Property Ratings at Cypress Run
The only good thing about this place is the cheap rent while getting utilities included. People have dogs and cats living there, Nancy will pick on certain people, yet allow others to have a pet. Oh and don't get me started on her attitude, it's very unprofessional. Maintenance will work on their own time, and do not communicate with you. I had to call 3 times to get my air conditioning fixed in the summertime, and come to find out the unit was never replaced until then so well over 20 years. The office and maintenance are closed Saturday and Sunday, so if you have an emergency, good luck with that. Water leaks are common, mold and bugs are common, your ceiling flaking off is common, pest control was a family business that only came twice out of the 12 months I stayed there. It's an okay place to stay, but just know the "Run" in Cypress Run means run down.
We went to look at the apartment and it was amazing a perfect fit we were talking over financials still looking at it that’s how perfect we(in total it would have been three people moving in) thought this apartment was. We went later in the day and it started getting dark early as it was getting dark we started to cut lights on and as soon as we did about 5 minutes later somebody comes beating on the door and me and my boyfriend being in a unusual area I got scared. We where kicked out by the same lady that gave us the key! she snatched the key from my bf and pushed us out the door, she didn’t even give him his license either back he had to go back and get it and then she pushed the door closed so hard the second time he tripped, we were pushed out so fast we didn’t even get to ask questions we were very confused on what we could have done wrong. We’ve called to see what the problem was and we never got a answer left a voicemail and everything. We wasted at 3 hour drive just for her to be very unprofessional. I was so sure we where going to move in it broke my heart when she kicked us out. I heard such great things about the complex too so
Got broken into. Nancy at the office just yelled at me, made me feel like it was my fault I got broken into. Told me there was no surveillance available. She then tried to evict me because my boyfriend spent the night ONCE. I guess we're not allowed to have visitors? I was staying there for 3 years, I left after that. Don't move here unless you like being yelled at and accused of things you didn't do.
Cypress Run is a great apartment complex to live in. I enjoyed living there and Nancy and staff were always helpful and accommodating every time I need something or had concerns. Maintenance men were also always quick to respond and very helpful. Only reason I moved was due to relocating of jobs. AE
I have been living in a three bedroom for three years and have never had any issues. The rent is far cheaper than many in the area and the pool is always a great time. If you're looking for a quiet place that is affordable, this complex is great.
I have been here for four years and i've adapted very quickly to the apartment complex. Very nice in size and space. I have a 2 bedroom with vaulted ceilings and I love my space.

My husband and I have been here for 3yrs and it started off perfect. The price, the atmosphere, the location, the neighborhood, all the obsolete was great!!! The office management were loving and concerning to us as tenants. But in the last 12 months it’s taking a turn for the worst. Management has changed twice and that seems to have cause the atmosphere to change also. The tenant above us obviously has children, don’t get me wrong I understand that they can get loud sometimes, but it’s so bad that their jumping and running through the apartment and the bulbs in your apartment are get knocked out and stuff falling off the wall( CONSTANTLY) there is a problem. We’ve reported several times but it doesn’t make a difference because the management keeps changing. We’ve have even talk to her for her to tell use she know it’s annoying that’s why she asked for a top apartment because she wouldn’t want to here it!! Gave me her number and told me to call here and let her know when it’s to loud!! That’s not my Job!! If I do text her and ask her to keep it down then it seems like it gets worst. So, all that being said this month our lease ends and we’re out of here!! If you do rent from here good but if you do want to be aggravated with hearing running and jumping above you all day long!!! Don’t let them rent you apt1006. Take anyone but that.

Thank you for your review which is taken very seriously. The one time the noise was reported to us, we did reach out to your above neighbors asking them to keep the noise level down. Since we did not hear back we assumed the problem was solved. Ownership changed Sept. 2017 and a new manager came in Jan. 2018. Thank you for your past tenancy. Regards, Mgmt.
Very polite and helpful property managers, maintenance staff is timely and efficient, located within a good distance of most Columbia attractions!
I've been living here for almost 5 years. I've been through several management companies. Not once have I had the displeasure of dealing with someone so... out-of-touch. I have not been treated with respect and I have not been given the proper amount of information; however, to be fair, that is not entirely their fault. (I want to believe that information is not being withheld purposefully) The leasing office manager, Nancy, seems to be out of her depth. If she doesn't know something, I offer information that is then promptly shut down. With an eye roll here and a shake of the head there, she continuously cuts me off and when I try to stand my ground and try to reiterate or emphasize my point, I am insulted as "having an attitude"...as if I was a child. I had no idea someone can be so patronizing while servicing people in a position where one's job is to well... serve people. Otherwise, the place is fine. The handymen are competent and nice. And it does get noisy, but you can call the cops if it bothers you badly, I guess. The people are nice. And no one bothers you. But I am contemplating moving due to Nancy's behavior.

Awesome looking apartment. Very pretty city. Exciting view. Great food and people
I've been a resident here for over 3 years and have not had any issues. They just change office staff which they are very friendly and always willing to help. Maintenance is also.
Despite the area cypress run is actually pretty amazing...and quite!
I just renewed my lease. I love it here, it close to everything. I have not had any major problems. It's nice and quiet and the police patrols which is a PLUS!
