Property Ratings at Crown Point Apartments
I can say I have lived here for many years. Out of all the places I have lived Crown Point is the BEST!!! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The community feels like an extended family. You will enjoy living here! It is pet friendly and you will meet some incredible people. The apartments are beautiful and you will love it as much as I have!
When I moved to crown point my plan was only for a year … I’ve been in my apartment for 3.5 years now and have zero plan of moving in the future. The residents are of all age ranges and the complex always has something going on. Food trucks, pool volleyball, summer parties. I’ve made lifelong friends who I’m happy to call my neighbors. And my two dogs absolutely love their home as well. They have many dog friends and the dog park is a plus! It’s right off the highway but it’s so peaceful as well. Highly recommend Crown Point
I went from owning a large Midwest home on 6 acres to renting an apartment at Crown Pointe. I was nervous about my adjustment. I lived in Crown Pointe for over 3 years and the experience was awesome and exceeded my expectations. Every need and request was not only met, but it was met quickly, efficiently and with the upmost care and respect. The maintenance team is knowledgeable and top notch. The grounds were efficiently well-maintained for all seasons with emphasis on snow plowing, salting sidewalks, grass and landscaping maintenance and cleanliness of the community centers, pools, gyms and grounds. I don’t think I have ever seen a piece of litter on the property. I had very few apartment maintenance issues and the few that I had were very, very minor and were addressed immediately. Kim managed the complex completely, enthusiastically and fairly with all of the residents best interest in mind. Do I recommend Crown Pointe? Yes! Every chance I get. It’s a great place to live.

Hi, Thank you, we truly appreciate such wonderful feedback. Our team strives daily to ensure each resident shares the same experience as you, from top customer service, to pristine property & unit upkeep. Looking forward to continuing to service you!
I have lived in Crown Point for four years. I have yet to have one complaint. In the winter, the parking lots are paved before you are ready to go to work. Inside the apartment, nothing major has ever broken so the apartments function very well When I had even the smallest of maintenance needs, such as changing a light bulb, maintenance always responds either today or tomorrow. The property manager has been at Crown Point for longer than I have. She is excellent. So is the maintenance manager. In summary, I couldn't ask for more.

I have had an incredibly positive experience so far at Crown Point Apartments. It's been nearly two years and I'm looking forward to another upcoming renewal. The staff is incredibly accommodating with all my needs, and my maintenance requests have always been completed the same day or a day later. The neighbors are always welcoming and equally as friendly, the club houses are gorgeous, plenty of activities for all ages, I for one love the pool & gym at the lower clubhouse. Not to mention, the location is perfect distance to shopping and some of the best eats in CT. I absolutely recommend living here, you'd be hard pressed to find a better set of luxury apartments with a friendlier and more accommodating management staff.
I moved into Crown Point a little over 2 years ago. I had a tragedy in my life and had to make some tough decisions in my life, however moving to Crown Point was one of the easiest decisions made. Everyone at Crown Point made me feel welcomed and I was able to reach out to them if I needed anything. My new neighbors have become my good friends and we enjoy spending time at the pool for conversation, cocktails, and cookouts, even having dinners at each others place when we are snowed in. The events the staff puts together are a great way to come together and meet people, your neighbors. But as far as my unit - I LOVE IT! - the space and layout fit my needs perfectly. I feel like I'm home! Thank you to Crown Point and all it's staff.
RENTER'S BEWARE! My fiancee and I lived at Crown Point for 2 years. Let's first start off with the cons while living there - walls are paper thin (you can hear people literally walking down the hallway), packages go missing at the leasing office and their response is "there's nothing we can do, you'll have to take this up with USPS", the snow removal during the winter is awful (we bought our own shovel so that we can actually get out of our parking spot), our elevator's inspection was expired for 2 years before it was actually serviced, and owners are so disrespectful about dog clean up. There's no system to notify people when packages are delivered to the leasing office, instead you are usually told to "go into the back to go find and get your package" no check out system of the packages or anything. We had the pleasure of starting to move out as Crown Point was changing management (sarcasm). During this transition where the leasing portal was down, we paid for 2 months of water and sewage (we paid the EXACT amount that the leasing office told us - which was 60/month over our normal rent) yet after moving out we were charged again by a separate company and were never reimbursed for the water and sewage charges we paid the FIRST time. Why did we pay water & sewage twice??? When we paid our last month's rent, we dropped off our check well before the due date (it was cashed according to our bank records before the due date even happened) yet we were charged a $140 late fee. When I followed up with management at HQ in NJ AND with the leasing office, suddenly no one's emails seem to be working and they didn't have the decency to even respond to me. The management here is a train wreck, no one knows what's going on and I would NOT recommend living here. It might be cheaper than some of the surrounding area, yet not worth the frustration of living in this community.
They have been getting worst and worst... management needs to be changed!! I have been living here for 4 years and this is certainly my last!! The upper clubhouse and pool are barley maintained or cleaned. Non-residents are always here for their weekend picnic at the (upper pool) Few robberies were reported so be very careful if you do live here. Management will try everything to take your money. Don't be fooled by their sales technicians.

