Property Ratings at Cypress Lake
The management is TERRIBLE; let’s just start with maintenance requests. If you put in a maintenance request to get anything fixed or taken care of be prepared to wait weeks and months before they come. I put in a maintenance request for my light in my fridge over a year ago (That’s right in 2023) and it’s still not fixed. Also I put in a request for pest control to come and spray which took over 1 month to finally get someone to come. (Keep in mind tenants are paying for this, it’s included in the rent) Roaches are BAD they come from outside and due to no pest control coming EVER they populate…The apartment next to me flooded and I had water damage in my apartment on my carpet, it had a horrible smell so I put in a maintenance request; they said they’d be back on Thursday and never showed up it took almost 2-3 months before they replaced the wet carpet. (After 2-3 maintenance requests) They NEVER change air filters I’ve been here over 2 years and the filter was never replaced. (I had to request it he replaced) Black mold is all over the vent so I’m sure it’s in other places as well and only got painted over. Cars will be broken into if not careful they have junkies and homeless people walking up and down the streets every single night/day my car was broken into 3 times and my girlfriend’s car once. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! You’re better off living under bridge you’ll have less problems.

Anonymous, We apologize that your experience was not a good one for you and appreciate you leaving your feedback. Please let us know if there is anything we can assist with.
When my apartment flooded it was never sprayed for mold or given new carpet. For the past months mold has been growing in my restroom. All that was done was a spray paint job over the vent. Mold is still growing on the inside of it. Things like this make it very tempting for me to break lease. My god son has asthma. I will not let him step foot in this apartment because of the health hazards. If you’re looking for an apartment save your time and look somewhere is. BECAUSE THIS AINT IT PERIOD.

My apartment flooded less than a month of me living here. The crazy part is management has disliked me since MY APARTMENT flooded due to their poor plumbing in the unit above me. They didn’t even replace the carpet. Hate that I signed a lease here.

Really this you can not be the price of these appt at this moment in only three months that I have been here this rent have risen horrible and the conditions of the complex getting worse a pool that is in total deterioration with green waters and creating a mosquito focus the electric grilles at the entrance takes damaged days and the garbage at the end is with a horrible smell and there is no where to put a garbage bag reaches the fence if this is the receipt of rent here at this time this will be empty. It is a lack of respect
It's a very nice place I've been here for three months have improved many things as the cleaning see the common areas I still insist on the pool area is very abandoned always dirty ares so nice and when you spend and the time so disappointing because it is part of the environment and although one does not use it all the time it must always be in optimal conditions when one rents here they do not tell him that this area can only be used twice in the year, in this there is a lot to improve in the era of blocks 8.9 , 10 is really horrible as the tenants do not care about the cleanliness they pull all my apartment is nice and comfortable tyfanny is very nice with a little bit of improvements is a nice place
My brother Linex and I went for a tour of the grounds and we were so impressed!! Norma was so awesome and eager to assist us which made us feel so comfortable and at ease!! Hopefully I will become a tenant soon because I adore these apartments!!!

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. Your opinion is important to us! You really made our day with all your positive feedback and compliments. Thank You!
I have always loved the atmosphere and the grounds. Security has been a positive experience as well. Management upon moving in was not up to par at all though. New Management is trying to fix what the last staff management couldn't do. Upon moving in, in 2017, my experience was a nightmare to get them to follow through on management responsibilities and repairs to my apartment. KUDOS to the new management. The act fast and follow through. I do wish there was a small play area for children though.

Not as good as the past owners and management. Maintenance is okay but needs improvement.
It was much better before the current management. There's no one at the office whenever I called. It's difficult to get hold of anybody. They are trying trying but needs a lot of improvements. The new staff is not as friendly as when Kelly was still the manager. The rent increased again. Not happy about that.
