Nestled just north of I-30, North Arlington is an idyllic neighborhood with a distinct suburban atmosphere. Wide roads are lined with lush trees and modern homes throughout North Arlington, while North Collins Street touts plenty of familiar commercial offerings, from chain restaurants to national retailers.
North Arlington’s sprawling parks and scenic golf courses stand in stark contrast to the bustling environment on the southern side of I-30, which is where you’ll find popular destinations like Six Flags Over Texas, Globe Life Park (home of the Texas Rangers), and AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys). North Arlington residents enjoy a quiet place to come home to as well as convenience to some of the Metroplex’s most exciting amenities.

Property Ratings at Current at the Grid
If I could give no starts I honestly would. The complex is geographically placed in a great spot, you're walking distance from literally anything you can think of, but that's the only good thing about this place. I moved in last month from another state, and while I was on the road I got a call saying that my place was not finished. I got there and the place was completely undone. The showroom on the websites look NOTHING like the actually units. I ended up in a totally different unit that was partially renovated. It has no tub, only a shower so my 3 year old son falls in it every night. I had to take it though because it was either that or be homeless. They dump all of their problems on one person in the office and she can't reach everybody on her own. The office manager lives across the street so I don't know why she's never there to help. One girl answers the phone and places you on hold for 30 minutes at at time so that you hang up. Maintenance deems everything as "non life threatening or important," so they never show up if you need something fixed.... But they make sure to charge you on time every month. They even add extra money to your rent for stuff you'll never use like their version of Uber. This place just isn't worth the headache.
Management is terrible- never answers calls or e-mails, quality of the apartment is terrible, and the infestations (both roach and mouse) are AWFUL. They are currently fumigating buildings one by one because it is such a widespread problem. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
Don’t answer the phones. Unprofessional. Rude. Rude. Rude. Wont fix anything. Only care about the landscaping.
They never answer on the phone. I applied for an apartment and then they kept asking me for more deposits and more money without any explanation. They told me that any problem returned my money and they stayed with 400 dollars and the secretary was not friendly
Do not go with the property's promotional offer because you will not get a refund when they screw you over. I have an excellent credit record and high recommendation from my previous landlord but current at the grid decides to add a last minute 200 dollar risk assessment fee after I paid 500 dollars for the apartment move in special promo. They dont even have the apartment ready on the move in date and told me I have to wait for a couple of days. It's also hard to get a hold of the business office. Too many red flags. Stay away.
I had put money down for an apartment at this complex and was ready to move in - because of Reina, I did not. Very disappointed. Reina was the women I was in contact with to get this apartment. She was insanely rude, she commented on my driving as well as how I am "all over the place ". Mind you, I have been nothing but nice and patient with all of the staff. They'd tell me a day to come in and look at an apartment, and when I arrived after a 20 minute drive told me it wasn't available to look at yet. This happened 2 different times. Honestly, it gave me a really big impression on how this complex is ran. Rude staff. Unorganized. Disingenuous. By the way, I got my money back and could not be more relieved that I didn't move in. For those of you who want a decent staff at your apartment, this is NOT the place for you.
I lived here for a year. Very over priced for what you get. Most of the buildings are infested with roaches. Management will swear they aren't, but your neighbors will say otherwise. Speaking of neighbors, you'll get to feel your apartment shake at all hours of the day and night with their mariachi music. Management is not helpful and never answers phones. Also, I've been trying for the past month and a half to get my deposit and they have told me is in the mail (four times) and when I've come to the office, they tell me my roommate got it (not true) and now they're saying I can't pick it up, even though my name is on the lease and the original deposit. Don't waste your time here.
I have been living here for over three years with my husband. We have felt so comfortable and at home here. Our apartment is beautifully painted and finished, the staff has been so welcoming and accommodating to some of our special needs as I have a chronic medical condition. We live in a quiet corner where all 3 other neighbors are quiet families. We all have gotten to know one another and watch out for each other...feed each other's pets for vacations etc. The staff is cheerful and friendly and the rent is very well spent for all that we get with modern upgraded lights and blinds, and we LOVE our floor. I think it's called plank--but it is so easy to care for. If you are looking for a place to be happy--this is it. And by the way PS if you have young children or grandchildren, the pool that is always beautiful and clean is graduated so it has a very long shallow end for the little ones to play in. WINNING!

We are under New Management we just acquired the property in December 2015. The Preslee Apartment Homes are here to make you feel right at home. We cater to our residents making sure they get taking care of. Please come by the office and check out our NEW RENOVATIONS and UPGRADES. We also have a move in special for the month of Feb/March....
The Valencia apartments in Arlington aren't really concerned with the people that live in the property. We didn't have hot water for two days, and come to find out, it was because of a gas leak. It would have been nice to know the apartment complex had a gas leak. This has been a real bad experience with apartment living.
I enjoyed my apt at the Cypress Chase property right off the bat. My own space, on a familiar side of town with nearby friends & resources. As time progressed towards the summer..safety, foundation & pest issues escalated from minor and excusable to major and obvious. Weekly from late May through a scorching month of July I informed the leasing office of roaches in the unit & they complied twice with pest control services in which there was a light spray of general areas in my restroom, kitchen, & nothing extending those areas. Passed these visits and further notifying office reps of multiple sightings in my restroom sink, kitchen and often across my living room floor, (one in particular with company over where my friend killed one above my head on the wall without my knowledge), I was told pest control would re-assert these areas on specific dates, though no one showed for 5 weeks consecutively. This drove me to withhold rent protecting my tenants rights. Visitors and maintenance walk throughs will vouch for my organization and cleanliness leading me to believe I did not bring about my own infestation. I was told neighbors behind me in the building caused the problem and moved out but problems didn't cease because of this. Adding to that, in early Aug my apt was broken into after I had left one Monday evening. It was rummaged through and some of my clothes and belongings were stolen. Cypress Chase has a security guard service that comes Thurs - Sun supposedly, this is as well inconsistent. Times I've noticed security he has never patrolled the front street of the property only the back half putting units such as mine at risk to bypassers with malicious intent. I feel the frequency of securing your tenants well being should be higher than just weekends when other complexes notably have week-long surveillance systems. During my lease term, I didn't feel like Cypress Chase was an established business, moreso newcomers trying to satisfy Texas renters code, with as little money as possible invested into improvements. It's a contagious lack of care & upkeep type of mentality on that side of town exhibited by their staff that ultimately turned me off. If I'm paying rent for an apt & early*, no matter what the condition of the area I'm staying in is, my best interest should be valued as much as an occupant's in a top tier complex. I wonder nowadays if properties just want my money for a short period of time rather than my long term residency.
The apartments are very nice. The office staff is easy to talk to and take their tenets opinions to heart and will do anything to make their residents happy. Easily accessible to sporting events and dinning
