Property Ratings at Crowne at James Landing
The community has gone extremely downhill. The property only cares about the upkeep of the buildings near the front of the property. They do nothing in regards to loud neighbors, there is ABSOLUTELY no parking and the parking lot is not well lit. So if you are a single female coming home late at night this would not be a ideal property for you. They allow non residents to come off the street and work out in the gym without knowing a resident. And when you report this to the office staff they will just say “yeah we know” and will do nothing about it. This is another instance where this complex does not care about the safety of residents. Also good luck on getting your security deposit back. It is like pulling teeth to get them to give it back. They will just give you the runaround and it will take at least three months if your lucky. The majority of the office staff is also horrible and lack professionalism and can never answer simple questions. They’d rather lie and tell you anything so that they won’t have to do their job. The maintenance staff is the only plus to this complex. They are great and very fast to come out and fix things. For the rent they are charging you can get in a newer complex with better amenities for the same price.

Unfortunately all the niceness leaves the conversation as soon as you sign the lease. One employee will say one thing and another employee says another. The only time they all had their story straight was when a package was delivered to the wrong apartment. They know exactly what they're doing be warned.

I applied online paid the application fee, then called to cancel application. Was advised I would not get the $35 application fee back, even though they didn’t process my application, I needed to wait to move due to death in my family.
