Property Ratings at Dana Park Apartments
If zero stars were an option, I would have chosen it without hesitation. We've endured a year in this apartment, expecting a newly remodeled living space as promised. However, our experience has been a nightmare of never-ending maintenance issues from day one. From broken appliances to a malfunctioning restroom door, delayed repairs, and ongoing problems with cabinetry and paint, the list of unresolved issues keeps growing. Despite attempts to fix some issues, the slow response and lack of care have been infuriating. The living conditions fall far short of what was advertised. To add to our frustration, the main gate has been broken for over a month, leading to a security breach that almost resulted in the theft of my rims and tires. The leasing office's apathy and refusal to cooperate on finding solutions have only deepened our anger. The management's neglect has made our living situation unbearable, creating an entirely unsatisfactory experience. I strongly advise against choosing this property for living. Additionally, the deplorable condition of the dog park, filled with neglected waste, highlights the management's disregard for cleanliness. This living nightmare has been frustrating and disheartening. I demand immediate attention and resolution to these critical issues.
The staff is very helpful. They keep the front office and the club house always looking presentable. The property itself is always neat and seems to have regular maintenance done. Overall, I think it is 5/5 in every aspect.
I live here now and the complex has been through a few different management companies. All were great and responsive EXCEPT the current owners. The leasing office is completely non-responsive. They don’t return calls or respond to emails. It could be that they haven’t been trained or that the job is way above their heads. Not sure? The actual complex is great, it’s quiet and the apartments are spacious. The frustration of the leasing office is what will make me leave.
I think the appliances like stove, microwave, washer-dryer and especially the refrigerator need to be replaced (they are very old and do not work well). It is a very quiet place when it comes to crime and bad neighbors. We lived two years here and there were very few times that we saw the police there. They change a lot of administration. It is very well located, there are very good businesses nearby. Our apartment was very cozy we had a very good area ... we could stay here for more years but what made us leave this apartment complex was that in that apartment there is the presence of a spirit that scared us a lot that made us not want to come back rent more there
The very worst. I use to love living here when I moved in a year ago, the manager and staff were on point. Anytime you needed anything, they were on it but when they switched management, man did things change. The new staff is very very rude, they never answer the phone and the rare times they do, they don't help. This apartment is falling apart and any time I call in to have something fixed. I can expect to be ignored. No one EVER comes. They are so unreliable. They have raised the rent but lowered their standards. The old staff use to be so friendly, now I hate going in to the office because you’re met with so much sass and attitude, this is so wrong. They need to fire everyone in that office and get back the staff they had back in March 2019, they kept this place classy.
Looking to relocate & the office staff lady was rude & didn’t seem interested in assisting me. Crossed this off my list before I left the parking lot.
I currently live in this apartment complex. My family helped me move and I didn’t do a lot of research into the complex before I moved in. It has been a horrible experience being here. They just changed management and ownership again. The current management are impossible to get a hold of. They send out flyers with grammar and punctuation errors like it’s written by a child. They don’t respond to phone calls. They are rude and often clueless on how to help with issues. There’s dog poop all over the community from people not cleaning up after their pets. The dumpsters overflow constantly. The front gate is closed some nights and other nights stays open. The assigned parking is a joke, my assigned stop is a very long walk down the building and around the corner! I dread getting groceries and having to haul everything in. Everyone seems to just use the uncovered spots that are closer so guests really have nowhere to park. If you looks down the parking lot the covered parking is practically empty because they are assigned so poorly. The apartment and management company leave a lot to be desired, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Stay away! The reviews on here are for previous owners. AMC is the mob of apartments. It's already turning into a slum in 2 months. We're moving.

I really enjoy living here. Everyone in the office is always nice and helpful to me. I needed to print a boarding pass and the office printed it for me. My dog loves the Office because they give him treats. I'm very happy I moved in here. My neighbors Are all nice, I do think this is a nice place.
Great apartments with a smart and unique layout. I've been very impressed with the quality of living in these apartments. The whole office staff are all great people and the maintenance team has been beyond helpful in assisting in any repair needs.
I just recently moved into these buildings and I already enjoy being able to call this my home. The staff at the front desk are always friendly and helpful and are always there to assist. These apartments have great layouts are very spacious and affordable for the location. There are also quite a bit of things to do just right around your apartment with pool and bbq areas as well as basketball and tennis courts. Even if you decided to have some fun over the weekend, this location is amazing with plenty of restaurants and night life just across the freeway. I couldn't ask for anywhere better to live.
