Crystal Springs

Nothing works. Toilets are constantly clogging even tho we’re not stuffing toilet paper down it. There’s no pressure in the sinks. They never repaired broken tiles in the bathrooms. Our washing machine is plugged in on the opposite so if you want to wash your clothes in cold water you have to set it to hot. Our ac stopped working and I moved in 3 months ago. They also walked in on me in the shower with no warning except a knock… of course I’m not going to answer that doesn’t mean come in, mind you I’m a woman and have a young daughter. Don’t even call them. They have you blindly sign a lease and will make excuses as to why they can’t show you the unit lol it’s ratchet out here. Watch out!

I have asked management to clean the air ducts in my apartment and they refused. My child has bad allergies and gets sick because of the filthy vents. They are very rude and untrustworthy here

Terrible maintenance and customer service. Appliance broke down the day we moved in. Took weeks to get a replacement. Currently have mice and no one will return my calls from the hotline or local office (said they made a ticket which was 3 weeks ago). They’re failing to rebrand and seems like they change mgmt every quarter. Neighbors are messy and leave their trash around the mailboxes, walls are super thin (can hear neighbors talking and starting their showers every day). Good size apt but everything in held together by a bandaid.

She provide me with customer service, she tore me around and it’s look like it’s a great place to live here, great customer service ??.

Living here is like living in hell! A few months ago my good neighbor has attracted by robberies that came into his house late at night. There is no security or camera around. He and his whole family were hurt. The apartment does not follow up with residents. They do not respect people who live there. Their customer service is terrible. It'S NOT SAFE! Would you want to be robbed and hurt? They did not do anything after that to keep the community safe. THEY ARE TRASH. I already moved out. There should be some kind of regulation to have those staff in that leasing office to do their JOB right. This is unacceptable. I wasted my money living there and feeling unsafe for my family.

I was multiple gunshot wounds by armed robbery inside my apartment. I was hospitalized for 2 months. By miraculously l survived. God is great. The management staff of this apartment is so careless & irresponsible people. My family and I were traumatized because of the terrible happened to us. I politely asked them to shift me to another apartment but they are not willing to do that. Then I left the apartment because it does not a safe place to stay. Now they sent me a letter via debt collection to pay in advance. THIS IS REALLY UNFAIR. I have legitimate reasons to break up my lease agreement. I will fight them in front of the Court House. Please please ?? don't even think to rent there.

While management has always been pleasant in person, too many things have gone wrong here to make me want to stay. Within the first month, an appliance of ours broke. Since the maintenance staff is severely understaffed, it took a month for them to fix it. Shortly afterwards, another appliance of ours broke and it took over 2 months for them to fix that! I've had to reorder numerous packages due to them being lost or stolen. Management also gives almost 0 notice for really important information. For example, on a Thursday night, they told everyone that parked in a certain area of the lot to move their cars by Friday morning or they would be fined $50.00. Like, what?! They gave less then a days notice (after business hours!) and threatened to fine people for something they gave 0 notice about. They didn't even explain why people had to move their cars. In addition, they scheduled a roach treatment with less than a weeks notice to tenants. We have only a couple days to figure out where to lodge our pet, how we're going to clean out all of our dishes, food, etc. from our cabinets, and have to stay out of the apartment for up to 4 hours after the treatment so we dont get sick. They also threatened to fine anyone who doesn't follow these instructions $275.00. Truly wild. I've never lived anywhere that threatens their tenants like this. In summary, the apartment itself is nice (spacious, clean) but appliances are likely to break because they're cheap. Management is nice, but you will definitely be inconvenienced during your stay here. Bottom line: It's an ok place to stay for a short period of time, but definitely not a place to settle.

GinaMarie is a awesome manager! She helped me moved in and did everything for me Pepco renters insurance etc! I loved working with her! I would tell anyone to go see her. My sister and brother recommend me and my husband to her.

Mrs Ana is a great leasing agent and very detailed about the apartment and answered all of our questions.

crystal springs is beautiful community and the staff is amazing, preferably one young lady Ms.Gina. She’s amazing and has the greatest customer service I’ve ever encountered. She’s one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet , and very professional while working at crystal springs!!

i'm living at crystal springs with my husband and we are happy. we love the community and we love Gina. shes great and her can do attitude is very noticeable. we appreciate all she does for us and we will be renewing come November.

I visited the Crystal City Apartments complex on 8/25/18, and I was impressed with the visit! The complex was quiet and peaceful, and the grounds looked well-cared for. When I entered the office, I was greeted warmly by Michelle and the rest of the Leasing Office staff. I had a chance to talk with Michelle about the apartment and the grounds. I appreciate that she answered all of my questions, and made it clear the staff does their best to work with the residents. I loved the model for the apartment, and am hoping to get to live there.

We've been living at Crystal Springs for 4 years and we are very happy to live here and also we are very thankful to the employees and special with Michelle because she is always is with a great attitude and try to help in any way possible. Thank you for everything. :)

I toured last week with Gina Marie and I am expecting to move in next week. Gina Marie is great and I love her personality -she sold the heck out of the apartment that I am moving into. I can't want to get my keys.

