Not recommended at all. Main issue is management company which has run this building into the ground. Problems are too many to list but hopefully you like paying extra for a building lousy with mice, unprofessional staff, isn't cleaned well or frequently at all, or for your packages to be stolen. Avoid like the plague.

For all concerns regarding pest control and community maintenance we encourage residents to submit a service request online through the Res App as soon as they notice an issue. At that point, our team can immediately begin contacting the appropriate vendors and scheduling times to address each concern. Our team does all that they can to provide deterrents for criminal activity, however, we cannot 100% prevent crime from occurring. All couriers have been instructed on the community's policies regarding proper delivery procedures. If you believe your package was stolen we encourage you to reach out to the carrier directly as sometimes the package is delivered to the wrong address. The carriers have scanners equipped with GPS tracking and inspectors who can locate exactly where the package was delivered. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Electric scooter stolen from secure location that only has FOB access. Packages stolen. I have had hundreds stolen and they told me I am the only one- when every other person I have spoken with has the same problem. Safety risks with how they maintain fire alarms. Liars and awful awful place. Virtually any other location is better.
1. Management is unresponsive to issues 2. Packages “go missing” and they do nothing to help- I’ve had 4 “go missing” with confirmed delivery - as have all other tenants I have spoken with- Currents does nothing. A friend has baby clothes stolen, packages ripped open and contents taken- still Currents does nothing. 3. When I moved in, the apartment was dirty. The dish washer was broken, the shower did not work, the screen were broken, there were dead bugs in all the lights, the fridge didn’t work, and the HVAC was a legitimate health hazard. I took photo evidence and asked them to both clean it and replace the filter. They replaced the filter with cheapest possible AND DID NOT CLEAN IT. They then lied and said by opening (taking vent off with 4 screws) would “break” the unti trying to bully me into not checking it. 4. THE FIRE ALARM GOES OFF REGULARLY at 2 AM due to Currents failure to weather proof the fire poles on East and West courtyard as confirmed by Waltham Fire Marshall. But THEY DO NOT ADDRESS IT OR FIX IT. It is a massive safety risk- this a management does not care. STAY AWAY.
Management does not care. They charge a fee for “package acceptance” that means nothing. Packages “go missing” and management does not. Claims does not happen with anyone else- yet each tenant has the same issue. Someone even went into the package room, opened random packages, took content- and still nothing. Fire alarm goes off due to faulty system. We are told nothing and they do nothing to fix it. Slum pretending to be a diamond. Look anywhere else.
Fire alarms have been going off every few weeks due to a malfunctioning system. Usually it happens a few times in a row on consecutive days and then nothing for 3-4 weeks. Management pretends that the issue is fixed despite the continued alarms. They refuse to replace the system with a functioning one. Do not live here unless you can stand being woken up in the middle of the night by a fire alarm at least once a month.
Since June I have counted 7 excruciatingly loud false fire alarms that forces the ENTIRE building to evacuate. The building-wide fire alarm system is goes off randomly at any time during the day or night (I've counted three going off between midnight and 3 AM), seems to be happening few weeks. Building management is aware and seems to have not taken any effective measures to prevent them. Otherwise, the building and the facilities are lovely, but these alarms reduces building safety and are anxiety inducing.
I moved to Waltham from Atlanta and found the Currents to fit all my needs for such a big move. Top notch amenities! Beautiful greenspace! Convenient to Moody and Main, Newton, Watertown, and Boston. Callah, Chelsea, and Chris have been extremely responsive and helpful in getting me settled into a new city and new apartment. Neighbors are very friendly and there are monthly social activities to get you introduced to people. All in all, I would highly recommend these apartments.

This is a beautiful upscale modern building with lots of amenities, pool, beautiful lounge, great workout facility, covered garage and right along the Charles River with an amazing walking trail. The problem is if you rent an apartment of the 4th Floor (top) they neglect to tell you about the AC condenser on the roof that sounds like a Mac truck running. It's so loud at times that you have to turn the television up. Not worth the money for what should be a first class apartment, diminished by an AC unit that can't be moved or fixed.
Beautiful apartments with excellent amenities. I love and appreciate that the building is pet friendly, and the team here really exemplifies what it means to build a community.
I just moved into this new building in June and have been pretty happy. There are your usual new building snaffoos, but all in all the building management has taken care of my complaints!
