Nestled alongside the Colorado River in southern Nevada, Laughlin is a unique small town sharing two of its boundaries with state borders—California is to the southwest and Arizona is to the east, just across the Colorado River. Laughlin offers a taste of Las Vegas on a budget, with plenty of riverfront casinos, hotels, and shops.
Away from the bustle of Casino Drive, Laughlin exudes a laidback atmosphere along with vast expanses of land and rugged mountain views. Laughlin also provides ample opportunities for year-round outdoor recreation, from hiking the historic Grapevine Canyon to all kinds of water-based activities on Lake Mohave and the Colorado River.
Laughlin touts a small-town sense of community, which is fostered by events like the Laughlin River Run, barbeque competitions, classic car shows, rodeos, and so much more. Commuting and traveling from Laughlin is easy with convenience to Highways 163, 95, and 68 as well as Laughlin-Bullhead International Airport.

I was totally happy with the nice people in the office. I went to look at an apartment although it was not yet available to look at the time, I was happy with their prices services anyway and hope to rent an apartment soon! Before I complain about things like dead grass or trees, I will first consider where we live the HOT desert and the fact the the apartments were built in like 1984. All things considered I was happy it. I can’t wait to move into a cute lil apartment. Thank you
When we moved in, we had to pay a 350 security deposit and a 450 cleaning fee. The place was not clean when we moved in. The carpets were rumpled and the living room walls were covered in black spots. I cleaned it thoroughly and we managed. Winter set in and the huge crack under the main door and the drafty windows made it unconfortable. Then w e got a new manager and everything went to pot. Trash is collecting all over the place, yard in not maintained, the laundry room is a dump. Summer came and we had no a/c. I put in 2 seperate maintainance requests. After 2 weeks, they finally came. The guys told us that the manager does not check for requests very often so that is why we had been cooking from the heat for 2 weeks, So we decided to move. We paid out move out fees weeks ago. Now we have another bill for what appears to be the cost of them remodeling the apartment. So far, they have charged us $1200 for the privilege of moving out.

We will be happy to look into your move out cost; please contact the leasing office and provide us with your information. We will review move out photos and compare against invoices on accrued expenses related to your unit. Yours truly, Crown Point Management team
To anyone that looks to stay here it's not worth it at all, the staff can be sweet but never get anything done when needed, the bug issue seems to be present in every unit, pets are allowed but dog poops all over the place, and I know it's not a big deal but the mail room is only accessable from 9am to 5pm Monday through Saturday on their office hours so when you work like me it's impossible to retrieve letters. I've had roaches and mice, gas wan never turned on during my stay, appliances were from the 1980's and broken if they even turned on, don't stay here
The property is basically untended to. The paved roads are full of holes. The pet policy is any breed of dog is allowed as long as a letter states it's a service animal. The interior of apartments are basically unlivable and unmantained. Do not move in! Things will only get worse. They have a model home that looks nice but what you get has nothing that looks like the model home. Make sure you took a look at the home that you're actually getting before you sign any contact. I came back from vacation we had 10 bags of leaves that we had to rake up nobody picked up the area out here that we live in it was totally trashed. The pools are not getting properly tended to, they are nasty. . I do not recommend this place to anybody. We are in the process of trying to get out of our lease, we are totally dissatisfied with Crown Point!
3 years of living here and never did I get a correct statement. they shut the water off without notice like 3 times a month and then they blame it on the residents for not signing up to there spam newsletters. You can try to call for matinance, theyll never show up until you threaten to not pay your rent though. And much much more. Do not live here.
I don’t even know where to start. The pools don’t work, the sprinklers don’t work, the grass is completely dead in the dog park and they don’t empty to dog trash. Talking to the office is impossible because 90% of the time they don’t pick up the phone. No one was in the office when I came to sign my lease at a pre-scheduled time. When you do talk to them nothing is their fault, ie “the system sent out that email, we didn’t.” They charge an account set up fee EVERY MONTH for your water. But again, no pool trees are dying and some how that was a $28 water bill for the month plus a $10 and $15 account set up fee. I don’t know about you I have lived in houses in the valley where I didn’t even get that bill quarterly. The apartments are old and dated. The appliances don’t match and I have a stove that is at least 25 years old. My fridge looks like someone dropped it down a flight of stairs. There are soft spots in the floor in the bathroom. Despite being “handicap accessible” not one of the sidewalks on the property complies with that. Nor are there ramps. I don’t know why Clark county does not make them remediate their walk ways. Speaking of walkways, there are no light. Like any where. The exterior building lights do not function. It is pitch black in most areas around my building. Which really sucks because there are also sink holes where you can sprain an ankle. I signed a 6mo lease. I am leaving and there is nothing anyone could possibly say or offer me to stay here. Not that they did. They raised my rent $120 instead. Just seriously, move anywhere but here. This place is horrendous.
