a bit of road noise.

Thank you for your feedback and we are very sorry to hear about your experience. We provide all of our residents a 24 hour maintenance service (during closed office hours for emergencies) and I (the manager) inform my staff to let people know to inform us of anything so we can input a work order which are required to not just be completed but resolved within 24-48 hours (depending on the severity). For your dishwasher we would have loved to take a look at it to see what was wrong with it and possibly see if it needed to replaced. Our maintenance staff knows that accumulation of snow of 2 inches or higher means to shovel and clear sidewalks/pathways and the snow plow company to clear parking lots. It can be difficult if we get a lot of snow and the snow plow comes late. We try to advise residents to park on the other side of the lot or over flow spots so we can remove snow from spots people park in. For the laundry rooms, we do go through Gerrit's Appliance and for any issue that we hear about we call them immediately to have fixed. In regards to the hallways, we have hallway cleaners that clean twice a week and we as a community encourage residents to inform us of any issue or concern going on which includes loud noise and or music. If it is during after hours our after hour maintenance staff can verify the noise complaint. We do work with Wyoming Police quite closely to resolve on going issues. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience you experienced here and if you have any questions or comments you can give me a call at 616-531-0770. We are open Monday through Friday (9am-5pm) and Saturday (10am-2pm). This coming Monday we will be closed due to Memorial Day. Thanks
It's a great place, rent is affordable. You don't have to pay for water, heat, has air conditioning, washer/dryer units, a park, grills nearby fast food chains, grocery stores , factories , the highway, electricity is Not bad I spend a lot of time using it and I only pay 30 bucks at the most great place I love it here
