Danbury Apartment Community

I lived here from May 2023-July 2024. Everything was pretty run of the mill. Maintenance was pretty slow to come by, but I could live with that. The issues really started when I decided to break lease, so I could move away from Fargo. I have had nothing but issues since then. First of all, the lease makes you responsible for the whole lease term when you leave (totally my fault for not understanding what the lease was saying). So, I continued to pay my rent every month since then. In November, I opted to do a lease buyout. They were completely unresponsive for weeks at a time and would not return phone calls or emails. They sent me incorrect statements claiming that I owned $1250 for steam cleaning. They eventually corrected the info after I called, but it doesn't end there. I received a debt collection notice from them in the mail stating that I owed them more money from July (which I don't) that they just decided to not mention for 7 months. Basically, their accounting team does not keep good records and it will completely screw you over. If you do move here (which you shouldn't) keep records of every payment you make to them!

Not only will they violate your tenet rights/lease agreement. They will make you wait weeks to get anything fixed around your apartment. Within the first month of living at our apartment the baseboard was falling off the wall! Put in a service request for the baseboard and still hasn’t got fixed 1 year later. The garages got remodeled and they forgot to rewire the garage code assembly back in. Now I have to manually open/close the garage. Put in a ticket for this, checked it the day the service ticket got completed…. Still not fixed hahaha. This place is the definition of slapped together. They will smile and take your money while you live in a trash can of an apartment. If you’re considering this apartment complex, take my word and look somewhere else…. anywhere else

I like living at Danbury, the rooms are nice especially for the price. Some things are old and seem to be falling apart but nothing too noticeable, this building is old and you get a room for a good price. The only issue I have is the hallways and stairways usually have garbage left there by other residents. And they usually smell pretty bad, but I understand this is because of other residents. Staff does clean the halls routinely, but not often enough for me to not see the garbage. Otherwise, everyone minds their own business and it’s pretty quiet. Sometimes the neighbors across from our balcony party and are a little loud but it’s nothing crazy. I am also very happy with the staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Whenever someone was parked in my spot, they were very helpful in solving my problem. And I like the way packages are handled here. Anything too big to fit in your mailbox can be delivered to the office, which are always handled well and the staff is helpful. Overall, for the price this place is very nice to live in. It’s nothing fancy, and there are definitely worse places. The only issue is the messy residents; but the nice staff, rooms, and cheap rent outweigh that.

Danbury is a convenient location to live. The residents are friendly and the rent doable.

Danbury is very helpful and friendly with the rental process and quick. I have an efficiency apartment and it is a good size for efficiency.

Most people in this community are extremely inconsiderate when it comes to noise pollution (revving engines, playing music ridiculously loud, yelling in the parking lot, etc at all hours) and there's always garbage everywhere. The apartments are nice and spacious but the walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbors even if they are reasonably quiet and it makes for inadequate privacy. Never have had a problem with the staff though.

I found the staff very professional. In looking for an apartment we took many tours and sent plenty of emails and Danbury made me feel the most secure and felt the most professional. My roommates and I felt that because of the professionalism we became really sold on the property. On top of that Shelbie was able to get in contact with us easily, which really helped the process. I would say that there were plenty of issues when it came to the fees and such since the online payment wasn't working. If anything, make sure that you have your stuff together!

Overall, things here have been fine. Almost all my issues have been addressed and fixed! Everyone in the office is absolutely wonderful, helpful, and very good at their jobs. There is still room for improvement here, as there is anywhere, but I’m pretty happy with my stay here.

I have had a terrible experience with Danbury since moving in. I would never recommend anyone to rent from Danbury. This has been the worst apartment My husband and I have ever lived in. We had major issues with the apartment as soon as we moved in and it has taken management months to resolve them. Some of those issues are still ongoing and have yet to be resolved.

The pictures of the unit you see online when you fill out your application, are not what you get. The apartments are not up to standard. It has been disappointing to live here.

They will waste your time. I gave them a $5k check to pay in advance and they sat on it for a week and then denied me over a debt that is fully paid off. They have no wiggle room and im sure if you are a second late with anything they will use that as a way to drain you of your money. Terrible company

Danbury Management is very professional and they have great communication skills and Ms Shelby who works in the office she is great I love her communication skills andshe have a great personality and her coworkers have great communication skills aswell so thank you Danbury team for welcoming me to this amazing community

Danbury is a nice place to live. It is convenient to almost anything and the rent is decently priced.

The management team is very friendly and they make the process of moving in easy and quick. They ensure all your questions are answered and make sure the apartment is clean and ready for you to move in.

Be very careful what you choose this place is horrible many break ins to my apartment police can’t do anything because it’s not on camera somone damaged my car! And management did nothing my 1year old stays with my mom because I don’t feel safe with her here! Somone keeps trying to get into my window by ripping my screen off!

Danbury has lazy management that does not cater to the needs and wants of their residents. They do not fix the maintenance issues within one week or hardly even ever. Danbury does not handle safety issues and concerns barely at all (both main doors to building haven’t locked since I moved in 9 months ago), they do not plow snow so it covers 6-8 parking spots all Winter, and have never given notices when there will be construction or changes to the building.

Very affordable yet quality place to live. Friendly neighbors and a family oriented vibe. Great place to start our lives together

Danbury's location makes it easy to get anywhere quickly.

It is a good place and area to live although the hallways arent the cleanest but the apartments themselves are clean and ready to go for you.

Even though due to this COVID-19 my office does their best at updating up about situations. They will still even put up signs even sometimes gives up a call. People always says bad things about Danbury but I have nothing but good experience. Everybody does and try to do their best when it comes to a decision in life.

Garage is an interior could be improved a bit but they can only do what theyre given for a budget but the staff is amazing and do what they can

My wife and I love it here! Especially with the help of the staff (Emily). She's been a great big help & always makes sure we are comfortable with everything. I would recommend Goldmark.

My experience was phenomenal. Ill use that word in a nutshell. Danbury blew me away with how fast they were overall, to me being accepted to handing over the keys, to a home where we find peace. We are very very blessed! Thanks for much again! The Danbury office is an office Id like to stay with and also refer people to. They are the best.

Everything about the move in process as well as the first few weeks of living have been exceptional. The staff is so friendly and make sure to care for anything you may need.
