The girls in the office - Celenia, Vernne, and Tiffany are very helpful! They made me feel welcomed and greeted me in the office. Maintenance team is always fast and efficient. Great amenities and gym is 24/7. Apartments are spacious and well maintained.

I have been living in a hotel since on Tuesday(4/4/23) because of the ceiling leaks in my house and the carpet is all wet because of leaking. The house smells of cement, and the smell of mold caused by water is also severe. I have two elementary school children, so it is hard to live at home. But they don't replace the carpet. Just drying the carpet. I'm worried about my family's health. Though I have renter insurance, I'm losing money financially because I have $1000 in Deductible. I told the apartment about my situation, but there was no response.

5.5 years of nice living in Dakota Mill Creek. It has been wonderful. It has more than we could expect from a complex and the location can't be beaten! 2-4 minutes to Target and to lots of restaurants and the entire Mall of GA. I've been renewing year after year since my contract get extended in J&J so I can say my 3 kids just raise in Dakota Mill Creek. Their school... top of the line! We've never had any issue in all these years but only friendly neighbors, few of them still the same. The gym is huge, the pool and surrounding: Resort Style. Celenia and other office staff always very friendly and willing to help for anything. The neighborhood is so quiet so I never heard load music anywhere around. Our apartment has an attached garage to charge my electric car. That's so convenient also.