I'm giving this 1000 sq.ft, 2 bed/2 bath apt home a 3 3/4 star rating. Let's go through the pros and the cons together. The apt has a small, yet decent kitchen with a vertical pantry, all black electric appliances including a built-in microwave, dishwasher, and disposal; vinyl wood-look flooring throughout apt; each bed room and spacious clothes closets are carpeted. The dining area and living area feature a built-in bookshelf and small coat closet. Vertical blinds, ceiling fans, and lit hallway are a plus. (3 ceiling fans altogether) The living room and each bed room open up to a patio via a sliding glass door.(2 patios/3 sliding glass doors) The 1st bath is located off the hallway and has a tub. The master bed room has a private bath with a shower stall. Each bath has 2-drawers/1 under-the-sink cabinet, vanity mirror and mirrored medicine cabinets. Cabinets in kitchen and both baths could use replacing/updating. One of the neat features of this apt is a washer/dryer combo plus built-in shelves in the laundry room. It is nice to have the washer/dryer combo outside the apt on main patio, instead of inside where it rattles things around when in operation. Apt is internet and cable ready, but expensive in this area. I'd go with satellite if I were you. Apt has central heat/air. This is AZ so expect a little higher elec bill in the summer months (like $115.00-$120.00 a month, with thermostat on 78-80 degrees). There are 2 pools/2 hot tubs; lit & fenced basketball court, indoor fitness center, clubhouse, playground, bbq areas, and lastly - pets welcome. Now for the downside of these apt homes: They have changed ownership 3 times that I know of including but not limited to: name change, office and maintenance staff change, rules change, paint change, etc. The fitness center is nice looking but too hot inside to work out. The Hampton access gate is frequently malfunctioning and pass-through key gates the same. The covered parking is okay until it rains and resident parking is flooded for days at a time. The pet friendly policy is not so price friendly to the residents. Management does not supply potty bags nor waste receptacles specifically for dogs. Green Leaf downsized playground and un-decorated the office & clubhouse. Trash is overflowing, frequently on the ground. Traffic from Val Vista & 60 fwy is loud/noisy.
from being young and living with my parents to living on my own, i have lived in many apartments. these are by far the best apartments i have ever lived in. environment is great neighbors are great, everyone minds there own says hello. staff is helpful, and timely with repairs, if needed. the apartment is spacious, and comfortable. pool is great for a swim and BBQ. grounds are clean and well kept. i highly recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a place to live.
I have been waiting for 14 days to get a treadmill fixed. Manager states no contract just like previous owners. I really don't care about previous owners I would just like to get the treademill fixed in a resonable timeframe.
The apartment is nice. Has hardwood floors in living room, carpeted rooms. Maintenance is slow to complete orders but they are hospital and friendly. The apartment recently underwent ownership change. I feel the transition went well, and the new staff is very competent. The location is conveniently located by the US 60, and next to the Dana Park shopping center. I love the area, the neighbors are friendly. I have had zero issues living here.
My Apartment used to be called Cortona at dana park but they got bought out by Green leaf. The first owners were nice and helpful. Quick to fix problems but the new owners are not as fast and they made some things that they have tried to fix worse. I like these apartments because it's not too expressive and my neighbors are very kind. Everyone says hi and how are you. The employees are not the best but the people around me are kind and don't complain when i have a party......so far. I feel like the maintenance workers need a little more training and it'll be perfect. It's also gated which is nice.
Lived here almost a year, moving because of loud neighbors who are not residents. The staff is friendly, maintenance request are handled fast. The water bill is a bit much making the rent more. The management would rather keep the loud non-residents and let quiet people leave. There are better place to live for the money and the neighbors are quiet.
This is a sub-par complex at best. The property design is horrible (i.e. terrible sidewalk infrastructure),, The office staff and the owners do not care about the tenants at all - to them it's just the bottom line that counts. You can find much better for a little more else where. We've lived here a little over a year and can't wait for our lease to expire. BEWARE OF THE WATER BILLS.
Cortona was a wonderful place to live while I was searching for a home to purchase. It is well lit, so I always felt safe; the office and maintenance staff were friendly and helpful; and the community was quiet, yet friendly. I enjoyed my spot near the courtyard with the volleyball and basketball courts.