Highest rent pools don't work, security gate has NEVER worked, security patrol was fired. If someone is parked in your designated parking spot, office will put a note saying don't park here (they have tagged the same truck 9 times for me, but never tow as the signs stay). Trees are all dieing and the wall towards Billbray Street is knocked down and leaning towards the street
The staff is friendly and the maintenance gets things done quickly!!!! I love the landscaping company and management works well with all the residents!
I love living at Crown Point Apts!!! The maintenance staff is great and the office staff is very helpful.
I love this complex. The management team has been nothing but exceptional. I moved in January 2019. I have been blessed with amazing neighbors. Had issues with my apartment when I moved in, which was addressed in a timely manner. Everytime I walk around the complex I am meeting some amazing people. Most of the tenants are seniors with more families moving in. The kids I have talked to have been respectful. The complex has 560 apartments and 6 maintenance staff, 5 office staff. Lots of responsibility for this group. I think considering the various personalities they deal with everyday, I think they are amazing. Thank you Crown Point Management team for all you do. Peace and Blessings
This place seems to constantly have problems With management refusing to help.- My water heater has black spots all over it and leaving about only 10 minuets to shower.- Ceiling leaks in multiple places whenever it rains leaving mold and a bad smell. -Neighbors constantly smoke in their house leaving you to live in a cloud that smells awful. -I mean I don’t even have a door on my second bedroom. All this not including our cracked out downstairs neighbore who banged on the cieling everyday and night waking my 1 year old and calling the cops at 3 am. Telling them when we’re NOT home that we are running from them around the complex. This place has been quit an experience as I’m now saving every penny I have to buy out my lease and move.
if you want to move in to a place where management does nothing but smoke and talk amongst each other all day you have come to the right place. it wasnt always like this until they brought a new manager, i believe her name is Terra or Teresa. there is a loud obnoxious lady i have heard many times using profanity or racial slurs that hangs around management most days. dont know why she is in the office when she doesnt even work there. i have lived here many years now and this place has gone down immensely. security does nothing but sit in their golf carts with residents and talk. this place needs a new manager and other staff fired ASAP. avoid at all cost. this place is not worth it. the staged apartment they show you looks nothing like the apartment they put you in.
I moved into my apartment home in March of 2015. I love it. I have access to everything I need, and love the amenities AND especially the security that they offer. Between the screening that management does to ensure great tenants and the security patrol, they really do a great job of keeping our community safe. Thank you to our management team and our security patrol.
These are great apartments to live in, Close to the Casinos, The areas are maintained and Very clean. Two big pools and spas, BBQ areas, Bedrooms are big, Patios are nice to sit and relax Lots of Trees with shade, Pets are allowed.
I recently renewed my lease. Staff is courteous and very helpful. They always respond timely to my maintenance requests. The apartments are spacious and the complex is beautifully landscaped.
I moved into my apartment home in January, 2015. I love it. I have access to everything I need, and love the amenities they offer. The Property Management staff are great and always smiling and willing to help if you have anything you need to do. To be honest, I don't really want to promote it too much, because I don't want to jinx it, and have anything go wrong. If that makes sense. I just want to win the free rent, because that would be sweet!
When we moved in, June 2013 the entirety of the grounds were well kept and the courtesy patrol was 7 nights a week doing more than driving around in a golf cart. Since Stout made the agreement to purchase in property in Fall of 2013 the overall availability of assets to management for maintenance of the property have apparently dwindled. The landscaping company only maintains the grounds readily visible to the public; corners connected to AA St, grounds around the office and model apartments. Our air conditioning broke twice during our residence, under ConAm it was addressed immediately, but it took a week under Stout. Overall the place has gone from 5 stars to 3 because of the choice in management company. In relation to other complexes available in the area this is certainly the best value, the actual office staff is friendly, but the maintenance staff seems a bit overwhelmed and outside their skill level.
Property Manager at Desert Bay Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for your feedback! Yes we did get a new management company in November of 2013, and as with every change, we know that there are some differences between the two. Our greatest assets are our residents, and we strive to keep Crown Point a great place to live and thrive. We do value your input, as it helps us to recognize any issues we may have, and rectify them immediately. Thank you for being one of our valued residents and continuing to make Crown Point your home!
