Property Ratings at Cypress Pointe
My car was scratch last night whom I don't know awful feeling not knowing. It's horrible someone living in this complex is damaging ppl cars. I wish I could move knowing who ever did won't target my car again. Will be contacting the police department about this. Please read this and stop to think is it worth it to move here.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Donna. We're sorry to hear that you had this experience. We hope that you'll contact us directly at the office so that we may have an opportunity to address the specifics of your situation. Thank you.
Hands down, the worst customer service possible. Management is nearly impossible to pin down, and is extremely rude and dismissive on the rare occasion they make time for you. Maintenance is equally difficult to get a hold of on the numerous times something goes wrong. Parking is always full of cars that do not belong and I have to find parking several buildings away almost every time I park. We have problems with a leaking ceiling and black mold in and on the walls and carpet, which is horrible for my girlfriend's allergies, but they told us to deal with it. Our A/C has had problems since day one and they still haven't fixed it. I can spit harder than the water pressure. There are roaches and silverfish, and pest control, which we pay for, has never come. Trash pickup, which we also have to pay for, is unreliable. I've read other reviews and it seems everyone else has the same problems as us and management keeps promising to fix it, but nothing is happening (Don't believe me? Go read other reviews yourself!). To sum up, Cypress Pointe is overpriced, and with a host of problems, none of which would be complaint worthy if not for the atrocious management.

We're sorry to receive this feedback about our community here at Cypress Pointe. It's important to us that our residents are happy and comfortable in their homes, and we regret that your stay has been so frustrating. Due to the number and severity of your concerns, we feel direct communication is the best way to move forward. Please stop by the office or give us a call, so we can address your concerns. Thank you.
During the two years I lived at Cypress Pointe the apartments were quiet and spacious. I loved the schools for my kids. When it came time to move I couldn't believe how they charge more to replace the carpet (something they should do anyway) than you pay in security deposit. Guaranteeing that you don't get a refund and instead have to pay. Can't believe they would do that. :(
Grounds are flee infested. Cat owned neighbors complain about dogs and noise constantly. Parking is ridiculous. Too many cars allowed for number of bedrooms. Smoking in stairs and breezeways overlooked by management. Management rude and uncaring. Its all about collecting the rent and filling the quota. The only plus is the maintenance is top notch. Would never rent again or recommend.
My apartment is the best! It is quite and yet very close to any of your needs, whether it be shopping,or going to church. There is a beautiful pool area and even a exercise room! The staff are all very nice and available to help on any of your needs. We have weekly coffee and snacks once a week at the lounge and various parties given for the residents to all get together. I feel "spoiled" living here! I live by myself since my husbands death, but I do not feel "alone" here! It is just a little piece of heaven on earth.
These apartments are beautiful. The grounds are very clean. They have great amenities. They are pet friendly and the tenants are neighborly. They are very roomy for an apartment. The kitchens are beyond other area complexes too. The only downfall is the parking. If you value your parking place or that is a must then you will have complaints. Visitors are not made to park in the visitor parking and there is only room for 1 vehicle per apartment not counted the garages that many residents do not park in front of.
Every since Venterra has taken over the property they have tried to make improvements to the visual aspects of the property. The staff is better than most I've seen but the quality of the apartments themselves stay poor/fair. The longer you stay the less you get. They offer great deals for first year residents but every year you stay you keep paying more money with no improvements. I moved in this poor quality place before the buy out and still have the same flea ridden carpet, same cheap paint that comes off the wall if you try to clean a spot, no cabinet knobs even though I pay extra for them. It just feels like they only care about fixing the apartments after a person leaves so they can get another tenant and those of us that stay each year get punished with higher rent & single pain windows that don't keep out the noisy traffic passing by at all hours. People smoke right outside your windows and chat it up if your on the bottom floors so if you hope to get any peace in your bedroom then find a place with real windows that don't mildew and leak water all over the place. They are pushing really hard to make these a high class apartments but won't offer you new carpet, real windows or paint after resigning a higher lease year after year. Great place if you need to stay for a short term but stay away if you are looking for longer than 14 months.
