Property Ratings at Cypress Place
I really recommend NOT living here, or even considering this property. I was a resident here for over 5 years, the first two years were very good as they had good management. The following 3 years got progressively worse each year. They continued to increase rent while providing less quality management and services. I was an exemplary tenant; always paying on time and fixing almost all repairs myself (only logging 2 repairs in 5 years). Both of those repairs were Air Conditioning going out, for more than 7 days. They were very slow to make the repair and both times it did not last – requiring a 2nd period of AC being out. The second year it went out there was water leakage from ceiling to floor of the apartment and their solution was to cut a fake vent in the ceiling, when I inquired about water damage they referenced a mold addendum in the contract absolving themselves from responsibility. There were also constant issues with cigarette and people smoking drugs on premises. Many of these issues I could have overlooked, but instead of valuing good tenants – they raised rent rapidly $300-400 - despite the extreme decline in management/ service. Management sees no value in service or treating tenants fairly. This became even more so apparent upon move out - as I cleaned the apartment top to bottom flawlessly with multiple family members. I even ran the dishwasher and appliances after cleaning to ensure they were clean and working. To my surprise, I did not receive my security deposit, but A BILL for $450 for a brand new dishwasher to upgrade my unit (even though it cleaned dishes thoroughly in my final days at the apartment). They disregarded any information I sent them, while claiming they had to replace the entire appliance due to being dirty. I was going to take them to court on principal, on behalf of other residents who might not be able to legally fight back – but they sent me a letter letting me know I needed to pay outstanding bill within 30 days or it would go to collections. Perhaps I should have fought harder, but to avoid credit blemishes I paid it. But I hope NO ONE rents at Cypress Place, very crooked business seeking to take advantage of residents to minimize their costs and maximize their revenue. Much higher quality apartments with better prices, amenities and management – look elsewhere.
Property Manager is a liar. I'm sure she answered to the owners but doesnt mean she has to treat tenants like idiots and lie that tenant was only complainer about several things wrong with our units. Charged to replace things that were not damaged but normal wear and tear. If I could rate 0 I would

Ellen, we are so sorry to hear that you have not received the customer service that everyone deserves here at our community. We strive to be understanding and fair with all of our residents. We request the same move out requirements from every household to avoid any miscommunication on both ends. We have sent pictures of the conditions the apartment was left in upon move out for reference, but please feel free to reach out to us if you have any further questions.
I had a 6 month short term lease here. The place is clean and new. I lived on the 2nd floor. I didn't see any bugs. The office workers are friendly and nice. Cons: there are 8 residents in a building. So if you work at home and your neighbor is loud, you will be disturbed. And the rent price I guess is higher than the average in the neighborhood.

Your five-star recommendation has truly made our day! We truly appreciate the feedback about our Community!
Been here at the Cypress Place Apartment for a long time now. The convenience, and availability of the laundry room is great. For most parts it is kept very clean by the staff. The only problem is the residents that either refuse to clean the lint traps or they are just ignorant, make it very annoying. Maybe the management needs to re-post pictures of cleaning the lint traps so the tennents know what to do.

Thank you for the great review! We truly appreciate it. And we hear you loud and clear! Expect to see 'lint trap' cleaning signs in the laundry facilities.
