Property Ratings at Crowne at Cahaba River
These apartments are about what you’d expect from an apartment I guess . The positives are the community has good maintenance and is quick to respond to any issue. The negatives are this community is extremely noisy and somewhat trashy. In the past couple of years it seems to be overrun with people smoking weed, which you can smell everywhere, and people with loud muscle cars that come and go at all hours of the day and night. I literally had a painting / piece of art fall off my wall because of someone’s exhaust shaking the walls. They’re of course your typical apartments: thin walls, tight quarters so you can hear everything. There’s also some construction going on next door with doesn’t help. The amenities are nice but not centrally located. The pool is always super clean and the gym is well maintained. There’s an office area and common area that seems to get little use but look very nice. All in all, just keep in mind it’s a really noisy place.

The size of my apartment is perfect... I have the Hampton plan. I am on my 2nd year lease and will probably renew again. The staff are awesome! The maintenance guys rock! The grounds are kept well. I feel safe! Great amenities... I go the the complex gym several times a week (always clean) and great equipment. I use the grills, we watch football at the community area and we have fun at the pool. Why should I ever leave?

I have loved living at this community, there are amazing amenities and the leasing agents and maintenance staff are incredible. April has gone above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and appreciated as a resident, I am leaving the community in two months and she still goes above and beyond to make sure that I am happy knowing that my lease is about to end. I would love to stay in this community, but I am moving cities. Also the maintenance man Jamall is incredible, he is kind and hard-working and also has Always takes care of any maintenance Needs within the same day.

I have loved Crowne at Cahaba so much (been here over a year). It’s very quiet and in such a great spot off 280 and 459! Something that was important to me was finding a place with community. With pool events, food trucks, and resident events (make your own pizza, breakfast on us, etc), they really build that intentionality with each resident. I’ve never had a major pest control issue, on-call maintenance is always reliable and are quick to respond. Very nice modern style apartments with great room layout options.

I have lived in about 6 or 7 different apartment complexes. None compare to Crowne at Cahaba River. My wife and I have lived here for over a 1.5 yrs now. The staff here is so kind and efficient. They have numerous opportunities throughout the month to connect with fellow residents, win prizes, or just simply enjoy a nice treat. The ladies in the office remember my wife and I by name and apartment number. Whenever we input maintenance requests, they are very quick to remedy the issue no matter how big or small! They are always looking for way to improve the living here as well. Overall, the apartments and environment is beautiful, the staff is caring, and the whole operation is managed extremely efficiently.

Do not waste your time with this community, they will tell you that you that they have an apartment to reserve, and then bait and switch, as they do not have it available. They will offer a refund on the fee of $355 that they will then refuse to honor.

I love this community because the apartments are gorgeous and spacious. All staff is very nice and professional and always go the extra mile. This community is comprised of many professionals who take pride in their living area. There's convenient access to many restaurants and major highways.

I have lived here for two years. The staff is always welcomed me with big smiles. They know my name and my dog’s name. Any time I need something they respond within the day if it is during office hours. The apartments are as advertised and look as nice as the pictures. All neighbors are friendly. There are many people who are out walking throughout the day and who I have gotten to know. If you are looking for a community and not just a home, choose Crowne at Cahaba!

It really only takes one negative interaction to sour a relationship completely. Received a call from one of the front office employees grilling me about an internal Crowne survey I had filled out. She took such an unpleasant tone with me. Like she was reprimanding me. It definitely was not appreciated. Unfortunately for me my that employee is my neighbor which now makes living here very awkward.

We just moved out of Crowne (we were building a house and it finished!) but we were very sad to leave the apartment. First, the office staff are amazing people. They were extremely quick to help with any and all questions or concerns during the leasing process. It was nice to have all paper online and to be able to finish the leasing process online. Second, the apartments are extremely nice and upgraded! We had a first/ground level 2-bedroom apartment. The apartment had very nice hardwood floors, granite countertops and pretty nice appliances (for apartment living). I have lived in multiple apartments, and even new construction apartments, these were by far the nicest. Third, the pool and grounds were kept very clean. The apartment complex did a very nice job with the pool and beautiful landscaping. Lastly, the atmosphere is very friendly. Everyone we would meet while out walking our dog (both staff or fellow renters) were all quick to start conversations. It is a very dog/pet friendly apartment complex. Just beware, apartment living does come with some noise. I think they did a pretty good job of sound barrier, but neighbors can still be noisy!
I just moved into this apartment complex, and I will adjust my review if necessary. With that being said, this place is exactly like I expected. I researched available apartments and finally settled on this one. Everything they advertised is true. The apartments are new and clean. The staff here is extremely friendly and the place is beautiful. I am very pleased with my decision to move here.

My experience living at Crowne at Cahaba River has exceeded even my own high expectations. The apartments are incredibly luxurious. It feels more like a house than an apartment. The apartment has all of the great features one could want - granite countertops, high-end appliances, and wood-inspired blinds and floors. In addition to how great the apartments are, what really sets the complex apart from others is the commitment to customer service that I've rarely seen in many years of apartment living. It's very important to the Crowne at Cahaba staff that the residents are completely satisfied and the staff goes the extra mile in everything they do. I can't say enough good things about living at this property and I would highly recommend it.