The leasing department is very kind and very helpful. Michelle and Gabby have always been very professional,helpful and attentive. The entire staff has been great.

My family has been looking for a place to move from another state. After cheking up to 12 different communities we have decided to stay at Crystal Springs Apartments. Great locality, good price and friendly staff. We would like to say Thank you to the manager Ana Almada who helped us a lot. So we were able to make a right decision.

I have been living here for about 2 years and when I first came in GinaMarie was a leasing manager and now she sits in the back office as the assistant manager. from then until now she has always been so good to me. She is the biggest reason why I renewed, that and i love my apartment. I love this girl, when i'm upset about something not being done or concerned about anything about my apartment she ALWAYS puts me at ease. Not to mention she always calls me beautiful. If I had a company she would be running it because she is so great.

So far my experience has been great, GinaMarie took me to see an apartment and soon after I put my applicant in. GinaMarie was fast on getting me approved and she communicated with me every step of the way! She is excellent, and very nice. So far I am happy and I can not wait to get keys today!!!

I visited Crystal Springs Apartments today, Gabby was very helpful. i loved the apartment that i was showed, i love the kitchen, the flooring and the bedroom and bath size. i will be applying today!

I have visited several communities in silver spring and aspen hill and this is one of the best. The community is older, however it has a warm feel to it. I love everyone in the office but my favorite is GinaMarie Hodge. She's so professional to be her age and she's very pretty, her hair styles are always so cute and shes EXTREMELY knowledgeable on all HOC information!! If you decide to lease anywhere on Georgia Ave, stop by crystal springs and see GinaMarie.. I promise you won't be disappointment!

From the first phone call I knew this would be a place I could call home! I had the opportunity to work with three women from the leasing office, GinaMarie is the young lady who called to set the appointment, she was such a sweetheart, well spoken and very accommodating. She set the appointment with Gabby.. This young lady was very polite when I came in she provided me with much information, and she did a very good job showing me the apartment. I was passed back to GinaMarie to start my application, however I soon found out that I didn’t income qualify because I lost my job. I called to inform GinaMarie that I would not be able to move forward but she was unavailable, so I spoke with a young woman name Michelle who’s is a rockstar! She apologized about me losing my job and told me in the event things change to stop by and applied. I just came in last week and GinaMarie helped me. I can’t wait to move to Crystal Springs.

My family and I have lived at Crystal Springs since 2013 when it was under the old management. Since they management changed they have made many improvements that have made me decide to stay every year. For instance, package theft used to be a really big problem but Gina started accepted packages at the office last year which made me feel a lot better during the Christmas season. Gabby is always very helpful with visitor passes for my guests and even though parking is still tight I know they are trying to make sure that only residents and legit visitors park here. Stephanie the office manager is always willing to listen to my concerns and suggestions even though she is always busy. My kids love living here because their school has an after school club next to the gym where they have snacks and do activities to keep them busy which helps me too! I recommend if you are looking for an place to live that you give Crystal Springs a chance

Even though it didn't work out in the end with the confusion of the lease, Michelle was super nice about it the entire time and was always helpful in attending to potential needs of apartment viewing/lease negotiation. Would recommend her service 10/10 to potential residents.

We just moved in to this beautiful community at Crystal Springs. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The apartment is very spacious and bright. Our children love their room because its big enough for them to play and relax. We love that we all have our own little space if we need to get away from one another. Im loving this development and I look foward to our time here. I cant wait to start decorating for the holidays.

Crystal Springs, formally known as "The Manor" has changed management. Under the former name it revolved from a high crime and poor living spot to a reasonable place to live. However, like the saying always goes, "Its hard to get rid of the original perception." The pendulum has started to swing in a negative direction again and my move is imminent. They are now extending move in incentives and recruitment incentives to fill the vacant units. The washers and dryers located in the basement are antiquated and towing is done excessively for unacceptable reasons. Hopefully things will get better, but for me....."I OUT."

These apartments are wonderful, the are is always kept clean, friendly community && a pet friendly neighborhood. The manangment is excellent. And so is maintenance. I would recommend anybody to home here.

My apartment complex is very comfortable, the people here a very friendly. We have great maintenance crew that's always there when you need them, anything you need to make living here comfortable they will see to it. The people that lives in the complex are very friendly and no one ever complain that I know of. Overall its fun living here. If anyone decides to live here they wont regret it

I have been living in crystal springs about a year now and honestly I could say it has been a very comforting experience. To be honest when I first moved in,I did not think it would be all that great, but it turned out to be a great place to live. They have a pool which is open every summer and a gym which was just remodeled last month . The employees at crystal springs are very polite and hard-working . Whenever we have a problem in the apartment such as the kitchen sink getting clogged, they come to fix the problem pretty fast. They are people who know what they're doing and also people who are good at they do. Overall I can say that living at crystal springs has been quite an excellent experience.