PLEASE whatever you do.. Do not do business with this apartment complex (Hercules living). I signed a lease on a 1st floor apartment in September only to be told it is not available anymore via email two weeks later. They acted like they were doing me a favor by keeping my rent the same amount and moving me into a Terrace level which is usually less expensive in the first place.. Then approximately two weeks later I received another email stating that they will have to move my move in date out by two days because the room they moved me to is not going to be ready. THEN on move in day I was told I had to sign the lease agreements before I was able to get keys and see my apartment. This should have been a huge warning sign. When I finally got to see the apartment, it was completely disgusting. Bugs and chewed sunflower seeds all over the carpet. The appliances were very outdated with rust spots. One of the bedroom windows were broken. The front door would not even close properly. In all it was not safe at all or livable for me my wife and our two year old son. I told the leasing office immediately and notified them that I would not be renting from them and I moved my stuff out that same day. They have since not resolved a single thing from this incident and not giving my $1373.00 check and cashed it instead that same day.. I have been passed around to three different people who can supposedly "make the decision" to give me my money back so I can move on from this terrible experience. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS MONEY HUNGRY COMPANY THAT DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE WELL BEING OF THEIR RESIDENTS!!!
I lived here since April 2017, DW was leaking since day one . It took them 5 trouble ticket and 6 month to fix it(Picture is attached) Also asked them to remove trees leaf and modify bushes around balcony which were trapping the water after rain behind the door, they closed the tt without doing that today.( picture is attached) I also ask for pest control inside the building which i am paying monthly for it but this one was also closed without any contact from any one in office. Now i have moved out and they have charged last month rent on my deposit which is fine. the problem is that they have send the exact same amount to a debt collection agency and I am getting a call every single day for it. I talked to Dakota mill creek people (Vivian) twice . still no call back from her boss Kerry. This is just waste of time. My review had 3 starts initially but they are going down.
The apartments are old thus the utilities are fairly high and will run you an additional 100 dollars just for water, valet trash and other miscellaneous charges. The HVAC unit is horrible, and maintenance never changes the filters so expect your Jackson EMC bill to be costly upwards of 100 dollars or more monthly. The units are poorly built you will literally hear your neighbors walking across the floor, singing in the shower, or flushing their toilet. I work from home so it is a complete nuisance throughout the day to hear children and dogs constantly walking across the floor. If you do decide to move here get yourself a 3rd floor apartment but expect that you will probably receive frivolous nuisance noise complaints because of poor noise insulation between the unit floors. I have also shared pics of carpenter ants and water bugs (roaches I have come across in the apartment). You will be charged pest control if you request it. My overall advice the price is not worth it for the quality of apartment you are receiving. There are comparable and fairly priced apartments within the area that are newer and far more worth the money than what you will pay to stay here. Just my honest opinion.
This is a luxurious place to live. The ceilings are high and the place is very clean. It makes me happy to be living in a place where I feel safe. I went walking last night to the mailbox, and I found a walking trail. It makes me never want to leave my residence.
I moved into this place from out of state. I saw pictures online and decided it was what was best for me and my family. The description of the apartment made it seem like it was luxurious and upscale in a community that everyone wanted to be in. It said the one bedroom was 825 sqft which was rather large for a one bedroom, so we decided it was worth the high rent. Upon moving in we discovered that it was WAY smaller than it had been advertised. My husband and I already had furniture being delivered on our move in day and it hardly fit! We decided to get a measuring tape and after calculating everything including storage and patios outdoor we only had 650 square feet of space, Hardly enough for our furniture and no space for my infant to learn how to crawl and walk without bumping her head on furniture. We talked to the office in the front and they denied that our space was any smaller than they advertised even though we measured it inch by inch. They said they can only go by what the builders told them,and they gave us two options, move out or pay 180 dollars more for an apartment that was slightly bigger (but still not even 825 sqft). I was furious, we should have gotten the apartment that was closer to what we thought we were getting for at least the same price as what we were paying for the tiny one they falsely advertised. I tried talking to the manager Roni, who was extremely rude to us. She told us she didn't think she could help us so we should just move out., and she very rudely told us to get out of her office. My two month old myself and my husband with all of our furniture and belongings had exactly one day to find a new place and move out of the tiny apartment. We had to pay movers 400 dollars and we had to move into a place that was 30 minutes away from my husbands job because we didn't have the time to continue looking for apartments. This place is NOT what it advertises. The appliances were yellowing, the paint was all over the outlets and very bad on the cabinets. Everything down to the faucets was outdated and the place was too small to even stretch out, let alone raise a daughter in. The only person who seemed to feel bad for what was happening to us was Jennifer, a girl who worked under Roni. And poor Jennifer is being sexually harassed by Roni's mentally impaired adult son. This happened in front of me THREE times, and I was only on the property for two days. That poor girl shouldn't have to deal with that, and RONI lets it happen.
Nice place and location. The people at the front office are nice but it takes several phone calls and prompts to get attention from the maintenance staff. It has walls and carpet. Very comfortable place. Close to the mall. If you have kids, it's child friendly community. Many of the parents chat and make friends at the bus stop. There is a daycare close by (walking distance from the apartment). The gym is the best that I've seen compared to other apartment communities.
Century at Mill Creek in Buford, GA is a community at the heart of the growing and expanding city of Buford. Whether you are a student or a family, this community has plenty of attractions within its grounds as well as within a 5 mile radius. Situated in the growing area of the Mall of Georgia, this community has restaurants, shops for all interests, car dealerships, and sports entertainment less than 10 minutes away. The grounds are well groomed and kept and overall the atmosphere is lively and it feels just like home no matter where you come from.
I like the apartments, but prepare to pay for the looks of this place. The price point is very high and even though the apartments look very nice, I really can't stand that it's impossible to get a hold of the front office. I have had to show up personally for every issue; maintenance, garbage, rent, and most of the time the front office is 'closed early for the day'. With how much the place costs I would expect them to take care of my husband and I. Be warned the apartments are very nice, but don't expect any decent customer service for any of your needs.
Overall the apartment complex looks and feels very nice. Welcoming environment and upkeep for these units are spot on. The biggest reasons I'm not giving century mill a 5 star rating is because of thier lack in attention to the small things. Management isn't reliable to get in touch with, the gates being left open for several hours at a time, and the response time on maitanace leaves a lot to be desired. For the price point you would expect all of your worries to be taken care of, but expect to be persistent in contacting management after your first rent check is in.
I have been here for 6 years with hardly any complaints. A lot of upgrades since moving in. Hardly any noise or shady business at this complex. My only complaints would be increasing rent every year (which is expected I guess)and more genuine management and staff.
Apartment is complex is over 10 years, but it is well maintained. It is very quiet and reasonable rent prices for the area. The area is great in terms of the amount of options nearby. Also, the public schools are excellent.
