People around the world know Bentonville as the birthplace and corporate headquarters of Walmart, the global economic powerhouse that began as a humble Main Street storefront. And even though Walmart is the undisputed business center of the city and the region (including the hundreds of vendors who have set up shop in the area to be closer to the retail giant’s home office), Bentonville retains a very cozy, down-home environment.
Even after seeing explosive growth in recent decades, the local population is still only around 50,000, the crime rate is very low, and the public schools earn top marks. Downtown is a charming district of historic buildings and hosts the monthly First Friday celebrations, which draw thousands of folks to enjoy free music performances and check out local artists at work.

Property Ratings at Crystal Flats CLO
The building and apartment looks beautiful but it’s not built well and it has thin wells. I tend to hear a good bit from around me which can be irritating at times. Also - the amenities are for 600+ units so while they look nice they’re extremely small. They aren’t very truthful about amentities, they say there is a yoga Pilates room and a gym but the gym is smaller than my room and the yoga room is a waste of space. Pool space is nice but tends to get crowded since there are so many units. Apartment is very dog friendly but there are times where there dogs pee and poop in the elevators and halls and it smells terrible. On the bright side, the rent is a good value but the convenience package isn’t a good deal for what you get. Utilities used to be included in rent but this year they added a $250 monthly convenience package and didn’t decrease rent. There used to be plenty of parking but it’s starting to fill up a bit too. Maintenance requests are quick to be responded to and the front desk is nice. Overall, I like the location and the apartments but the quality of the building and the amenities are very poor

The apartments apparently were poorly constructed originally. Construction crews have made major repairs over several months resulting in flooding, noise, property damage and repeated unannounced entry into apartments. Management proved ineffective in addressing concerns and made little or no effort to provide relief. Communication with management was difficult and inconsistent at best.
