The maintenance here is right on the spot. They are friendly, polite, and willing to get it right. I appreciate the friendliness of the wave by each maintenance person when I was passing them in the car. I also think the office staff is great. This community is perfect.. if you need a place for you and your pet this is it.. I knew upon moving in that I was definitely going to renew my lease.. and we just have. Nice, quiet, spacious dwellings.. clean areas..

Its pricey but it really is the most dog-friendly complex I have ever lived in.

Don't ever move into Dane Park North Garland. You will regret it. The staff is horrible and rude, management doesn't manage anything but the company's wallet and you will be forced to pay for things you cannot use- I.E the gym, trash pick up, etc. Also, large dogs are constantly jumping fences and are off leash making the complex unsafe to just walk around. 0/10. We will be getting out of here as fast as possible.

Very pleased so far with my experience living at Dane Park! Management is very kind and helpful, and the property itself is clean and feels safe. The features are nice- private yards with doggy doors or vaulted ceilings, spacious open floorplans, and a beautiful resort style pool. Glad we made the choice to move here.

Overall I love my apartment & really like having a garage attached so when I come home late at night I feel safer!

I love how pet friendly the complex is. I was able to have my pitbull here and he gets to walk outside and not have people run away from him. He has gotten the chance to meet other friendly puppers and people that love him. The old management company was difficult to get in contact with and slow to respond. The new company appears to be doing much better and is actually making the changes and improvements to the community that the old company had promised.

I have lived here for almost 2 weeks now and have had termites in my apartment since day one. Plus the maintenance crew who updated the unit, patched and painted over the termite damage. Now they are coming back out of the walls. Filled out all the required work order forms and emailed the manager almost 2 weeks ago now and have heard nothing at all back. I would submit pics but it won’t let me. The office staff are great, and we love the property, but none of our initial requests for maintenance on anything has been addressed. Having to buy your own poison and spray just so you can try and get a good night sleep without termites crawling everywhere. Terrible

I typically don’t write reviews because you can’t base a major decision, such as where you will live, on one experience. So, I waited until my third encounter with this particular management company (greystar) to write my opinion. I’m so grateful to God that management changed. It has been rough because the change of management messed up my account with flex and we couldn’t get our rent paid on time. However, Victoria worked with us and removed late fees for us well after the 3rd. That was encounter 1. Then, when I had advised the office that we had been living here for 3 months and still hadn’t gotten things fixed from our walk through, maintenance was there the next day with the entire list and fixed everything except replacing the stove, the microwave and adjusting the water heater to run long enough for us to all take a hot shower. Everything else was done though. That was the second encounter. Last encounter was today. Flex still hadn’t fixed my account(I’m gonna be doing a review on them too) and I told Victoria that we wouldn’t get our tax refund back until the 17th…today and they didn’t clear in my bank account until 540 pm. Well, they put the eviction fees on top of all of the other charges assessed because of rent being late. But would you believe that good ole Victoria removed those eviction fees and let us pay our rent?! Well, she did and I thank God that he sent her and Katie our way. I hope they remain our management company until we move in 2024. Thank you, ladies very much!!!! Now, if we could just get this flex set back up, we will be alright!!!!

I was a resident here for over six years and I loved it. The office staff and maintenance crew are so friendly and helpful! Maria is amazing and she is very great at what she does! She is always keeping me and the other residents informed. I love the giveaways and all the events they hosted for us. I would recommended to anyone looking for a place to call home in North Garland area

I looked at numerous apartments before choosing Equinox on the Park. Maria was terrific during move in and following up with all of the details. The apartment had been freshly painted, had new carpet and was absolutely beautiful. The price is very reasonable as well. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a place around North Garland or Richardson Area

I lived here for a year and was beyond ready to move out. First of all, you’re stuck with ridiculously high electric bills due to the fact that you have to go through the city of garland for your electricity. For my 830 sq ft apartment my bill was averaging $230 a month. Regarding the parking, be prepared to pay $35 a month for a parking spot otherwise you will never find parking! The office is only open Monday-Friday and if you have a package delivered, good luck finding it. They don’t tell you when you receive a package, it’s all placed in a large room you just have to look through everyone’s mail to find it and you can only do so when they’re open. Because of this, I had to ask off work if I had a package since I work a normal 9-5 job and that’s the only time they’re open. Don’t even bother calling the front office because they will never answer. The security gate works about 20% of the time. The valet trash that you pay for is a waste of money, you can only put trash out on Monday’s Wednesday’s and Friday’s between 6 am and 9 am. So you have to do it early in the morning before work and if you’re on the 3rd floor like I was, you still have to bring it all the way down to the curb. At that point I would rather save the money and take my trash to the dumpster myself. Also, communication is just TERRIBLE. Rent anywhere else.

