We've been living in this apartment for over two years now, since 2022. We've made some good memories here. Just a few weeks ago, we filled out the paperwork to move out. But what happened today really made me angry. Today's incident showed us how poorly the office handles residents' stuff. Our car was parked in someone else's spot by mistake, just five feet away from where we rented for the last 2 years. It was dark, and we didn't double-check the spot number. Honestly, this could happen to anyone living in an apartment. The next day, when we were getting ready to leave home, we realized our car was gone. We called the police and found out it had been towed. So, we went to the leasing office, but the person working there didn't even know what had happened. The towing company said the spot's owner had asked for our car to be towed, and the office had approved it "on paper". If only the resident had told the office first, or if the manager had let us know to move the car, this mess could've been avoided. But despite all the rules, nothing was handled properly. We had to drive 20 minutes and spend $321 to get our car back. And guess what? We ended up parking it in our spot, just five feet from where we parked it wrong in the first place. We're really disappointed that this happened without any warning, and that nobody in the office seemed to know what was going on. And to top it off, the entrance gate is broken, so anyone can walk in whenever they want. Just a heads up to everyone: keep an eye on your stuff. You never know when something might go missing, and it seems like nobody will even notice.

Please adhere to the warnings about moving to this property. Management group has little experience in the way of hospitality and customer service. Gates always broken, amenities never open, dog poop everywhere, parking is a nightmare. Many properties around the area that offer way more for way less

People here that have dogs (which are actually allot!) don't pick up the poop!!!!!! its a horrible issues here and no one does anything about it. I haven't been here my first full year yet and its bad! The poop I seeing 90% of the time is from the bigger dogs which makes it even more horrible. Dog bags are not expensive, people that feel they don't have the time to pick of their dogs crap shouldn't be allowed to have their dogs anymore!

Beautiful complex, friendly staff, lovely pool area, and a 24hr gym; two words, OH YES! My family loves being here and so do I. And, it helps that just about everything we need is only a hop away; grocery store, restaurants, etc.

Love living at Cypress! The staff is wonderful and always happy to help (my go to girl is Stephanie), she's awesome and is always on top of things! Dante is the maintenance man and any issue we've ever had has always been fixed/addressed in a timely manner. The pool is great, and rarely ever packed. LOVE the new Amazon Hub they've got so I don't have to worry about office hours to make sure I get my package before closing time. All around a great community with great perks and amenities. We LOVE living at Cypress! We have lived here for over 9 years and this is truly our home. It's always been quiet and family friendly, tucked back from the street, which we prefer. And now Cypress has been completing major unit upgrades, updating everything from lighting to paint to countertops to flooring. We've just had ours done and it is absolutely perfect. Excellent service from the management and leasing staff, brilliant, friendly and quick maintenance staff, a gorgeous pool area and clubhouse, and a gated community...everything that makes continuing to call Cypress our home a total pleasure. Don't skip a visit here while you search for your new apartment!

Lauren in the office is rude to residents. When you bring up an issue that has been reoccurring they simply say "I don't recall that happening" and make you feel like you don't matter. definitely not "luxury apartment homes", they can remodel all the apartments and raise the rent but that doesn't change their attitude and the square footage. In regards to parking, we understand it's limited and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. We recommend a reserved space on property and we offer a range of pricing in effort to create options accommodating the majority of residents. Amazon Hub broke after 2 months of them setting it up. If you were here before the remodel they dont fix anything in your apartment yet raise the rent as if you had a remodeled unit. Location is not good traffic on Eldorado is always hard to come in and out of the property. The only shopping near by is the old Kroger. The internet/cable options are not good at all here. The car washing center on property is broken they havent fixed in over a year. The trash pick up service doesn't pick up on Friday & Saturday and you can only put out one small bag of trash or they wont pick up and you will be fined. The parking is horrible. No place to park cars have blocked our garage and covered parking all the time.

We always strive to overcome issues when they arise however, we apologize if we have missed items that have reduced your living experience satisfaction. We apologize the Amazon HUB lost power 2 weeks ago and we realize that was frustrating. However, we are relieved to report, it's back online and running as of a week ago. For cable/internet, all buildings are set up for two companies: Spectrum (fka Time Warner, Charter Communications, & others) and At&t services. However, if you have another service you are trying to use, please let us know and we can try to add that service. We apologize for any time you found the car wash center was not functioning. We are unaware of days not in service; we have confirmed it continues to work today. Is it possible that you tried using it directly after we took over in 2017? We removed the requirement for paid, coin operation usage of the vacuum and add a button that allows for free usage with an auto-shut off after 3 minutes. We hope you will try again. Parking is limited. We apologize for anyone blocking you in and we encourage you to call in a tow if for any reason your space is blocked; you have the right to tow from your paid space at Cypress. We will send out a notice to the property in effort to remind residents of parking rules. For your apartment, any repairs needed now we can be repair quickly with a service ticket for maintenance. As for the improvements you have mentioned need attention, we would love to invite you to the office to discuss. We can work together towards a solution. This place is amazing. I can tell they've totally redone the units, and they did a great job. Marble countertops, crown molding, great fixtures, it's great! Our neighbours are super nice, and the leasing agents are honestly the nicest people we've ever worked with. The ONLY downside is that parking is scarce. Besides that, I highly suggest it. NOTE: Their pics of their model are a bit misleading though. The units DON'T have barn doors, and the showers have white tile instead of the gorgeous slate it shows. I wish they wouldn't have those features in the model if you can't get them in the unit.

I leased an apartment online and was told there was a no deposit special. But when paying online the system still charges it. The leasing agent rented the apartment I wanted while I was trying to get the payment made. I still agreed to switch the unit after she confirmed after 6pm at night the unit was gone since I already spent $330 dollars. Then I was told I had move out charges from another apartment which I was unaware. I agreed to pay them immediately. I emailed the leasing agent every day twice a day regarding my apartment. Then she says the manager is leaving early Friday at noon. So no one will be able to review your app. I'm emailing her stating I made the payment and I'm guessing it will be Monday before I hear back. Also, I confirmed with the leasing agent who put me on hold and confirmed with the manager I would not be auto declined if my debt was paid. And I may require a higher deposit. Which I could. However, the leasing agent then decided to tell me Monday while I was trying to get help from anyone on my app, that I'm not approved at this time. Point blank. Didn't proceed with processing my application. Just declined it and rented my apartment to the next person auto approved. So where's my deposit. No call from the manager no response from corporate. If you do not have perfect credit or any complications they do not want to bother with you or waiste time actually working to get you approved. And are non responsive. Be careful when dropping 300 to 400 on upfront fees that just become extra income for the owner. Would love to know if any other applicants were approved after paying a debt. Hope it's fair housing compliant.

Not worth the money. OLD AND EXPECT HIGH DOLLAR. There is always trash everywhere and rats running around and yay they have a car wash that is always broken down. There are much nicer apartments in Mckinney for less and better living.

Avana Eldorado apartment community is the best! The management is spot on with everything from being prompt when I have an issue with my apartment to planning community gatherings for a pool party or ice cream social. There are also many great restaurants and shopping nearby in a beautifully landscaped and upscale neighborhood. Everyone is very friendly and caring here, like family, so this is why I am proud to call Avana Eldorado my home.
