Property Ratings at Crowne at Rio Vista
If I could give zero stars I would. I'm currently a resident and my 21 year old son was supposed to move into his own unit today. After being in continuous contact about his move in date he was told the day of move in that the elevators were broken, after already taking an unpaid day off from work. When I called the office I spoke with Shelby, who said the elevators had stopped working 3 days ago, and they still have no idea when they will be fixed. I proceeded to let her know that my son is unable to move furniture up to his 4th floor apartment using the stairs and would be seeking a pro rated rent amount for the days he could not move in. Shelby said that would not happen and said he needed to use the stairs to move large furniture with zero notice of them being out of service. I let her know I wanted contact information to escalate it to corporate and she refused, then proceeded to speak loudly and continuously interrupt me. I had to directly tell her to stop interrupting and then she hung up on me. Residents are customers. There is no profession where it's acceptable to yell, interrupt and then hang up on a customer ever. Immature, childish, and pathetic behavior from a person in a management office or position.
