Located roughly midway between Ocala and Orlando, Leesburg offers residents suburban amenities along with a small-town sense of community. Leesburg fosters this sense of community with an array of year-round events and festivals like the Leesburg Art Festival, Black Heritage Festival, Bikefest, Mardi Gras, and the 4th of July and Christmas celebrations.
Leesburg’s historic downtown area strewn along Main Street adds to the city’s sense of small-town charm. Nicknamed the “Lakefront City,” Leesburg boasts access to sprawling lakes such as Lake Griffith, Lake Harris, and Lake Denham, which provide ample opportunities for outdoor recreation.
Many of the city’s rentals are located in the central and northern portions of the community, including modern apartments, townhomes, and houses nestled along quiet tree-lined avenues. Florida’s Turnpike connects Leesburg to the rest of Central Florida and beyond.

Property Ratings at Cypress Oaks
After reading previous reviews, I was very leery of what I would find a Cypress Oaks. I have been so pleasantly surprised! The management is engaged and deals with requests promptly. They are working diligently to keep the property in proper working order. The residents I have met have been kind and personable. I love how close I am for all my shopping needs. I feel very blessed to live here and am looking forward to the continued growth of the community.
Black mold roaches trash bedbugs. I have picturea of all it and i was there for a while and nothing gets fixed
I moved in about Mid August and so far everything is wonderful, from the staff (Sandra) ???? and the maintaince ???????? staff (always on point) to the actual residents. Clean!!! The 3 bedrooms are immense and I love my kitchen ?? our pool is always clean ???? the prices can't be beat. Very simple; you won't regret it. You'll be as happy and content with it all. Thank you Sandra for making this happen! ?? -Erika
The apartments are nice, and the community is even better. There are lots of scheduled events to bring people together as well as lots of amenities to keep everyone entertained around the Complex.
The community is well-cared for and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Staff is awesome and the apartments are big and very clean . maintenance is very on point with fixing things also
I moved in here in dec and this place is very nice they fixed it up and it looks great price is great and ppl in here are really nice it great for familys and there a bike trail down the road and it not noisey at all and it makes you at peace
if I had to advise anyone on if they should move into this complex; I wouldn't! I would tell them to run the other way at full speed. you can never get anything fixed when it should be, and when they call themselves fixing it, it was better off If they didn't. they have an extensive pest and mold control problem and the facility is always landing themselves in the news for some reason or another. this complex should take a year off and do an extensive overhaul renovation before they open their doors back up to the public; not to mention take care of their financial problems!