When our management team acquired the property we assumed certain contracts with the purchase, one of these contracts was with the City of Garland. We understand that this is not everyone's first choice. We hope to be able to offer our residents electrical choices in the future when the current contract is up. We offer valet trash 3 days a week as well as the option for residents to dispose of their trash themselves in compactors located throughout the community. We have many residents who enjoy the convenience of our valet trash service. I apologize if this option is not your preference. In regards to holding packages, please understand that we only accept packages as a courtesy, we are not required to hold them or deliver them. There are several options for you to receive your packages, you may have them delivered to your work, or a parcel locker such as an Amazon locker or post office if that accommodates your schedule better if you're unable to make it to our office during business hours. Living here has been amazing. The Apartment team has been nothing but extraordinary! We are so excited that we have a wonderful place surrounded by amazing neighbors that we can call home! When it comes to anything that needs to be taken care of there is no waiting around for days they always make sure it is taken care of as soon as possible.

I am a current resident at this property. Please go in with the knowledge that the management are dishonest and residing onsite is not secure. Do your research by looking at ALL reviews nefore getting scammed or not having what looks good from the outside. The price for not having mangement that resolve ongoing serious issues, is not worth one dime. Good luck with your seach for a new home.
I have so much to say about this property but I will limit my review until I am totally moved out and off of the premises. For now I want to give those that have not gotten into a lease a clear warning. (1) Make sure you aren't scammed into paying more than it is worth. I was told one thing and ended up paying different which was just ONE of many mistakes made. The dishonesty from day one, didn't stop there, it continued. (2) Make sure that you give your notice at least 90 days in advance. I happened to have done that part right! Had I not experienced some other episodes of poor management or poor treatment from management, I would have missed that 90 window of opportunity to leave as soon as my lease was completed. (3) As I have had to do, "DOCUMENT" everything that you feel is not suppose to be happening. Including involving the Garland Police so that you will have something to stand on if it gets out of hand. Management is no longer accessible after you sign your lease. (4) Last and most importantly, please post your review so that others will not blindly fall into the unknown when looking for a home at this particular property. I will be reporting my full review (pictures and reports) as soon as I have moved completely off and away from Equinox in the Park!!! Stay tuned.... Good luck to anyone that decides to move here. I've been a resident now for 12 months on 2/24/17. Thanking God that I am at the very end of my contract/lease.
Management is unpleasant and incompetent. The staff never answers the phone, you can call them from outside the door over and over, no answer, walk-in to them sitting there on their cell phones. That or they are never in the office. Rebecka Ingraham, assistant property manager and Amanda Wolfe, property manager, are best friends which is horrible for business. I would recommend to go elsewhere.
I have lived at Equinox for a little over a year now and love it here! The property is very clean and the maintenance staff is very timely- my work orders are usually done within 1 day and the guys are always nice and professional. The girls in the office are very friendly and always willing to help if I need it. I would recommend this place to anyone!
I've have been a resident for over 5 years and this complex has declined in customer service more and more every year. The staff is never in the office, the phone continuously rings, the staff is rude to residents, and rent has increased tremendously. Rebecca Ingram is the assistant manager at this property and she is confrontational, unprofessional, immature, very mean to anyone she encounters and the property manager, Amanda, will sit back and allow it happen. I have witnessed this on multiple occasions and am floored as to how Busboom Group allows this to occur over and over. This is supposed to be a place we live, a place we should enjoy, be comfortable at and we should be able to discuss any issue with the staff, but none of these things occur. I watched both of these women have a confrontation with the residents because they do not practice one bit of customer service. The pool is outrageous on the weekends as if no one monitors it, the bathrooms are locked to residents, I can go on and on. I have watched numerous neighbors move out and it is always the same denominator, the rude staff. The office staff is a reflection of the management company and I would be embarrassed to be associated with either. DO NOT MOVE HERE. And do not ask me to contact (972) 675-1800 because they are the issue and will not answer nor listen.
Run for your life!! Bed Bug infested. Rude office staff. You are better off elsewhere
This property gave the apartment that we put our $400 deposit away. Can you believe that.. Then refused to give it back. Sounds like thief and dishonest to me. At the same time they made incompetent mistakes and blamed it on us. I repeat DO NOT MOVE HERE. You can not trust this property.. You will get screwed!!!! Contacting corporate is usless.. Our apartments are pretty nice, they could do some kitchen and bathroom updates but over its okay. I do feel they are over-priced a bit.