Very pleased with the friendly and helpful management staff. Quick response to maintenance issues. Nice community atmosphere and special events. However, we were shocked to find that there is very poor sound insulation between apartments - walls are paper-thin, allowing neighbors to hear all kinds of intimate situations! Also, upset and disappointed to find that the very items listed in the lease that we adhere to, are the same items that we are not protected from, such as pit bulls as pets in the building, frequent marijuana smoking, tenant with firearms, lack of regard to quiet hours.
Have been here 4 months and so far so good. apartment very spacious and well maintained. Office staff friendly and helpful. I love the area and looked extensively for a place with washer/dryer and allowed pets. Happy I moved here.
We have lived here for almost two years now. Gotta say this is going to be the last. The front office at crown point is not cooperative and they pick and choose which rules they want to follow. There are so many issues at crown point especially with the pet rules. There are "rules" about two pets per room and the front office clearly dictates who can have more than two and who cannot. There are bunch of people who have multiple pets and they're apparently entitled to it, but not us. The property manager stated that they have legal documentation to have more than 2 pets. When I asked around people stated they do not have the "docs" nor have they submitted them. They asked the property manager if it's okay and she stated yes to them... Also want to be clear that there are breeds that shouldn't be living here according to their rules and policies, but they allow it anyways. There are amenities that are offered here but half of the stuff is broken (especially up top by the pool club). If you want a hot tub, you better hope you live on the bottom half of the complex because the top half of the residents aren't allowed in it. Also the plowing in the winter is awful. People have fallen on solid ice including myself in the parking lot and on side walk!! I also have a neighbor that isn't happy. He did not give crown point permission to come into his apartment. He had an issue inside his place that needed to be fixed. They put in a work order in, stating to not come into the apt without anyone home. Crown Point also asks the residents if they can or cannot work on the issue if the resident isn't home. The resident did as such to find out when he was home at work that it was fixed when he wasn't home. He then proceeded to talk to the front office... Playing dumb, sent an email asking if his issues at his residence was resolved. They responded Yes it was when he wasn't home. He now has evidence that they went into his apt without his permission. So yes, this our last year here. I am literally counting the days until our lease is up. Future leasers... Good luck.
Moved here almost 3 years ago. Love my apartment! The location is perfect for my wife that works in white plains and the heated garage indoor parking is the best! Property is beautiful and staff is very friendly. Would absolutely recommend
Have lived here 5 years. With this new company and new management, this will be our last year here because it has been by far the worst!

This apartment anywhere else would be twice the rent. Beautifully maintained grounds, great pools. The new management company has really improved the upkeep of the buidings, grounds and amenities. Fast response if you have any issue however small. Located in the beautiful, quiet woods on the border of NY/CT, one mile in from 684. Quick and easy access for your commute. Great food stores close by, like Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Stew Leonards. Danbury Fair Mall 5 min away. Pet friendly, with a pet agility/playground area, and a golf putting area for their humans!
