on April 26, 2024, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. During the meeting, I expressed the concerns and health issues I've been experiencing since moving into the apartment complex, specifically the roach infestation and related health problems. Unfortunately, the options presented to address these issues do not seem to effectively resolve the source of the problems or alleviate my health concerns. Since my move-in date on April 24th, I've noticed a significant deterioration in my health, which is not only affecting my well-being but also impacting my ability to perform my job effectively. The frequent visits to the emergency room during my work hours are disruptive and add to the stress of the situation. The proposed solutions do not adequately address my concerns. Firstly, the option to transfer to another unit does not provide comparable amenities to my current unit, particularly the in-unit washer and dryer, which were key selling points. Additionally, I would incur unnecessary moving expenses due to circumstances beyond my control. Even with proof/hardcore evidence, they disregard my desire to no longer be in a contract with them due to their fault.

I have videos of people looking in my neighbors windows and peepholes! They don’t fix any insect problems, roaches and ants are taking over! Insanely overpriced for what it includes!

The renovations are amazing. Service requests get taken care of fast and efficiently. Parking is never a problem. The rent prices here are also very reasonable. Do not let other people's bad reviews and experiences discourage you from giving Kenzie Park a chance. I am very pleased with my new apartment.

These apartments are NOT “luxury” nor will they ever be! They raise our rent $375 per month to get upgraded appliances, but guess what??? You only get new appliances if you’re a NEW tenant. All of us who have been here for years don’t get a choice. Management is a joke and so rude. Got my catalytic converter stolen twice off my Tacoma, because the gate is always broken and there’s no security like we had before. Save your money and your time!!!!

Hello, our Apartment homes have been recently updated. If you shop around in this area, you will see the market rents are comparable. Unfortunately, crime has no address, and the gates have been repaired shortly after American Landmark took over. We are a gated community with gate-controlled access. Everyone is receiving Stainless Steel Appliances, and they are currently being installed in building 9. Kenzie thanks you for your feedback.
It may be convenient or near where you work. But do not under any circumstances move to this apartment complex unless you want your house to be constantly invaded, not given a shred of human decency, or to be treated like absolute garbage. I am active duty and was so appalled by my living standards that I had to get my first sergeant involved. I went on a trip to corpus (2 days) found my apartment completely different from when I left. (NO NOTICE THEY WERE COMING) And my cats were there! They spray painted and then didn’t let the room air out and I had to take my cats to the vet because they had gotten sick from the fumes. I came home and was so upset in the lack of care they have for residents -they only wanted to bring in more money. Don’t even get me started on all the nice people that they EVICTED. The staff were so rude to everyone and just ignored all calls. Do yourself a favor and just DON’T MOVE HERE!!!

Anonymous, Sorry for not meeting your expectations. With the renovation process notices were given out and on a weekly basis. Renovations could be a little bit of a challenge. Our goal is trying and have residents proud of Kenzie to call home. We do communicate with residents when it comes to rent payments at the same time we have to follow protocal. Options and resources are out there for residents to benefit from. Thank you for your feedback.
Don't move here! They forced renovations on us that we couldn't opt out of! It's been weeks of living in a half baked apartment! They leave trash, exposed drywall, open electrical sockets, nails, and sharp jagged edges exposed for long periods of time. To top it all off, they unplugged our fridge for HOURS! The management team scoffs at the idea of us being compensated for this. If they treat the old residents like this, do yourself a favor and don't become a new resident! Lived here for years, but I will NOT be renewing my lease.

Terrible terrible renovation process. It has been a living nightmare since new management has taken over. They never properly inform the residents on anything. Incomplete renovations, contractors come and go as they please. They'll write notes sayind theyll enter your Apartment on a specific date and never show up. They'll leave your front door unlocked if you're not home after they are done for the day.

This is the worst apartment complex I’ve EVER been in! During the remodeling we were left with out sinks or water! I didn’t expect to be so mistreated! They are openly breaking laws and are okay with it. They don’t care at all about your right to privacy! They told us they will come in whenever they want. They don’t respect your bills. They leave your doors open for hours with no regard for how expensive it is to AC your home. Do yourself a favor and move somewhere else.

Unfortunately going through the renovation process you will experience challenges. I would like to know how long you were without water or sinks. The renovation process is in phases and hopefully your unit is close to being completed. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.
A new leasing company has taken over recently and rent amounts have increase significantly. They have refused to honor previous lease renewal request after verbally agreeing to do so. Well needed upgrades are being made on the property inside and out. Other than that it will be nicer once changes are made.

(I chose a 1br/ third floor)These apartments offer a comfortable living space. Don't let the absence of a website discourage you from taking a look. Info on this "apartments.com" page is plenty. I like that the floor plans are easy and all units have washer/dryer hookups. And the buildings are in good shape (built 2005), so they have some updated details. The grounds are kept clean for the most part as well. This is a high a traffic area, off the main street Culebra. So you do hear traffic and noise from a nearby shopping center often. But nights are not that noisy. I feel the pricing is fair. Communication with maintenance does lag at times. But usually a call to the office will resolve it. Shout out to the amazing office team that always does their best to get things done! One example is their response to extreme weather of 02/2021. It has been a relief to know they are a caring group looking out for the residents.
I absolutely love this place warm and very friendly as a first rental. This place has become my home staffs are incredibly helpful and friendly. I was just blessed with this place sadly have to move due to new job... I’m actually very sad about it. Would definitely recommend never had issues.

I am currently living here(waiting for my lease to end so that i can move out). I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you are looking for an apartment in San Antonio,as an experienced candidate staying in this apartment for an year and seeing all the issues I would strongly say that this is not a good place to stay. Firstly, the major concern that made me write a review is that the back to back thefts happening in the community and still the management is careless or irresponsible to take any actions to make the community theft friendly(basically no efforts from management). So there have been quite a good number of thefts in the last few weeks, especially the car tires and breaking car windows and stealing stuff from the car. And the management is so rude in talking to the resident when this concern was brought up to them, they dont have minimum manners of addressing the issue or the way they talk to the residents when they brought the concerns to their notice.They be nice and talk to you in a friendly manner when you are moving in/extending the lease but thats not the same case when you go with concerns/issues that need to be addressed by the management. Secondly they have a laundry room which has 5 of each washers and dryers which never work properly,they keep breaking every alternate week. And I moved into this apartment considering that this is a gated community and will be safe to stay, but I hardly saw the gate working most of the times the gate is open. When i was telling this issue to manager her answer was so it doesnt really matter as people can come in behind a car. So basically this means they are least bothered of safety and security of residents and are even careless to take any precautions from their end.They dont even have proper lightning system which makes the thieves to steal the car tires and etc more easily. And the lady Yolanda in the leasing office is arrogant.
Been here over four years and never have had a bad experience. Yolonda the manager has been he since ive moved in very professional and great person. Maintenance is on top of everything. U put a work order and that day or next day is done. No need for any follow ups the job gets done. Love coming home everyday.
